      We received ours today after about 6 weeks and we LOVE it ! The craftsmanship is beautiful and it will certainly be a conversation piece in our home. We live on the mainland of the beach we requested and we were pleased to see our neighborhood and Marina in the map. Would order from this company again.

      Order on November 23rd, 2023. It is now July 1st, 2024. No order and no update on order. Have contacted the company several times to no avail.

      Great Product!!! It took some time but Sportsmans Connection kept me informed how the process was going and when my map would be completed. Well worth the wait!!!

      I order two wooden maps in November of 2023. I received one in January of 2024. The second has yet to be made or shipped as of 6/29/2024. It was a golf course they had not created before. I had some communication with them a couple times. The last correspondence said the item would ship April 8th if not sooner. Yet, we still do not have it. Now I have left email and voice messages and they have not responded since April. Both items were supposed to be Christmas gifts in 2023 and should have been completed in time per there website. Now, Ill be lucky if I ever receive my second item or a refund from them. They should get in trouble for posting inaccurate information on their website. They clearly cannot create products in the timeframe they publish. I am beyond frustrated with this company. Dont get scammed and buy anything from them!!

      8 months after placing an order for a custom wooden map, still no map. The must ship by date was today. Called, no response to voicemail again. No response to email. I cant say its a scam but DO NOT order from this company. BBB reviews are terrible and this is a pervasive problem. Its a small family run business but dont promise custom orders in 60 business days if you cant fill them in 8 months. Their phone greeting spends most of the message talking about how they are overwhelmed and how you should visit their Q&A in their website. Not good! When maps actually ship, reviews are great but they are outnumbered by the frustrated customers who get no product and no information. As a business owner, this is likely a staffing, leadership and delegation issue. They are likely making enough money that they dont care about the flood of negative reviews and customer complaints. Send your business to another family owned US business that is hungry and customer service oriented. I plan to dispute the charge with my credit card company.

      I placed an order with Sportsman’s Connection on June 3rd for a 30.5” x 45” map of Lake Hartwell. My intention was for it to be a Father’s Day gift for my husband but understood the production time was 2-3 weeks. Hoping it would fall closer to the 2 week mark, I called SCmaps on June 10th to inquire on the lead time of my order. Anthony, of SCmaps was incredibly helpful by telling me where my order was in the production line and that I should be seeing an update on my order towards the end of the following week. Sure enough, I recieved the email exactly when he predicted stating my order was shipped. Today I received my Lake Hartwell map. It’s absolutely beautiful. The map and its details are so much more pronounced than any picture could capture and the quality and craftsmanship is outstanding. Included in my order was a very personal and transparent letter stating the challenges SCmaps has endured over the months and measures taken to assure smooth sailing ahead. I applaud them for acknowledging with regret the frustrations some customers may have experienced and as a small business owner myself, we know our customers are what keeps us alive and thriving in a difficult market. Growing pains are difficult for small businesses and the beautiful products SCmaps produces will get them over such hurdles. To SCmaps…(if you read these reviews) Thank you for your communication throughout the process and even more for the creative craftsmanship you put into each map. I’m excited to give this to my husband tonight. The 3-4 week wait was well worth the wait!!

      I ordered a custom map on 12/5/2023 and was charged $309. Have still not received it as of 6/27/2024. I have tried to get a hold of them via email and phone and have yet to speak to someone live. At this point I just want my money back. They advertised that it would take 60-90 days for custom maps, but this has gotten ridiculous. I will not be recommending this company to anyone.

      My SC map was a gift from my daughter. There was a significant delay between ordering and receipt of the map, which frustrated her. The time was less if an issue for me,and the final product was worth the wait, beautiful and well crafted.

      Making these gifts worth the wait is big focus of ours, but we understand waiting is never fun so we're working diligently to improve the turnaround time of these products as well as our communication along the way.
