On January 11, 2024 at 1:10am someone named ****** ******* charged an egift card for $300. This purchased is now added to my credit report. How can Kohls website authorized this purchased? My account is closed and I'm supposed to be receiving another Kohls card. All this is showing on my credit report. They should have the fraudulent email because it was sent to me. As a 25 year Disable Army Veteran this is highly discouraging!!! Please get this unauthorized purchased off my account and off of my credit report. This is how Kohls treat their customers when the security on their website need to be fixed????

Purchased 2 shirts at Kohls on my CITI credit card ($27.00) Cashier opened a new kohls credit card in my name & placed charges on new Kohls card on October 10, 2023. Did not want or ask for a Kohls card. Received a phone call from Kohls on why I had not paid ($75.00 including late fees) disputed charges. Kohls filed a credit report that I was 30 & then 60 days late. My credit score dropped almost 50 points going from Good to Fair. I paid the $27.00 & have a receipt. What can I do to correct my credit score. Im 84years.

I ordered online at ****** and they sent me shipment notification that my items were shipped on January 12th. They were not shipped then and still hasn't gone out until January 16th. The order was promised by January 20th but it never arrived. I contacted them and said the package must be lost and they agreed and told me they would be refunding me the money for the order. But they refused to send me any form of proof of refund. Then I get a notification that my package was being delievered on January 22nd and it was not delivered. Then today January 23rd I get a notification that the order was delivered and it was not. I called ****** again to get this fixed and they told me they couldn't give me a refund for the order because they had 3 of the 4 items I ordered in stock. So they would refund me for the one they didn't have and send me the other 3. Now it's been 2 weeks since I ordered these sweatshirts that were already needed. I didn't trust them to be delivered when they stated they were going to be so I said I would just rather a refund but they refused. They told me I had to go through my bank for it but it wasn't on my bank it was on them. This is ridiculous business practice. Because they didn't insure the items I couldn't even file a complaint with the shipper so I was forced to deal with ******. It's my money they have and I have nothing so I should have gotten a full refund for all the items. I'm done shopping with them and I hope others will do the same. They make up the rules they want and it shouldn't be legal to do that.

Back in November 2023 I found that someone had used my Kohl's card to purchase a few perfumes, etc. for a more than $1200. Since that was clearly fraudulent, I requested new cards (which I received) and had them open an investigation. On Friday I received a letter from Kohl's stating: "After a review of the purchase(s) in question, we have determined that the charges were not fraudulent based on your prior account history and activity. Therefore the charges will remain on your Kohl's credit card account. The previous disputed amount will be included in your next monthly statement". I called the phone number on the letter and they said that I should ignore that letter because I had no balance in our account. I asked for an explanation because their letter suggested that I had committed fraud, based on my previous account activity. I also requested to close my account. At that point the call went silent. I called again and received the same answer. I was finally able to close my credit account.

Ordered Kohls.com 1/4/24. Part delivered 1/10/24. The rest estimated 1/16/24 delivery. Called Kohls 1/18/24 to check status. USPS cannot tell me when order will arrive Kohls told me they could not do anything until after six days 1/23/24. Kohls showed no empathy and did not offer solution. Definitely not Amazon. Com. Last time I order from Kohls.com. Still waiting on order.***************************

I purchased 4 items at Kohl's in ****** ***** **, on January 18, 2024. At checkout I noticed the price of the articles were higher than the posted price on their electronic signage. I told the checkout person about the pricing, and she requested a "price check". A person accompanied me and looked at the price on the signage and contacted the checkout personnel and noted the sale pricing was on the sign and to adjust my purchase. When I got back to the checkout lane another Kohl's personnel was assisting the checkout clerk in getting the price corrected. She stated that the Electronic signs had been in error since the previous day, and their corporate office was trying to rectify the situation. My response was, if I wasn't so vigilant I would have been overcharged. Her reply was there was nothing they could due as it was a corporate program. Without my checking of the pricing, I would have been overcharged by about $70 or 28% of the total purchase price. I mentioned at the checkout lane that other customers were being overcharged, but there was only a resignation of there is nothing we can do.

On 01/02/2024, I was looking over my credit report and saw that Kohls ****** had made a hard inquiry that I did not authorize or know about. I called Kohls to inform them that I did not attempt to open any credit cards with them and dispute the inquiry. The Kohls agent I spoke to told me that I cannot dispute an inquiry if I do not have an account with them. I told her that Trans Unions website instructed me to call to dispute a fraudulent inquiry, and I was concerned about the fact that this inquiry was made, using my social security number, without my knowledge I dont even shop at Kohls. She told me that she asked her manager and her manager told her that I cant dispute an inquiry because I dont have a Kohls account.Through this entire call, the agent did not ask me my name or any other information to look into whether an account was opened in my name. She just told me off the bat that I would not be able to make the dispute. This is wrong, by the way. You can dispute anything that shows up on a credit report, and a hard inquiry can have a negative impact impact on my credit score. I specifically said that this inquiry was done without my consent, and she should have transferred me to the fraud department.Today, a letter from Kohls ****** was sent to my old address (fortunately a family member lives there and told me about it). The letter said that Kohls had detected activity on my Kohls credit card that was unusual for my normal shopping pattern. Clearly, the inquiry was made because someone stole my identity and opened up a card. The letter had the number for Kohls fraud department and I called and reported the fraud. I am upset because had the agent I spoke to on the 2nd taken me seriously and looked into the inquiry or transferred me to someone who could, this would not have happened. Instead, she gave me false, misleading information and told me that they could not help. Im concerned that Kohls isnt taking fraud seriously.

I ordered a snowman snow globe and because of the poor job packaging by ******, *** broke it and it was sent back to ******. I never even saw the package. Nothing was ever said to me about it, I had to find all this out by the tracking number attached. I called ****** and a replacement was sent, except it was the wrong item and that too came to me broken. I tried to call to have it replaced again but they told me I couldn't because a replacement had already been sent (broken). So, they were to give me my "money" back. Only it was minus the ****** cash that I had already spent. None of this was the customer's fault! After numerous phone calls, being hung up on and waiting over an hour to talk to a supervisor (in which I never was let talk to) I am supposed to be getting the money back. But I haven't seen it yet. Then on a separate incident, while I was waiting for my money to be put back on my card so I wouldn't have a balance, the due date came around for the payment. So, I waited until the last day to pay it. When I made the payment, it pushed it off until the next day which would have given me a late fee. So, I called to have them take the late fee off. The lady told me that in order to do that, she'd have to cancel the payment I just made online and pay on the phone. So, I did. Instead of canceling the payment, they took the payment out twice from my bank account. I called customer service once again to have it reversed but they tell me it can't be put into my bank account, it has to come in the form a check which will take up to 14 business days. Again, a s**** up on ****** part that makes the customer have to pay for their mistakes!
