      Do not be fooled. Could I rate this company less than 1 star? Ordered in November, 2023. Promised it was getting done and would be very happy with the golf map I had ordered. Then a couple of months ago left message, email, etc. and have had no word. So disappointed. Do not know if they are in business or have snuck away in the night? Have wondered if this is a scam or they are just plain do not understand customer (non) service. If you will look up in the dictionary the phrase... Sorry *** Business, you will find Sportsman Connection. * **** *******.

      I placed an order on November 28th 2023. I have sent several update request. The first few months they responded within a few business days. I have emailed for an update and now a credit request 3 times since April 25th. To date I have not received any information on my order. Nor have I have received the product that was supposed to be a Christmas present. I understand these are custom products. But to stop responding is not good customer service.After not receiving this product for 3 months I placed an order through another company and received the completed order in less than a month.I would not suggest ordering from this company unless you want a delay in product and zero customer service. They took the payment right away and have not responded to a credit request either.

      As others have noted, I have never been more dissatisfied with customer No-service as I am with this company. Placed my order on 10 December 2023 fully understanding there could be a reasonably late delivery due to holiday volume. However, it’s now mid-May 2024 and no product delivery or tracking information. All follow-up calls go direct to their voicemail and my emails have not been answered. I can’t even cancel my order to get my money back. I am a very patient customer, but being ignored when I trusted this company with over $300 in payment is approaching criminal. As suggested by another post, I will be contacting my credit card company to attempt a refund.

      WARNING: Do not send money to this business. They do not deliver anything. I placed order ****** for $279.95 on December 12, 2023 and now, 6 months later, I still do not have the product despite multiple requests for updates and an indication dated 4/10/24 on my SCMAPS account that it is in production. Spend your money somewhere else.

      Ordered a wooden golf course map on Nov. 24, 2023. Still have not received and has been "In production" status for 2-3 months. Do not respond to emails or voicemails. No one available to talk to on phone. This is for a birthday. I thought 7 months in advance would be plenty of time. Wouldn't be surprised if I never received it.

      If I were rating them on their follow-through (at the end of the process), I'd give them 5 stars. If you asked me to rate them 1 month after I placed the order, the rating would be much worse. It seems clear that they were swamped with orders and couldn't keep up with demand. Like many others, I didn't receive timely responses to my inquiries about product status. When I filed a complaint with my credit card company, I finally heard from them. From that point on, they were very apologetic but responsive and followed through. While it took 3 months from when I placed my initial order, I received a beautiful custom map and am very pleased with the outcome. Please trust them. That being said, they MUST improve their communication. People are very understanding if you manage expectations properly.

      Do not waste your time or money! I placed an order in November as a Christmas gift. At that time I was told I would receive the map in mid-January. Six months have gone by, and the map is still not even in production. Each time I've contacted the company (IF I am able to get someone to answer the phone or call me back), I have been told the map was in different stages of production. One representative told me the map was ready and waiting to be shipped in March, then in May they told me it hadn't even been created yet. They also gave me several shipping dates that never came to pass including a "final shipping date" of April 29. It is now mid-May, and they still hadn't even begun production. I cancelled the order. I am not the only customer with this complaint; I wish I would've read reviews before I placed my order. This company is unreliable and dishonest.

      I ordered a lake map from them in late November, and after sifting through my junk email I found out that my order was updated to "in production" in mid April when they were advertising them to be Christmas gifts. These clowns do not deserve your money. Spend it on literally anything else, or better yet, just set it on fire. You'll get the same results only quicker.

      I would give Sportsman's Connection 5 stars based solely on our map because it turned out beautifully and there are so many details in this map that it's no wonder it takes awhile. However, I placed my order on December 3 and did not get it until May 10th. Per everything on the website and what I read online, we should have gotten our map within 6-8 weeks but that was not the case, and communication was very challenging at times. Calling their main number resulted in recorded messages, which made me think this business wasn't legitimate and they were hiding something. It wasn't until around April/May when their employees started doing damage control to all of the people who placed ordered and were waiting...and waiting...and waiting. With no real updates to share. I had to file a dispute with my credit card company to finally get some responses. However, when the map arrived, it was gorgeous. My only complaint is that they just be HONEST with the people placing orders and give them a realistic timeframe.

We do mean to list honest timelines, though, with custom work, it has proven difficult to apply a one-size-fits-all estimate for our buyers. Nonetheless, we have been pretty far off the **** and are working diligently to amend this as we continue to improve efficiencies and communications every step of the way. We never want to sacrifice the quality that has attracted so many to our products in a short amount of time so they can always be worth the wait. This work has been more challenging than anticipated, so has led to more maps than expected taking longer than we suggested to be the average wait time.We look forward to bringing these efforts from our team to fruition to improve the experience of all of our customers, both current and future. We owe a great deal to your patience and trust in our small company and thank you for choosing Sportsman's Connection for your custom engraved map.       This company is a joke. I purchased a wood golf map 11-21-23 and never received it. The company does not return phone calls. The company does not respond to emails. AND, they constantly say its in production. They should not be allowed to be in business anymore. They say a refund is coming but I honestly dont believe anything they say. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER
