1 starI would give zero stars. They do not care about their customers at all. It amazes me what they actually are getting away with regarding the Kohls cash. It is a sin what they are doing as it is stealing. Ridiculous! I will never shop there again.Review fromJanice W

1 starI placed an order for 3 items on Kohl's.com on 11/28/22. The following day the order status showed Awaiting Carrier Pickup by UPS. The status remained unchanged through 12/7/22. I contacted Kohl's customer service on 12/7/22 to inquire, as UPS stated the order had not been requested to be picked up, only a label printed. I was told by Kohl's customer service that the order could not be cancelled or a reshipment placed and that I needed to wait until 12/16/22 and then call back if I had not received the order. On 12/16/22 the order status continued to show Awaiting Carrier Pickup. I called customer service again on 12/16/22 and after difficulty my existing order was cancelled and "resubmitted". They did not want to issue a refund, only to attempt to resubmit the order as new. I was told that the items would be received by me on or before 12/24/22. I requested a rush shipment as these items were Christmas gifts and ordered on 11/28, but I was told that they could not rush shipment on the order. The order did not arrive by 12/24/22, and on 12/30/22 I called customer service again, as the order continued to show the same status Awaiting Carrier Pickup. After much difficulty I was told the order would be cancelled and this would be reflected on the Kohl's.com order status, and I was instructed that refund could take up to 10 business days. Today is 1/5/23 and the order STILL shows Awaiting Carrier Pickup. No refund has been issued. I called CS yet again today and was told that the order was still awaiting pick up and had not in fact been cancelled. After much difficulty, the CS rep stated he would issue a refund (again 7-10 business days) and that the order status will NOT show as cancelled "because we are just issuing a refund". I will never do business with Kohl's.com again. Unacceptable.Review fromMary L

2 starsI paid my Kohls Credit Card bill in person at a store last August 2022. Got a receipt and months of zero balances on my account statements then they charged me on my January 2023 bill for the August amount again though there are no other charges and I was paid in full. No assistance from calling. No assistance at the store. Store only takes payments but won't investigate issues. After 23 years I've never had such an issue before. I go in stores to pay in person every time to avoid questionable practices and they still pull this. Beware.Review fromJill W

1 starI've had a ****** card for many years, but don't use it anymore. Haven't for years. When I shopped there recently, I was told that if I updated my information, I'd received big discounts. I fell for it. Despite having a credit rating of 815, and no credit debt, I was told that my request for ****** credit was denied. WHAT? I checked my credit report and indeed they had made an inquiry, which lowered my score. I filed a complaint with the BBB, but they said it was not their problem. Since then, I receive countless email scams every day! So what they wanted in "updating my account" was to get my email address for this!Review fromJennifer E

1 starHere is a copy of an email that I sent to Kohl's This sums it up I am very disheartened at your policies and how your company cares so little about its customers. I ordered some clothes for myself using Kohl's cash as well as my own money. The bulk of my order was not able to be delivered by my local post office. They were unable to determine the address from the UPS smart scan. I had a chat online with an associate inquiring if the package is returned to your warehouse, if they were able to correct the information and resend the package. Customer satisfaction opportunity #1 missed. I was told that it was not possible to resend the package. However I could reorder the items. Missed opportunity #2. The associate could have reordered the items for the customer who has already been inconvenienced. Problem, one of the items (the one I really placed the order originally for) was no longer available. I was then told I had to wait for my refund until the package was received back to the warehouse and the refund could take up to 30 days to process. WHAT? ARE KIDDING ME? Missed opportunity #3. I was online with 3 different associates for over 2 hours. This was unacceptable. I have not heard of any other company using this policy. I will be reporting this to the Better Business Bureau. You require payment at the time of service. As you can see from the tracking number that my order is getting shipped back to the sender. It is unacceptable to hold my money for that amount of time. It is not the point to honor the same deals if it will take a month for me to be able to reorder them. Plus by the time I received my refund and Kohl's cash, the rest of the items that I previously ordered would be out of stock. I should not be out of pocket for even more money while I wait for my package to be received back, then an additional 30 days for me to be refunded.

