1 starCompany falsely and deceptively placed items that were not on sale with items that are on sale. The wording on the signs are the same; only difference is that the one that states the brand not on sale is the only one without the 60% label attached to it. However, the brand is placed directly in the middle of other brands on sale deceiving the buyer into believing these items are in sale. There is nothing clearly stating this brand is not on sale. Brand is also classified as the same department as the other items on sale. Manager refused to accommodate their deceptive advertising. I filed a complaint with customer service as ************* was fully aware of the confusion but didnt care to move the items or offer anything to remedy the issue. Also, when I asked if the 800 customer service number was on the receipt I was told yes. It is not on the receipt.Review fromRebecca J

3 starsDecember 22, 2022 21:30-23:50 Timeframe Hello, I would like to contribute to addressing an encounter at ****** ******** **, **********. Location. Jewelry department:I asked for assistance to look at case items. Associate came to assist in pleasant acceptable way. Tried on a couple pairs of earrings in immediate vicinity of department. I had several gifts to buy. ***** minutes after looking another female associate assuming to be a supervisor, approached me in a VERY confrontational way. Was told "We are watching you on camera and the police have been" I asked immediately "for what! " Very confused and frustrated. Spent over $300 because of good sales.Though was completely disgusted in the way I was treated. I realize holiday season is overwhelming, although there was absolutely no reason to treat customers like this. Thank you for addressing this.Review fromSanannah T

1 starI have had 2 payment issues in the span of one year's time. In November 2021, I paid my bill using the Kohls app. I never carry a balance. I got a confirmation page and therefore assumed the transaction went through. A few days after the due date, I got an email stating that my payment was late. I immediately notified Kohls about it and made a payment by phone. They refused to acknowledge their app failure and I now have 1 slow pay on my otherwise perfect payment credit history. On Sunday, December 18th, 2022, I went to place a grocery order and discovered that my card declined. I checked my bank and discovered that Kohls had 2 pending payment transactions on my account. I had scheduled the first payment, but then got an email a few days before the due date stating that I needed to make a payment. The app did NOT show a payment pending, so to avoid another app payment failure, I scheduled a payment for the due date. This one showed on the app. While my credit limit is 1k, it now shows ***** credit limit. I notified the company requesting immediate refund and was told that the only thing they could do is send a check in TEN TO FOURTEEN BUSINESS DAYS. An error that took 10 seconds to process takes up to 14 days to correct? That's criminal! Users beware and check your fine print carefully.Review fromVirginia W.

1 starI left this review with Kohls.com and was told it was moderated and would not be published. So much for honest feedback on their site.Poor online ordering experience. Couldn't log into my account because the system was down, so I had to check out as a guest. Then they sent the wrong color and am given only option to return it online. No option to communicate with someone online to fix it so I had to go out to the store ********* **). Once at the store there was no clear directions to returns so I went up to the checkouts right by the front door. They were not busy 1 customer at check out and one just getting into line. As I walked through the door a cashier greeted me. I walked around the maze to get to checkout. There had been 3 employees discussing something and one checking out someone. I thought ah cool, np I will be in and out in no time. I was wrong. 1 of the 3 other employees that has been disusing something came over and opened a second line. BOTH cashiers were painfully slow and both started having issues with items ringing properly. It was only after standing ***** minutes waiting for them to finish at least 1 order, a manager came up to help them. As she came though glancing over at me with my package with shipping info on it she told me returns were in the back. So I go back to returns and the only thing they can do is return the item and reorder the right one since it isn't in stock at the store. Would be fine except it was a sale item and I have to pay full price for the reorder and if I want the price difference back I would have to wait for the full priced shoes to come in, then take them back to the store again for a refund and re-ring. I live 15 minuets from the store there is no way I am wasting all that gas because you couldn't send me the right shoes in the first place. I returned the shoes and wont be shopping there anymore.Review fromJessica B

1 starMy order from 11/3/22 was shorted an item and when I called I was told it's out of stock. Ok, fine. Asked them to please credit me for the out of stock product that they charged me for and was told the credit would post 7-10 business days. It took 3 more phone calls and a month to finally get credited. Placed another order 12/11/22 for 1 item. Shipping label was created and ready for UPS to pick up on 12/12/22 and it's now the 17th and still hasn't been picked up by UPS. After chatting with Kumar on the Kohl's app for 20 minutes and giving him all of the order info he ghosted me and stopped answering. *** is going on with Kohl's this year? Never in my 25 yrs of having their card and shopping with them have I ever had any of these issues. I'm done with this card and store after this.Review fromMichael L

1 starI purchased a pair of shoes off kohls.com on 12/17/22; I used kohls cash for this purchased. The shoes prices tag was 74.99, I had the kohls cash coupon which brought the total price down. I Went to check out and see kohls is charging me for shipping. So basically kohls is punishing customers for using coupons by tagging on shipping charges. No other company Ive done business with does this practice. If something costs above the free shipping mark and I use a coupon or online code that brings my total out the door price below the free shipping line, all other stores honor the original price tag before entering the coupon code. Kohls is the first retail store I have encountered that does not. I feel this is a bait and switch tactic that kohls needs to change. I wont be duped again.Review fromLisa B

1 starI ordered an item online with the help of an associate at the ************** store on Park St. on Dec 4, 2022. On Dec 16th I decided to see if it was delivered, it had not been delivered. The order said "waiting for carrier pickup" which was *** so I contacted Kohls via the chat and was told the item was not in stock at the time of ordering. Well, that was wrong because we used the item in the store to scan for a price and decided to have it delivered! After many attempts to get answers, Kohls asked for 48 hrs more to get the item delivered and gave me $20.00 off coupon. This item is a gift for my grandsons birthday, age 9, $20.00 won't make things better! Item delivered in a timely manner is what will make me happy.Review fromBrittany M.

1 starCalled to check about missing order that was to be delivered 1 week ago. It went missing on their end. They offered a replacement but said they will try and get it deliver by the 24th. Mind you these are Christmas gifts I ordered. I asked that these be expedited since it was their error. I was told it was not possible. So the First Lady spoke to said supervisor was sheila and was busy on a call and would call me right back. Hour later I called again because I got no call. Got who sounded exactly like the same lady I spoke to previously and told me same thing. Except she said there is no sheila (so gave me wrong supervisor info) I demanded a supervisor and was placed on hold for 25 mins just to try and resolve my problem. Finally got sup. Wency ***** and she sounded just like the last 2 people I spoke with. After threatening to call corporate they magically found a way to work it out. The customer service was so **** poor. So basically I can pay this company for expedited shipping. But they can’t offer it to fix and issue on their end. For being a Most valuable customer sure feels like they don’t give a **** ***. So completely disappointed with how they handled this situation and makes me want to cancel my credit card and never give them a dime again. Do better kohlsReview fromCrystal R

1 starI recently made a purchase from kohls.com and the advertisement was 30% off for using credit card plus an extra 20% off for online ordering. Now, I had to get an replacement card so customer service placed the order online for me. The 30% off was applied but not the 20% and when I asked to have it fixed, I was told to call back once I receive my order. I placed my order and complaint 12/2/2022, coupon expire 12/11/2022, estimated time of arrival for order 12/11/22-12/15/2022. I informed that agent of the above and was told that it can still be applied. I received my order 12/14/2022 and called 12/15/2022 and was told that both cannot be applied. FALSE ADVERTISEMENT!!!. Please order with caution. I would give them 0 stars if I could.
