      Yesterday I spent $857 fixing everything that was wrong with the vehicle they sold me. The vehicle did not do any of this during the test drive. Maybe after 3 days everything started happening. The vehicle started randomly completely turning off at stops (not auto start/stop). Sometimes it would literally go dead, no power, and eventually cut back on. The ac/heat wouldnt work properly. The usb ports didnt work. Theres a small place on the windshield thats not sealed and water leaks sometimes. Theres a slow leak in a radiator hose. One tire had a slow leak and I tried replacing it but the wheel lock nut key wasnt left in the vehicle. I ended up getting it fixed yesterday at the closest dealership for that vehicle (Land Rover) in ******. I highly advise to never get a used vehicle here. They wouldnt even try to fix anything. My tow truck driver even mentioned hes had to tow many vehicles from Kunes. Worst car buying experience ever.

      THE WORST dealership you could ever deal with. Was dealing on new truck over emails. Decided to go to dealership to physically look over and test drive. When they brought their first proposal, wasn't even close to what they said they could do for my trade and the price they quoted me for new truck. Long story short after back n forth, they asked what it would take to close the deal. Gave them the numbers, they came back with a payment and term that was pretty close to the numbers I had already had figured. Deal agreed upon. When got to finance and only number I saw was th payment we agreed on ( shouldn't have trusted them) The only part of documents I saw was the signature line on all. No explanation / itemizing of any of them. Again, trusted they were going to stick to the deal we agreed upon. They hand me a flash drive and send me on way. After a few days, I decided to look at docs. To my surprise, they never gave me the discounts on the new truck that the sales manager said, and basically added an extra 9 months of payments to the term of the loan. This will pretty much add up to the amount they shorted me in discounts (close to 5k) onto my loan.Tried to get them to make it right, only to not recieve any correspondence from them after initial phone call. Tried email - no response. Very deceitful dealership.I would recommend AGAINST any dealings with them.

      I bought a 2017 ******* Elantra with ****** miles . Not even a year later the engine go out. I got all scheduled oil changes on time. Was told when I bought the car that as long as I did all my scheduled oil changes and had any major work done through them I would have a warranty on the engine and trans. Well now they telling me the warranty company will only cover $4900 and that I will still be liable to pay the difference of $2825. If I get an engine on my own the warranty company wont pay and it will void the warranty in the future. I talked to ******************* the floor manager and he told me unfortunately things break and theres nothing they can do to help me. Would never buy a car from them again. Kunes GMC of Belvedere.

      Kunes charged my wife, a registered nurse, over $600 to replace our rear brakes on our 2018 Explorer with ****** miles on 9/22/21. I had previously replaced the front pads and rotors myself. A few months ago, she was getting a vibration, so I inspected the front and rear brakes. To my surprise, upon rear brake inspection, I noticed that there is no inward pad on the rear brakes. So....my wife has been driving for the last 20k miles with no rear brakes at all. I contacted the management immediately to let them know that they need to give me a full refund at the very least. They offered a set of brake pads. What a joke. I would be contacting my lawyer if there had been any type of accident. Thank God there was not. I have tons of pics if anyone would like to see proof. Stay away from them! I was definitely screwed over!!

      Hello ****, we hope this message finds you well.First of all we apologize about the issue you are experiencing with your 2018 **** Explorer and any inconvenience this might have caused you.Brakes are one of the componentsthat are very noticeable when they have issues with, if you started to feel the vibration only a couple monthsago this could be a problem that just started recently. Also if you have had the vehicle for a year and half and drove 20k miles, we assume that you have done other services like oilchanges, tires rotations and similar maintenance, we are surprised that no other shop caught this issue. 09/22/2021 was the first and only time that your vehicle has been servicedat Kunes **** of Antioch.Our servicemanager offerto reimburseyou for the brake pads but you refused to accept therefund. Please let us know if there is anything else we can do for you.Bestregards.

