1 starRecently being discharged from bankruptcy, i was contacted by no less than three Kunes *** **** "customer service reps" to tell me I was APPROVED for financing. I told each one of them how much I could put down. None would tell me exactly how much I was approved for, so I drove in during a day of pouring rain to meet with Sal - an appt that one of these reps had made for me. Sal was conveniently not even at work that day and I met with Ian and Jose....actual flesh and blood sales people. They proceeded to explain that I would need $2-3K down and a co-signor. The "customer service reps" that kept calling and emailing me were basically using a shoddy and cruel method of baiting me to get in the door. I am a fixed income widow and did not appreciate being made a fool of. Even after my appt. the "customer service reps" keep calling me and hounding me to ask if I found a co-signer or miraculously obtained $3K for a down payment.Review fromJennifer J

1 starThe dealership experience I had was unsatisfactory. The vehicle began to have issues on the same day of my car purchase. I was met with unprofessional conduct upon communicating the problem to the dealership. Although one issue was addressed, another emerged soon after, and I had to return the car twice without any resolution. The dealership sold me a car with active recalls, but they have no estimated arrival time for the parts. While they claimed to have ordered the parts, the car was returned to me with the same malfunctioning components. The GAP insurance is ineffective as it is only applicable at their dealership, which offers poor service. Regrettably, I have acquired a defective car and have yet to make my first payment. It is disheartening to have spent a substantial amount of money on such a substandard vehicle. The dealership's indifference toward selling a flawed car with active recalls is unacceptable. Their service department is subpar, and they have poor communication skills.Review fromSherilyn C

1 starI utilized the RV storage in Suamico, WI. charged $85 07/25/23, 08/19/23 and 08/25/23, three months of storage. We removed our camper 09/09/23 for good. There happened to be 2 accounts created so I was charged for three months of rent when I only utilized two. I have been trying since 08/29/23 to get my $85 back which I am owed. On 08/29/23 I talked with Shannon a couple times that week, found out she no longer worked there. Was told the Manager would call me several times, he never did. Talked to the new person Duncan 09/06, 09/15 and 09/27 who has no intention of paying me what is owed, and brushes me off each time. This company has stolen my money with no intentions of returning it back to me.Review fromKaitland S

1 starI honestly wish i had never purchased a car from Kunes. I purchased an suv from there in September of 2021. I was very adament in the type of vehicle i didn't want and walked away with exactly down to the t the vehicle i said i didn't want but they were adament that there was no other vehicle within my price range and monthly payment i was wanting. i knew better because i had previously looked online and talked to someone on the phone about cars more in my price range. I said i didn't want a white vehicle or santa fe and the guy pulled up that exact vehicle and let it sit by the window telling me that was my only option. as if it were a game to see if i would purchase what i was so head strong about not getting. when mentioning another vehicle on the lot that was cheaper and more of what i wanted and in my price range they played like they couldn't find the keys to it as i sat there for 3 hours while they were "looking for them". i am a mom and have two little ones so a reliable car was very important to me and also had to be within budget. after waiting what seemed forever i finally gave up and decided on the santa fe because clearly i wasn't getting any other options and i needed a vehicle very badly. i only went with them in the first place because i traded my car in and they paid the remaining balance off so i could afford to get a decent vehicle. after signing papers and leaving with the santa fe my friend called me and they had put her in the car temporarily, that i had waited on the keys for that were lost until maintenance was done on the car she purchased. i was livid. we have had nothing but issues out of this vehicle and the bank we go through for the payments has been a nightmare. if it weren't for having a cosigner id let them take the vehicle back. everything about this purchase went so horrible and feel i was definitely taken advantage of in my situation.Review fromChris N

