    I've been buying bulbs and roots of many varieties from Holland Bulb Farms over the past 5 years or so, from daffodils to peonies to hyacinths to tulips. Everything I've bought from them has arrived on schedule, looked good on opening, and grown and flowered beautifully. My interactions with customer service have been limited since I haven't had any problems, but they were very responsive when I had a question. I will continue purchasing flowers for my garden from them in the future.

    1/2 of the plants this spring did not grow - so much for the time and effort of preparing, planting and watering.They gave me a gift certificate, so I ordered bulbs for this fall. The ground was freezing and it was too late to plant bulbs (again a failure that was their fault). I get another gift certificate.I am done with this company.I have gone back and forth requesting that instead of a gift certificate, a refund to the original payment method.One unhappy customer overwhelms their positive press. They should know better.

    Hello,Thank you for reaching out to us. I'm sorry you are not happy with the conditions of our policies. After reviewing your previous orders and communication with our company, I do see we did issue you a store credit for items that failed to grow from your Spring order. Per our Grow Guarantee listed on our website and also on the back of your packing slip, we do not issue refunds for items that fail to grow since there are numerous environmental factors that effect the success of the growth that are out of our control. We do issue the store credit and allow the customer to try the same item again or choose an item that *** be more suited for the environment. The credit does not expire and can be used at any time. After reviewing your Fall order, we were able to ship the order within the timeframe allowed to successfully plant in your area. You are able to plant any of the Fall items up until you can no longer dig a shovel into the ground. It does take at least 3 weeks of consistent below freezing temperatures for the ground to freeze. You did cancel the Fall shipment fearing it was too late although our representatives did review your weather and you did still have plenty of time to plant. The cancellation was processed and since you paid for the order with store credit, that is how you were refunded. Again the credit can be used at any time and as stated in our Grow Guarantee, we do not issue refunds for items that fail to grow. Again, I do apologize you are not happy with the conditions of our policy but we do have them available on our website at any time to view at any time during the order process. The credit has been issued and the refund was processed back to the original form of payment, the credit.

    I recently ordered 5 of the waxed Amaryllis bulbs from Holland Bulb Company for myself and my mom to enjoy during the holiday season. All are coming up and looking awesome! Great company and would highly recommend! They were the best value for the money. Bulbs arrived in a timely fashion, well wrapped and safe & sound. They carry a fabulous selection to choose from that was the hard part!

    Some of my bulbs arrive moldy and soggy. When I attempted to review the products on their website, they would not post the review, nor would they acknowledge my complaint. Some of the other bulbs did not grow. The bulbs and bare root plants that did grow were wonderful. I will not order from them again, there are plenty of other sites for bulbs/plants with better customer service.

    Holland Bulb Farms is my absolute go to for all my fall planted bulb needs. Im a bit particular about bulb size and health, especially when it comes to tulips. Every fall I purchase several hundred bulbs from Holland Bulb Farms and I have never been disappointed in Spring. One year I received a package of several hundred bulbs and there were a couple duds. Its bound to happen when purchasing the quantity I do. I took photos and the bulbs were quickly replaced at no cost. Highly recommend!

    I ordered the 1000 mixed tulips. I used these bulbs as cut flowers. They were both my earliest and latest blooms with large variety. Large amount of colors, started with multiple pinks, when to red yellow, orange, finished with French mixes. There were classic tulips, double tulips and French tulips mixed in. No disease noted on bulbs, great deal!

    I ordered Beth Evans Cordydalis from Holland Bulb Farm. They were little pieces of brown bulb like things. I wish I could describe better. I put them in the ground and didn’t expect much. Three years later, they are incredibly stunning, gorgeous and have spread out thru my shade garden. I am impressed and look forward to seeing them bloom every spring. This is one of my favorite plants in my garden. Thank you Holland Bulb Farm. Your plants are gorgeous.

    Ordered 4 daylilies August 4th of 2023. Did not receive them until October 25th 2023. 3 out of 4 were in poor condition. 1 of 4 was completely rotten. Contacted company. They sent replacement daylilies that were also rotten. Contacted company again they sent another replacement which was also rotten. Contacted company again and have not received a response back. Please do not order from this company.

    Thank you so much for reaching out to us. I'm sorry to hear the replacement order was also arrived in poor condition. After reviewing your previous contacts, I do see you did send images regarding your first replacement order at which time we did send another replacement to you. Unfortunately we don't see any contacts since then with images of the second replacement. I'm so sorry if we missed it. If you could please send those images again, once we receive them, we can go ahead and refund you for the one that was in poor condition. The images will also help us take a look at the quality of the remaining stock. Again, I do apologize one of the daylilies out of several was in poor condition. We do stand behind our products and offer a 100% Grow Guarantee which is why we did send the replacements twice. Once we do receive the image of the second replacment as stated in our Grow Guarantee, we would be more than happy to find a solution for that one as well.

    Always love to order bulbs from holland bulb farms . Bulbs are of great quality and delivered on time as they promise . Eagerly waiting for spring to see these wonderful blooms . Last year was a blockbuster in terms of blooms expecting a repeat this year as well .

    I haven't ordered that much from Holland Bulbs but did place an order for hostas and calladium about three years ago. Five of the six hostas did well, and are thriving here in California, they even bloomed this year!! The calladium didn't ever materialize above the ground, and when I contacted Customer Service was advised to wait a bit longer and then see. Not sure what happened as I did follow instructions and they were actually planted with the hostas which thrived. Eventually, the company gave me $7 in a gift certificate. I have read some of the less than stellar reviews below and want to encourage people to give them another chance and be patient. They are an online company and we all know these past few years have not been easy for any company, particularly small ones.