      KUNES GMC of Belvidere is FULL of BS! We purchased a truck from them. Bought it on a Monday, the next Monday we had to return it due to transmission issues. Then we got a loaner car. The next day, the loaner WOULDN'T START. So it had to be towed BACK to the dealer. Then the next month, got off work, went out to eat, came back out to the truck, the truck WOULDN'T START. Once again had to get it towed back to the dealer AGAIN. This time they didn't have a loaner so I could get from point A to point B, so we had to catch rides for 3 days. Then I was calling the dealer to find out when's my payment due, no one would ever return my calls. We've had the truck for 3 months, no payments made because we have NO CLUE who we're supposed to pay. The bank we THOUGHT we were through said the dealership NEVER sent them the paper work on our loan, only to find out, there's NO LOAN. And they had to take another route with a different bank, and we have to put ANOTHER $1K Down WHEN we've already put down 3K. I'm over this company. Don't do business with them. They're shady!!!

      This place is a joke. Seems like I know more about cars than the guy selling me my car. More concerned with his dumb sweaters. Not to mention they try to sell you little things to make your payment to go up. And getting an oil change, dont do it takes two hours. If I knew it was going to take this long I wouldve done it myself. Again DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!! Its like selling your soul to the devil

      Beware I read other reviews about this location putting in the wrong engine oil. It will cost you the ultimate price!! Shortly after having my oil changed at this Kunes location I start smelling a burning smell coming from my ******** benz. I went there because it was more reasonable price and closer than the Kunes I normally go to in ********* where I purchased the car. I truly regret it because my engine blew.Im left to pay for the repairs ***** because the no fear warranty only covered **** dollars now Im without a car and a broken heart because I cant afford the repairs. The service light on my dash was never reset so Im not sure if the oil ever got changed and will never know because everything is done behind the scenes. I was told ******** oil change was good for 10k miles i was at ******* and the sticker in my window said ******* from the dealership that was questionable I should have known better ruined my car. The service tech was (CORTLAND) or something similar to that was on the paperwork. I cant stop crying because I was taken advantage of and my ******** is ruined!!Going the cheaper route at this Kunes location cost me everything and the dealership has no compassion but I understand when its all about making big bucks..I was a loyal Kunes customer but I will never do business with this establishment again..Also rude service staff with poor hygiene !!!

      BS...... I have a credit score under 500 spent 5 hours waiting and they said sorry we can not help you. You need $4k down. They get you in and ignore you to think about it? Then after spending more time prompts you to come up with more money or no deal If you have bad credit please do not bother,, LIES to get in. Wait and wait. Until finally you give in and write a check. My wife who is handicapped and my daughter and myself. Spent 5 hours guaranteed a car. I told them upfront that we do not have any money for down payment. We ended up taking a lfyt home with my wife's mobility scooter. Real nice. ALL ADVERTISING ADS W/ this dealership is lies. KUNES Dealerships.Go ahead if you don't believe me. I'm just letting you know as a customer. There were other customers waiting from 9am until we left late at night. I make great money but no credit. As advertised, no credit no problem. BS!!! Unless you have a lot of money to put up front?It's a scam on how they operate.

      I bought a truck from kunes and they refuse to fix my truck I called them to find out why the lugs on the truck was loose and I told them if I got in a accident they told me it's not there fault and I told them about the radiator cap was off and they said they can't do nothing about that and now I'm having a lot of mechanic problems and table do nothing about it ever since I had the truck I've been complaining to them to get it fixed or solved and they refuse to do so they try to get me in another vehicle which I was denied by the dealership so they won't do nothing for me

      I have attempted to remedy a problem where the roof molding comes off of the top of the vehicle since I bought the Outlander. I made another trip to the Stoughton Kunes dealership and they offered to sell me another vehicle, "since I wasn't satisfied ". I was not able to get financing as I was over my head in the new vehicle. Never buy anything from these people. Don't buy a vehicle protection plan because they are a scam. They do not perform the service at the dealership, and will not give you a loaner car. I suppose the plan was $2,000.00. The service technician said she didn't know why they continue to offer the service plan where they can't use the service on site.