1 starWas just in the Woodstock location, the alternator went out on my vehicle at 5 am so hitched a ride and had it towed here. They called saying it would be $950.07 to change the alternator in a voicemail, disgusting. I asked how much an alternator was, the lady told me 505$ for an OEM one. So $400 for labor, and what should be a 30 minute job. So I go with it. Vehicle was finished the following day, I went to pick it up and was handed a bill for $978.47. So every total I was told up to this was a lie, and on the bill says an alternator is 375$ ish, so that is another lie. I asked about the total, and how it has changed, the service writer goes on to tell me about taxes, whatever thats cool, didnt have anything to say about the alternator price or the 2.9 hours charged at 180$ an hour which is absolutely disgusting. They happen to find a 50$ coupon. Neat, laughable. I was polite the whole time just bringing questions to them, was really hoping for some honesty out of that place. Between all the price shifts, the overcharge on labor nothing but shady work coming out of that place, I will never ever go back for anything. On the positive note, the billing lady was very friendly. Unfortunately still going to stick with 1 start rating, I dont think they care because other review indicates the place is no where anyone should go.Review fromShawn L

1 starWent to Kunes Buick GMC in *********, ********* for an oil change and diagnostics for a balking problem. Was told I needed to replace the timing chain. I was given a quote of $2500 plus to get that done. When I came to pick up my car the next day I was told if I paid by credit card that there would be a 3 percent surcharge for "handling". If I had been told this the day before I would have brought a checkbook to save myself $79.00. I complained and they refused to budge. Asked for the manager and was given a card. Guess that GM ******************* was too busy or didn't want to deal with me. I told both the cashier and the service advisor that this was very bad business. If this facility wants to discourage credit card usage they need to inform customers up front. They will never get another dollar from me and I encourage anybody who does business with them to beware.Review fromMatt G

1 starTerrible experience bought a truck 10 months ago with brand new tires. Within 10 months 3008 dollars for excessive tread needing all tires. When I went in for repairs they called me and said the total was 2425 out the door and we can set you up on dignify. When I got approved for the the total they called and entered it so I was all payed. When I came in they told me it was now 3008 dollars because I forgot to add the tires. I did dignify because I could not afford it yet they made me pay it before I could leave. This is terrible service and dishonesty in there vehicles. I also don't believe my truck was thoroughly inspected right or when I got all my oil changes my tires were not balanced and rotated right. Which all my work was done at kunes. Also when doing the tires noone called and asked me what kind they just put firestone on.You lost my business and my wife's and i will be sharing with more. Kunes elkhorn Delavan did the work stoughton kunes sold me truck. Terrible experience. I have never heard of a dealership just do work without asking. Also they told me a price and changed it the next day putting tires on i did not ask for. I had all my oil changes done through kunes and no way you get excissive tread unless they did there job incorrectly which every appointment i had them balanced. Also we took of my oiler filter was not getting changed. Most shady dishonest buisness and i hope people read this.ment i had them balanced. Also we took of my oiler filter was not getting changed. Most shady dishonest buisness and i hope people read this.Review fromLewis P

1 starThis dealership is the worst place we have ever dealt with!!!! They have had our trailer on a factory recall of the slide mechanism for 2 1/2 months! Practically most of the summer! No voluntary info from them and when we call to find out the status the answer is always well call you back . And nobody ever follows through! No customer service!!! We will never deal with them again! And we will advice everybody to stay away from that company!!!!Review fromMark K

1 starBuyer beware. This company makes sub-par campers. We purchased a Travel Lite Extended Stay 2022, model 840SBRX. We purchased this April 2022, only used it once, then winterize it per their manual. When we opened it up for this season in April 2023 the whole interior was wet and molding. We have a video of the water leaking from the nose of the camper. We contacted both the seller (KunesRV) and Travel Lite. We were told it's not their problem, we should have checked the seals before winterizing. My husband suspects they never sealed the camper in the factory. A brand new camper ($******) should not leak like this did unless they never sealed it. Nor should the buyers be responsible when they have cared for it as directed in their pamphlet. We also had an extended warranty, which was useless and a waste of money. So we essentially have a ****** dollar peice of junk in our yard. The molds are so pungent, that we can not even use. Mold can cause lung problems and other issues if exposed to. We have tried everything to settle this with the companies but no response for months now. We have an email trail and have also called multiple times, no replies.
