Absolutly horrible business practices. When I first recieved my car I took tye family for a ride in it that night and noticed it was making a clinking noise. Brought it in and found out one of tye rear claipers was loose which should have been chevked during the point inspection. While was there I figured I would sign the car up for an oil change because the oil was never changed and black as tar. So I signed it up for the free oil change I was suppose to be given. How ever when I showed up tye following week for the appointment I was told I had to wait at least a month because their paper showed it was changed even though it wasn't and was told I would have to pay full price if I still wanted it done. So needless to say I never brought tye car back there due to their failure to provide customer service correctly. I reached out to the sales person who sold me the car multiple times leaving voice mails and texts aboit the issues and not once did the guy bother to call back. Now I have had it for a year and decided to look around to see what its actual trade in price is. Thisbis a 2014 Hyundai Sonata 2.0t. It was sold to me for over $14000.00. Its value as of today for trade in is only $2700. So not only did they sell me a car that was never inspected correctly bit they over charged my by $1000's for this car. They should be shut down permenantly!!!

Worst experience of my life. I had my car for four months and the rear clips on the engine went out and a ball joint was needed of repairs. They had my car for three weeks before they found they could only cover $400 of a pointless warranty and I had to come up with $1750 out of pocket for just the rear engine clips. The sales rep who sold me the car kept saying “whelp unfortunately cars to do these things”. Sorry, but not after four months and 2500 miles of driving. Then when I had my car towed from one dealership to them, they told me they’d cover the cost of the towing. When I picked the car up once fixed, the response of why they couldn’t cover the $200 of towing costs was “Unfortunately, the higher ups said no”. Unfortunately, I will never come here again and never recommend this dealership anywhere. I’m back to paycheck to paycheck now because a dealership doesn’t give two ***** about their customers. The amount of people I’ve heard have issues at multiple lines of this kunes is astronomical as well. This brand of dealership gives people cars that go out within a week to a year and the car salesman are pushy (he tried getting my husband to trade in his paid off car to cover the repair costs on my car and have a down payment on another car that probably would break down, then tried saying that’s only worse case scenario). Please Run. -a broke kid who can’t get ahead

Would rate zero stars if possible. Went to view a vehicle with the possibility of a trade in, didn't need to trade but would if it was worth it, was a 2015 Ford Fusion with 70k on the clock . The car we were viewing was approx $20k, the salesman presented us with a sheet full of additional charges which i've never seen before. 1) Vehicle $20,495 - What i came pay 2) Mechanical Service $2895.00 3) Some coating they put on the car $2500.00 4) Service $499 5) Government Fees - $1500 6 Trade In - $3000 I'm pretty sure most of this was made up so they could take things off the list and make us feel like they were giving us something. In the end we got items 2 and 3 off and $5000 for the trade in, in hindsight it was a bad deal for us, the trade in was excellent condition, low miles, nothing wrong with it all and probably worth $7000 The following day we noticed a big dent in the drive side door, near the handle, we didnt see this during the test drive as it was night time and they never told us or pointed it out. After contacting them about it they basically told us it was our problem. Then the breaks started making some funny noises, they also told us that was our problem. We handed them a perfectly good car, paid the asking price and whatever else they added on and the after service was disgusting, they want nothing to do with us and refuse to help us with anything to do with the car unless we pay them. Will never do business with them ever again and am making sure anyone we know will not do business with them too Awful company and disgusting people

On 9-11-23 I took it in for an oil change and informed Jason the service rep that the low oil light had come on and I added just over a quart of oil to bring it up to the correct level. I was informed that I needed to fill out document ID: ******* for engine oil consumption. I filled out all 12 spaces with oil level and milage. On 12-27-23 I took the truck into the dealership. This day I was helped by Sergio in service, and at that time I was told that there was an internal engine leak and the engine would need to be replaced. There was 56954 miles on the truck and the GMC Platinum Plan coverage is good for 75075 miles or expires on 5/13/25. I am well within my coverage range; however, Kunes recorded my mileage incorrectly on the warranty claim submission as just over 97,000 miles. I provided the dealership with all service records as they said they could not access any records not from them. I have called the dealership multiple times since but have never received a response as to where the claim is. All service records were copied by Sergio on the 28th when I brought them in as requested. I called back on 1-2-24 and left a voicemail for Sergio. I received no call back and called again on 1-4-24. I received no call back so 1-5-24 I called back again and asked for the manager. I left a voice mail with detailed info and my phone number and never received a call back. I contacted GMC and they opened a case. On 1-26-24 I took my truck to ******* ***** GMC which GMC arranged. I met with the service advisor and a tech and explained the issue with my truck. They looked at it and were shocked that I had 12 oil level checks and that I was told to do them myself. The tech looked at my paperwork and said I am not in any danger since I am well within oil consumption limits. I would have to lose 1 quart in 2000 miles for it to be excessive. I am writing today about Kunes Buick GMC for trying to get me to spend $12,000 on a new engine that was not needed.

