I ordered 15 plants from this company. When they came they did not look very healthy. Two of the packages had nothing but peat moss in them. Still I planted them the first week of May. I waited for four weeks to call this company. Only 4 plants grew. I called customer service on a Monday left my name and number. No one called me back. On thursday I called again. This time I got a customer service agent. I explained the problem. She said she had to speak with upper management. She told me I had to wait 4 more weeks and if nothing sprouted to dig the plants up and take pictures. I tried to explain if nothing grew in 4 to 5 weeks another 4 weeks would do nothing. She said there was nothing she could do for me. I think this is poor customer service and not honoring their satisfaction guarantee. I will not do business with this company again.Holland Bulb Farms

During our peak season, it can take a few days to get back to our customer inquiries. We have a small team and call everyone back in the order the voicemails were received. I'm sorry if you were not called back in a timely manner, we certainly do the very best we can . I do apologize you had some concerns with the condition of the items that were delivered. We do state in our Grow Guarantee on our website and also on the back of your packing slip that if you have any concerns with condition upon arrival, we do ask you send images to our email within 5 business days so we can remedy the situation before the items are planted. If the condition was deemed well enough to still plant before the images were provided, we do ask you allow enough time for the roots to come out of dormancy. They need to set new roots first before they sprout. This process can ***********-8 weeks after planting. We are certainly happy to help if the items don't sprout but we do ask the roots are allowed enough time to sprout after planting. If after that time, please reach out and we can offer assistance then. I'm sorry 2 of the packages didn't contain a root. When you had reached out, you did mention you didn't remember what was missing. At that time we did also ask when items begin to sprout to send us images and we could identify what was growing and narrow down the possible missing items. Again, I apologize for your dissatisfaction. For future reference, if there are any missing items or items in poor condition, please reach out right away before planting so we can offer a solution more quickly.Review fromRosenna B

I have ordered the Victoria Falls Reblooming Bearded Iris, Breeders Mix Hardy Geranium, Stella D' Oro Daylily Jumbo Pack, Mixed Gladiolus Value Bag, Mixed Triumph Tulips, a large variety of lilies. I enjoy seeing them bloom every year and receive many compliments from friends and family. I had one issue that resulted in customer service refunding my money. I wanted to give it a 4.5 rating, but their system only allows whole numbers, so I ended up giving it a 5. I've ordered from them multiple times and have had great experiences overall. The bulbs and plants I received were mostly healthy, with just a few in pots not sprouting, possibly due to overwatering. On one occasion, I had an issue and reached out to the company, but unfortunately didn't get a refund or exchange, which is why I deducted half a star. Despite that, I'm really happy with the outcome of my plants and have been a loyal customer for four years now!Holland Bulb Farms

I have bought from this store on a regular basis since 2017 with mixed results but I have kept track of my planting and they have been very good at reimbursing or giving credit for the failures... Sometimes I think it's their suppliers that are not so reliable... But plants have become quite expensive and my garden budget being limited I rather take chances and try.Holland Bulb Farms

I purchased more than 15 different items, over 220 bulbs, and 8 of them grew and flowered. I called and spoke with a supervisor who informed me it was my yard or the way I planted them. I confirmed everything else in my yard grew and flowered as it should. They are giving me a credit for $300 to purchase more useless bulbs. I have ordered from more than 10 online companies, but this is the only one with 99.9% failure rate. Only one with ANY failure rate.KEEP YOUR MONEY AND SHOP ELSEWHEREHolland Bulb Farms

Hello,Thank you for reaching out to **. I do apologize the items didn't perform as expected this season. After reviewing your order, it is quite unusual to have this many items fail the same year. As mentioned by our customer service agent and the supervisor, we do state in our Grow Guarantee when items fail to grow, we will investigate as needed which *** mean submitting images. When an order this large fails to grow, we do try to ask questions and investigate more to try to determine what *** have caused so many items to not grow. Per our Grow Guarantee, which you can view at any time on our website and also on the back of your packing slip, when items fail to grow, we issue a store credit in the amount you spent on the items to try the same product again or choose to try items that *** be more suited to your climate. We do state that we do not issue refunds on failure to grow. If items arrive in good, viable condition, there are multiple factors outside of our control such as weather conditions, planting techniques, care and maintenance, etc that can cause the items to fail. For these reasons out of our control, we do not offer refunds. We do however, issue a store credit. I do apologize again your order failed to grow but as mentioned earlier, it's very unusual for this large of an order to fail which is why we did ask for a bit more information to help us resolve the concern. We did follow up with issuing the store credit which did equal the exact amount you paid for the items that failed. Ordered canna bulbs . I got 3 rhizomes. One had NO roots. Only one stem started growing out of one bulb and 1 stem out of the 2nd. Obviously nothing grew out of the one without roots. I contacted the company and got no response. Never again. I dont even have enough to plant in one pot.Holland Bulb Farms

Beware of end of season clearance items. I planted 4 bare root plants right after purchasing them, but it was the dormant period. The next spring none of them grew. The satisfaction guarantee was worthless due to the timing of notification. Excellent way to get rid of inventory thats about to expire, but also an excellent way to make sure you dont get repeat customers.Holland Bulb Farms

Although we do have a Clearance Sale at the end of each season, we do ship out when there is still plenty of time for the items to sprout. They may not bloom but you still should certainly see sprouts before our Grow Guarantee expires. If you do not see sprouts by the end of that first season, we are always happy to help find a solution. Unfortunately if we are not notified within the timeframe laid out in our Grow Guarantee on our website and also on the back of your packing slip, this does void the Guarantee. If an item fails to grow, we do take the time to try to investigate and figure out what may have caused the failure. This can only be done accurately during that first growing season which is why we do not extend it into following season. I do apologize for any misunderstanding. Absolutely the worst. My shipment was supposed to ship one month ago.. Be happy if you can get a rep on on the phone Seven phone calls and messages later they finally called me back. They dont answer they have an answering machine. Thank you for reaching out to us. I'm sorry to hear you were not satisfied with your experience but we do not appreciate accusations that any one of our team members uses drugs. That is absolutely not tolerated. When you placed the order, it was part of our Spring preorder sale. We ship when it's appropriate to plant in your zone and in the order they were received starting with orders placed in early September when our preorder sale began. For your zone, we do begin shipping in late March and early April but continue through until all preorders are shipped. Since you placed your order later during our preorder sale, it did end up shipping closer to mid-April due to the large volumes of orders placed before yours. We do apologize that we were not able to answer the phone when you contacted us. We are a family owned business and do our best to answer every call but during our peak season, we aren't able to get to every one. I do see you did call us twice, the first time we returned your call there was no answer and the second time we were able to talk to you regarding your order status. The tracking number provided to you was not bogus, after reviewing the tracking number you were provided over the phone as well as in an email sent to you when the package shipped, it will be delivered this Friday. I ordered some peonies and Tulip bulbs from this business last year. They listed when they would start sending things out but I had to wait a few months past that with no update on when I would get them and it was at the end of growing season when they finally came. The Tulip bulbs were not the best quality and were heavily bruised. They were supposed to be a mix of red, purple, and yellow tulips but only red ones came up and they look like a different style then what I ordered.Holland Bulb Farms

We do send out fresh product and need to make sure they are harvested at the correct time to ensure the best chance of successfully growing the following Spring. It did ship in plenty of time since Fall bulbs can be planted up until the ground is completely frozen which will take at least 3 full weeks of below zero temperatures. I'm sorry the tulips didn't grow as expected. The mixed packages can have several different varieties included which can bloom at different times in the Spring. You are also located in a colder climate so it may be a bit too early to see them all come up yet.
