1 starThis has been a nightmare!! I returned a pair of shoes at the store with a receipt. I was advised by the customer service person to get a gift card instead of getting credit back onto my Kohls charge card. I was not informed that it was just a Kohls merchandise credit, not an actual gift card. Since I didn't pay close attention I accepted. I went to use my credit with a 30 % coup and I was told I could not. I was also informed I could not use it to pay off my credit card balance or transfer to a gift card! UNreal!!! I talked to the manager and she gave me a one time use of my 30% coup, but told me the other ***** balance cannot be used with any promotions. REALLY??? I called corporate to complain, and 4 different times to customer service and got nowhere!! I was placed on hold several times for at least 20 min, then I was told a supervisor would call me back and nothing happened. NO WONDER this place is losing customers!! Also...dont try and cancel an order online because they will not allow you to do so!!!! You also get stuck with returned merchantdice that will go to your credit card even if the credit card was paid off in cash!!! I WILL CONTINUE TO RAISE H*** until this mess gets straightened out!!! NO one deserves to be treated like this!!! I HOPE THEY END UP SHUTTING DOWN!!! HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!! GOOD luck when you buy stuff from them as well! Clothing isn't stitched properly, cannot find what they advertise and etc... THIS IS WHY I DO NOT SHOP THERE OFTEN!!!! ONCE I SPEND MY CREDIT< I WILL NEVER RETURN!!!!!!!!!!Review frompaul m

1 starI have had an ongoing dispute over a bill with Kohl's for the past 3 months. I have NEVER used my Kohl's card and always paid cash. I purchased items (in cash) at the Bay Shore NY store. After making sure the items fit, I threw away my receipt, as I always do if I don't have to return anything. I received a bill the following month (1/26) that showed my purchases were also charged to my Kohl's card. I immediately called and after being on the phone for nearly an hour was told that a dispute action will be started. The following month I received another bill. I again called Kohl's and was told by Jose (****) that the dispute was resolved in my favor on 2/24 . On 3/27 I again received a bill. After spending over an hour on the phone with their nightmare customer service department (Chris ****), (Hanz ****) and Supervisor Jessie (****), I was told that it has to be resolved in the store. I went to the store that day and was given the same nonsense I received from customer service, though they did give me Kohl's Corporate number. I called the next day (3/28) and went through the same runaround with their horrendous "customer service" people. Again it was an hour on the phone with Andrew (****), Elise (*******) and Supervisor/Manager Cindy (*****). This time I was told that a letter was sent to my house in February and since I didn't respond to it, the dispute was resolved in Kohl's favor. When advised that I never received any letter from Kohl's, I was told there is nothing they can do. I had to fight just to get a supervisor on the line and they were just as useless as their customer service reps. I repeatedly requested an email address to lodge a complaint and was told "we don't do that". Customer service is nonexistent at this company. I was a loyal customer even though quality has gone down in recent years. I will no longer be shopping at this disreputable business again and will advise all and sundry.Review fromBrenda M

1 starI ordered a gift from Kohl’s online for a secret gift exchange. I marked it as a gift and said it was from “Secret Diva” as this is gift exchange amongst strangers and you are to remain anonymous. The person who received the gift also has my personal name & address on the gift receipt. How unprofessional is this Kohl’s? If I shop anywhere else I don’t have this problem of stores releasing my personal information. I will close my account, never shop with you again & share my experience on social media. I’ve called your so-called customer service # only to be transferred to non English speaking people who are clueless as to why you are even calling. Do better Kohl’s before you lose your entire clientele starting with me.Review fromWendy M

1 starWhen sending me a new card, kohls agent neglected to tell me they stopped my automatic payment. I called and they agreed to drop a late charge but could not reverse the interst, which was low so I agreed. Today, I tried to call about my new paper bill that includes the late charge and a new interest charge. I could not reach a representative because I was transferred multiple times to agents trying to sell me a medialert, then direct tv. I will pay via snail mail but NEVER AGAIN shop at Kohls. I cant even greach them to close my account. They should be in jail, not business. And, I have been a loyal customer for 40 years. No moreReview fromAbraham S

1 starAfter being a customer in perfect standing since 2003, I feel totally disrespected and violated by Kohl's business processes. After 20 years of consistent payments against my account, Kohl's reported me as a delinquent and a credit risk, when I hadn't paid a $32 balance in 1 single billing period. This business practice resulted in my credit score being negatively impacted by more than 50 points. Kohl's does not send out statements, when accounts are in a $0.00 state, and for whatever reason, I did not receive a statement during the billing period in question. Thus I believed that my balance was $0.00. Once I understood that it was Kohl's reporting that had cause my significant drop in my credit rating, I attempted to find someone who might be interested in retaining me as a customer. I first attempted to find someone through the billing number on my statement, which resulted in trying to communicate with someone who's first language wasn't English, and when I ask to speak with his manager, I was hung up upon. My next attempt was to speak directly with an assistant manager at my local Kohl's store, who provided me with a corporate number. When speaking with an individual at corporate, whose English was questionable, they submit a request for a review of my situation. Today I received a letter from Kohl's Customer Service and Operations Center stating that what was reported to the credit reporting agencies was an accurate representation of my account and no action to would be taken by Kohl's to rectify my situation, which for the next 7 years will unjustly appear as though I don't take full responsibility for my debts. Since there does NOT seem to be ANYONE at Kohl's who feels that treating 20 year customers in this manner is insulting, unfair, and warranting any action, please consider me a past customer, who will warn others of Kohl's business practices and lack of customer care! ******* *******Review fromAmanda F

1 starKohl's has changed their customer service phonr options and we are now unable to pay by debit card but must turn over all of the private, vulnerable information; social security number, bank account and routing number, and birthday. They claim this is for our security but I have had no security issues paying my bill by debit card for 2 years. I feel decidedly INsecure with this new, invasive process.Review fromJanie K

1 starKohl's was my 1st card, always enjoyed the benefits of that. However, I made a purchase on the card last month but needed to return. My credit score dropped by 29 points! I have spoken to customer service but as i understand, associates don't know exactly when this is reported. The return was processed 2 days after the purchase. Credit Scores have an impact on employment opportunities, interest rates if a loan is being sought. Disappointed with a company I've been loyal to for over 15 years. Was advised to contact the credit bureaus, however it's not a dispute. Guess as a consumer I just need to wait and see.Review fromGabriel M.

1 starMy girlfriend purchased a CuddlDuds electric blanket for me last Christmas. It was operated with two controllers. Very soon it seemed like inconsistent heating. The other day one of the controls had a flashing light. I looked it up and I assume it has a open circuit. I tried to contact CuddlDuds and they told me to contact Kohl’s. If was hard to contact them because there phone menu had nothing about my issue. So I finally talked to someone and basically the warranty was 180 days/6 months. It was a year and three months I had it. I expected for it to last longer especially for the price. I was told that the wiring for all electric blankets was only available in China. That’s all electric blankets. I think they mass produce these and obviously don’t recheck for sketchy wiring. There is two brown burnt spots that have wires crisscrossed it’s only in those spots and I took photos of them which you can clearly see. It’s not my fault for defective wiring. I hand washed and never put it in washing machine so as not to kink the wires. I’ve never really had issues with Kohl’s except for this instance. Maybe I might buy clothes from them but that’s about it.