When my husband & I initially went to Kunes Ford of Sterling to buy my current car we were first time buyers. We vocalized as much (our first mistake) and really thought that the sales and financial guy who helped us through this process were awesome and trustworthy people. We didn’t realize just how wrong we personally feel we were until this week. A couple of months ago, I noticed that while my overall balance appeared to be going down, it was also slightly going up every month which didn’t make any sense! So finally I did some math and looked into some things this week and what we found was very unsettling to us. My husband & I personally remember the 2 people who helped us through this process verbally tell us we were only signing for one price when we were actually signing for a different price. My husband & I also do not recall either of them telling us that the APR % we were given by them was actually going to be an extra 8 grand overall and that they reserve the right to profit off of that cost. Now my husband and I did sign the contracts but again we were first time buyers and we oddly enough trusted the people we worked with to tell us the entire truth up front. We also found out this week what my car’s actual worth is and it was listed for almost double the price at the dealership to begin with! So I am already upside down on the loan paying almost 10K over what the car is actually worth. It’s just a ****** feeling. I don’t know who may be at fault here, but I hope and pray this doesn’t happen to any other innocent people. I also hope that if the 2 people who helped us are responsible for this in any way, they are no longer in positions to take advantage of first time buyers or any other innocent person looking for a car. Where this Kunes store could have had a repeat customer they lost one. I will not ever go to them for another car ever again. At this point, I don’t know if I’ll ever go to another Kunes store in general for a car again.

They like to make deals and claims however the sell a long term warranty they don't like to honor. I bought a used jeep grand Cherokee with lifetime warranty and when it needed some seals in the drive train they said seals were not covered. When I took them to the sign in their lobby and had them read that section that said "including all seals and gaskets" they agreed to cover it but asked me for $100 to cover their labor. Recently our new ***** Pilot had a window part go out in less than 3 years. They said they could not warranty due to mileage so I paid for it out of pocket. I then called ***** ******* and they warrantied it and sent me a check. Kunes is very suspect. Every time one goes in for a service there is one more thing they need to do. I would advise against purchases here.

DONT BUY A CAR HERE!!!!!!! STAY AWAY!!!!My wife and I bought a used GMC from them. The wheels were peeling really bad made the car look really bad. They put it writing that they would fix it. Kept saying we are going to have them sent out and have them powder coated, and it will look great. They had them spray painted and that started peeling in less than a month of having it back. I have called them, and they give you the run around how they are going to fix them, and they will get it fixed. Next thing you know weeks go by and you have to call back and they keep pushing you around until now they are saying they have done all they will do, and they are not going to fix them.

The customer service is horrible and the way they treat their employees is sickening! Not a single person I have spoken to has anything good to say about them! Buy a $35,000 vehicle and drive out of the lot with the low fuel light on, thats not ok. The vehicle had animal hair and a bad smell in the back row of seats. When you purchase a vehicle it should be clean! Go for an oil change and car wash for the first time and are not even greeted by the person at the desk. ***, who sold us the vehicle wont even acknowledge me because he knows what he did to a fellow employee is super shady. Just spraying a vehicle with water is not a car wash. I attempted to make some of these things right today when I was in and no one was interested in making them right. I will NEVER purchase a vehicle from here again and I will NOT recommend this place to anyone! To top it all off they are playing *************** over their speakers.

Absolute frauds. Deposited a voided check from me. Which I voided after they said they don't accept checks, but they still took it for "disposal". After a week of getting on them they paid me back and I wanted to cancel a warranty through them. Now it's another uphill battle. Save yourself the trouble. They are scammers and frauds.

I bought a Jeep with a lifetime power train. They replaced my thermostat and now the motor blew. Won’t stand behind their work or their warranty. New motor is 13,000 dollars but will only pay out 5,000 because that’s all their warranty covers.
