1 starIn July, I purchased a Shark AI Ultra Robot Vacuum with self empty. I had a 40% off coupon and $50 in Kohls cash that I was able to apply to the purchase. The vacuum was originally $599 but on sale for $479 and after my coupons, the total was $305.56. Well, that was a freaking fantastic deal or so I thought. When I received the vacuum, it was in its original manufacturers box with no bubble wrap or anything to protect such an expensive purchase. The box was banged up and taped, and the vacuum wasnt operating as it should. I returned it to the store and since they didnt have any available, I was credited back the coupons to use on another vacuum purchase. They made a note on the account to ensure I didnt have any issues with a future purchase. I have been waiting for the item I purchased to come back in stock. Today, I decided to just purchase a different vacuum, so I opted for the Shark AI Ultra Robot Vacuum and Mop for $699. When I went to order, I was not allowed to use the coupon. I called customer serviced, talked to a supervisor, and was repeatedly told that this item wasnt eligible for coupons despite having been assured that I could use it. I started looking at all of the robotic vacuums and every single one now conveniently states not eligible for coupons. How funny is it that it allowed me to use a coupon on a vacuum before, Kohls obviously sent me the very last, beaten up vacuum in that model they had, and NOW no vacuums can be purchased with a coupon. What I look likeboo boo the fool. Since they care nothing about their customer service, nor do they honor their commitments, I shall take my purchases elsewhere. They can keep those little $50 Kohls cash crumbs, since they are so hard up for money. Thanks for listening to my rant. I just wanted to make people aware of the bs they are trying to get away with.Review fromKi M

1 starOrdered an expensive furniture item, which broke within 60 days due to faulty manufacturing. Contacted Kohls & the rep hung up on me when I asked for the manager--AFTER the rep repeatedly said we 2 seniors, one of which is handicapped, needed to haul the item 100 miles to their nearest store or package & ship it back. Neither option is viable.Review fromChristy P

1 starWorst customer service I've dealt with in a long time. After speaking to the "supervisor" Marco, who didn't sound American, they could not do anything but say I'm sorry. They could have at least offered me a gift card or something for their error, my inconvenience, and all the frustration. The refund credit that was supposed to be on my account was not done after calling in twice about the return. Now my bill is due, and they want me to call back in a 4th time to get the late fee and interest removed since the refund credit won't make it on my account in time. So, supervisors don't have the ability to fix a customer's account without us having to call back in? I had more authority and ability when I worked as a customer service rep in another line of work. This is absurd! Very poor customer service. I'll take my business elsewhere.Review fromdonna b

1 starI purchased 2 $100 hotel.com gift cards. Went out to the car and gently scratched to reveal the pins. On both cards, the pins also completely scratched away too. I immediately went back into the store and showed the cashier the defective cards. She agreed they were defective and said they were possibly old. Another woman said they had to do a corporate refund. She told me it could take up to 2 weeks and to check my Kohls charge account for the refund. Its been two weeks and still no refund. I called kohls customer service and they said she gave me completely incorrect information. They said it would take up to 60 days and the refund would be in the form of gift certificates. I explained that I did not want gift certificates. I was sold a defective item/product and I should be refunded the same way I paid. They refused. This is THEFT. I did not change my mind. The gift cards were defective. Im ******. I want my money credited the same way I paid. Logical enough. Customer service was useless.Review fromJenna Z

1 starThe worst customer service Ive ever experienced!! I placed an order online for an E bike in July, which cost over $800. I never received the order, and never got an email or any communication letting me know where it was or why it didnt come. After tracking the item, I found that for some unknown reason it was returned to the Kohls warehouse. I was never notified and was given no explanation why. Also, when I called about it, and finally figured out where the item was, they would not just send me the bike that I already paid for and that was sitting in their warehouse Instead, I had to wait 30 days for them to give me a refund and then get online and reorder the item. Well, 2 months later, I was still not refunded! I had to call AGAIN, and after a huge ordeal and 45 mins on the phone, Im supposed to get my refund in 7 days. They were unapologetic, and did nothing to make it right. The whole thing was a huge inconvenience, and there was zero communication from Kohls. I will NOT be shopping at Kohls ever again.Review fromKathy L

1 starMy father was scammed out of a ton of money after calling DirecTV to get help with his TV not working. This all started with this call to DirecTV and then someone posed as a Wells Fargo employee stating that his checking account has been hacked and he is out $9700.00. They instructed him to buy 32 Sephora gift cards, in a very large dollar amount, at two stores in 4 different transactions. They called back multiple times and directed him to purchase these gift cards and to give them (the criminals on the phone) the code off the back of the gift cards. The employees at Kohls didn't question him much and allowed him to buy these with cash (as instructed by the criminal on the phone)....That is a big enough problem. The other problem is Kohls wouldn't let me report this and didn't have a system for taking this information in from me and made no attempt to help me on the phone when I was pushed around from one rep. to another, who not only wouldn't transfer me, but lied to me, it turns out that they don't even have a fraud department and everyone I spoke with barely spoke English, they spoke Indian.....when I went into the store for help, the manager had NO IDEA what to do or how to help me at all. I asked her to scan the cards at least to see if any had a balance and she did that but had NO CLUE what else to do and told me to call this supposed Fraud Dept.... My father is 81 years old and was scammed and taken advantage of and Kohls let this obviously senile person purchase with CASH a large quantity of gift cards & then was NO HELP in contributing to any solution after the damage was done!Review fromRose F

1 starI went into the store this summer to buy my family swim suits and as I went to the register I saw what was suppose to be paid and I asked if they had coupons that I could use and they said I had to have a membership to use those coupons. They told me I just needed to sign up for a credit card which I told them I wasnt interested. They then say well you can always apply for it and still get denied and still use that coupon after being denied. I told them I was still not interested in getting a credit card just to get a discount. I had my kids and they were wrestles and wanted to leave. So I said well Ill more than likely get denied. So I applied for the credit card not knowing Id get accepted and I thought I would get money off. I then paid for my purchase and little did I know they used my credit card without my knowledge. I wanted to pay In full with my money and not my credit card I didnt want in the first place. I then had $75 I had remaining when my credit card came in and at the time I didnt have the funds for it and had to wait for the next payday to pay. The apr is *****% so it went from $75-$105. I had to ask family for help to pay it or i wouldnt be able to pay it back or off. I was tricked and lied to about what I was going to get. I feel robbed and cheated.Review fromKaren W

1 starIn 2021 I bought my girlfriend a Christmas gift at ******. Fast forward two years and ****** believes I owe them hundreds of dollars.I talk to three agents and get the runaround - they have me contact a debt collection agency, who says they have no record of my name whatsoever. ****** agents then try to get rid of me by having me call Experian, a credit reporting agency, which is where I first found out that ****** is charging me anyway. No new information. All ****** agents say that they cannot explain the charge, nor can they access any information about it. Finally the fourth customer support representative I talk to "offers" that I pay them 4 times what I originally bought in 2021, to "settle" the claim. Please, for the love of your wallet, never allow any ****** salesperson to push their card on you. I don't know what weird accounting they have done and what strange practices they have to lose my information like this, but ****** has now stolen a lot of money from me and I have no recourse.
