      I have been shopping at Kohl’s in Cambridge blain Coon Rapids Minnetonka St. Louis Park Minnesota for over 15 years. I have also been a Capital One holder since 2002. I canceled my Capital One credit card because I had to one was a secured credit card and one was unsecured. I canceled the secured credit card a year ago went to apply in July for a Kohl’s credit card and was denied tried again 90 days later was denied and due to the fact that I had a capital one credit card and canceled it and that is what the reason is I did not know the capital one is the owner and the bank of Kohl’s department store and I don’t think this is fair and I don’t think this is right capital one credit card has nothing to do with Kohl’s. I have an 869 credit score all of my credit cards from target Best Buy , Barclay, and capital one are all paid off mind you my target card is over 15,000 credit limit my Best Buy is over 5000 credit limit Barkley is up to 7000 credit limit my capital one is only 1500 never once have I not paid my bills any of them. I have a car payment of a mini Cooper and that’s paid on time. My car insurance is paid on time. My rent is paid on time . My utilities are all paid. Never had my light shut up never been late on a car payment or credit card minimum payment I paid off the same day that I purchased stuff with it on all of my credit cards so to be denied from Kohl’s due to the fact that I canceled and closed and secured credit card of a credit limit of 500 I didn’t need to capital one credit cards that’s **** ********. I think it’s wrong and I’ll never shop at Kohl’s ever again.

      I placed an online order as I have in the past for $192. Today the payment was taken out of my bank account along with $550 in holding fees. I called customer service and talked with three different people who each said the holding fee was to ensure That there was enough in the account to cover the purchase. They still have the items I ordered and I have to wait until the items have been delivered to have the hold taken off the my checking account. Then it will be at least 7 days before action is taken. In the meantime I have to money from savings to cover the extra $550 that was withdrawn from my account. They could not explain why the holding fee was almost 3 times what the purchase was. They have the payment for the purchase and the merchandise plus the holding fee and I’m $750 in the hole. My next contact is the Attorney General’s office.

      I placed an order at almost 10 PM last night. Looked this morning, literally a few hours later, and they were offering a much better offer. Tried to cancel the order and reorder and they would not let me cancel. This is not a good way to do business with someone placing an $816 order.

      Racist/bias/prejudice location. I visited Kohls + Sephora, located in Deer Park, NY on Wednesday, 10/5/22 around 8:15pm. I decided to check out the Sephora, because, I was in need of a new eyebrow pencil. As I walked in, I was not greeted by the 'employee.' Initially, I had to take a second glance at this 'employee,' because, she was dressed terribly and looked like a zombie. Nevertheless, I HAD to be the one to approach her for help (red flag #1) Note, if you are an employee, you greet your customers and ask them if they need any help! Red flag#2: I asked the 'employee' where the section was for the eyebrow pencils, as she rolled her eyes and shrugged her shoulders (clearly she did not want to help) not sure why, but she then reluctantly showed me where the eyebrow pencils were --- as she is showing me the items, she proceeds to tell me: "Oh, you might be interested in the cheaper section, like our Sephora collection." Um, excuse me? What makes you think I would be interested in the cheaper section? Are you assuming people of color do not have money? Please note, I DID NOT ask this 'employee' for the cheaper section. I simply stated: "Money is not an object, I am not concerned about the price, I am looking for a specific brand, i.e. Anastasia or benefit." So, the issue I have with this 'employee,' is the fact she told me I would be interested in the cheaper section without me even asking! It was rude, VERY presumptuous and yet to mention unprofessional! For my people of color reading this review, you know what I what mean -- not being greeted when you walk into a store, people assuming you work at the store when you do not, people following you around thinking you will steal, etc. It just goes to show the level of ignorance at this location, it's 2022 people, please get it together! I will not return by any means necessary. Please educate your workers to NOT be racist/prejudice/bias against shoppers. Please forward this review to Kohls corporate.

      Customer service is horrible. Offshore employees can’t answer questions and refuse to transfer to someone state side or a supervisor. They keep placing you on hold hoping you give up. Called the corporate office and, no matter what time you call, “No one is available to take your call”. Really? NO ONE is available!? No surprise Kohls is in financial trouble. More important to use cheap offshore labor than to take care of customers. Cancelled my credit card.

      Pro's: Their phone service reps are wonderful. However, they can't do anything to rectify a Kohl's mistake other than "giving Kohl's cash." If my original order was screwed up, why would I want to order again? Pricing is great if you catch sales and discounts at EXACTLY the right time. Cons: Online ordering is possibly the worst I've ever experienced. Out of, maybe, 5 online orders, 3 have been shipped to the incorrect address. Part of the 'perks' of being a credit card customer is the free shipping. Well... Shipping is not free when Kohl's ships to the wrong address and merchandise has to then be shipped to the correct address. The only resolution ever offered: Return everything to the store (ummmm... why did I shop online in the 1st place??!!); get a credit; call the online customer service and have them reorder to retain pricing and discounts. Last time I did that half of the items I ordered were no longer available and, once you return an item, you cannot re-purchase that same item even though it's sitting in a bin right in front of you. I'm so very careful to ensure the 'shipping/billing address is the same' box is unchecked. In fact, you can't enter an alternate shipping address unless the box IS unchecked. I double check all information and, still, it ships to me. Kohl's should fix their web site, and reimburse shipping costs but they will not. The customer is ENTIRELY responsible for fixing any mistakes Kohl's makes. Too much time and effort.

      Made two orders online. For the second order was using points earned on the first one. None of the items worked. Returned EVERY SINGLE ITEM. Unfortunately, my refund was $25 less than what I paid. I was told that the rest would be Kohl's cash, which will expire in 30 days. I said that return policy states that return should be in the form of payment and I need full amount to be returned on my credit card as every single item in the order was returned. Refused to leave till full amount will be given to me. Finally, was given $25 cash. So frustrating. Kohl's ... Never ever again.

      they are ignorant and practice deceitfully. They do not listen I am trying to find out about a kohls purchase I made during or a little after, my mom was dying and we needed suits.. they told me I had to have the month of purchase, I did not., first you never kept a recept cause it was not required. I told them they were nuts, covid,mom dying , all of us getting it - I don't remember and on my statements they only have orders of internet no buys at store. Then she found 1 year that had no purchases. that was lost and that probably was when we bought the suits. But it could have been the year before. She said no one in customer service will look for it until I have a month purchased and I do not have access to that, they do or somebody over there does! I don't want to return it, I just want to file it away. and they lost it I think, I asked them fo the number of their legal department, but the would not give it to me, Please help. The worst customer experience I have ever had.

      The website is consistently broken. Not user friendly. It seems designed to confuse so people cannot pay their bill easily. Underhanded way to get late fees. Kohl's is *****