1 starReceived Christmas presents from my sister who lives out of state. The items were too large so I returned them. They only allow store credit so the money went back to my sister's card and my kids did not get a present from their aunt. 1 starI bought the item on sale on Dec.29 on line. They kept my order in suspense for 3 days and canceled my order on January 1st when the sale was over! The item showed "available" on Dec. 29 and 30.I can't believe they can do that! That is so UNETHICAL!I wasted so much time on the phone with Kohls customer service. It's not worth my time! 1 starKOHL’S: Fayette GA, Pavilion. Bad experience, around 10:00AM (12/31/2022). December 27, 2022. I purchased a men shirt on sale $18.00 original price $36. December 31, I tried to exchange the shirt, Customer Service agent Toni told me I will get only $14.back’ I stated to Toni why when it’s still on sale for 14. and I just brought it about 3 days ago. She stated because I did not have my receipt and she don’t know if I brought it or not. I asked her are you saying I stole the shirt. I was hurt by Toni statement that I could have stolen the shirt. I advised Toni that I was a KOHL’S member, could she look it up that way and she did and saw that I did purchase the shirt with cash. About a month ago I purchased a pair of pants for $30. and KOHL’S gave me only $12. back. I asked to speak to the manger (Fred). Fred was very nasty and spoke to me in a demeaning way. Fred said to me as well as Toni that he doesn’t know if I purchased the shirt or not. I asked him as well do he think I stole the shirt. He said because I don’t have my receipt, I will only get $14. even if the shirt is still on sale for $18. The shirt was not $14. I believe that’s a way for KOHL’S to take money from you. The manager Fred was so nasty to me like I stole something even after he knew I brought the shirt and wanted to exchange it. He talked down to me in a nasty and demeanor way. When he left, he grabbed the shirt in a nasty demeanor way and told Toni thank you, like good job. He gave me a nasty demeanor look…In my 60 something years I never felt so bad. I come in KOHL’S about once a week because I always do my returns from Amazon at KOHL’S, and I always buy something. I will never do my returns from Amazon or shop there again. The manager Fred makes me feel unwonderful he gave me a look and talked to me in a way I will never forget! When I left, I felt so bad I felt like crying. You lost a custom; it may not matter to you. 1 starI had a ****** charge card for years. Never had a late payment. Then Covid hit, being in a high risk group, we did not shop for anything other than necessities for 2 1/2 years. We have since been in ****** several times in the last couple of months, the most recently being 12 days ago, but didn't find what we were looking for. Now I get a notice from credit monitoring that they cancelled my card! No notice whatsoever. I immediately called customer service to see if I could get it reinstated without a hard inquiry that would affect my excellent credit score, that I worked diligently to achieve and maintain, for 2 years. They didn't know, said to go on the website. So I went to the website and saw an option to prequalify based on a credit report that would not impact the score. I applied and was declined! I have maintained a high excellent rating of 836 or above (out of 850) for years. I constantly get offers for the best credit cards available with the most stringent requirements, but I'm refused a ******* ****** card? Unbelievable! 1 starI, like others, leaving feedback on the BBB left a review with Kohls.com and was informed it was moderated and would not be published. They said because I was mentioning shipping and fulfillment. Turns out they want to take zero responsibility for packaging their products poorly and as a result receiving several broken items. I ordered plates. They first time arrived in one bag. No bubble or styrofoam wrapping to protect the product. They resent me the same plates and again they all arrived broken. Again said they cannot control how the mail carrier handles the product. But who sends plates without extra packaging to protect the item? Just thrown all in one bag. Then I started receiving other plates, bowls and matching serving plates. 90% of it was all broken. I contacted customer service 3 times for a refund. They kept saying it was processing. Never a confirmation email from them after "processing" the refund. The product also was c*** They finally refunded me for about 20% of all the broken products, but informed I will not receive the rest of the refund.... again because they blame the mail carrier. I also was guarranteed an extension of their "Kohls Cash Earned" Still after 3 weeks do not see this. This company is turning into a joke. It's theft.
