      I confirmed my reservation a week in advance! I arrive to pick up vehicle/truck only to be told my reservation was canceled.they give me a 26 foot truck which is way to big for my move! I leave to lot and lights come on! I am less the 5 miles I call to let them know and the gentleman initial J told me to call roadside assistance. Theres nothing he can do after I only have the truck for less than 5 miles. I asked if I could bring it back and get my original what I had ordered he said no theres nothing he can do, call roadside assistance Here I am a single female about the journey across the country in a truck. Im not sure its safe.I asked if I could return it and he said there would be no refund was absolutely rude. Had no care in the world that I was a single person traveling across country All he could think of he made a sale . Uhaul does not care or have any concerned for the people or their customer. Absolutely shameful for a company to treat their customers this way Go to ****** rent from them if you can!

      To make a long story short, Uhaul is a terrible company to rent from. Please read the negative reviews, they are correct. Every since I've rented from Uhaul the experience has been a nightmare. They never offer compensation for none of there mistakes, just a headache with bad business practices. Try another rental company!

      U-HAUL ON WHITELANE IS THE WORST RACIST COMPANY EVER CAME AND STOLE MY U-HAUL BROKE UP ALL MY BELONGINGS THEN ACTED LIKE THEY DIDNT COME STEAL MY BELONGINGS HAD MY STUFF FOR TWO DAYS DID NOT NOTIFY ME THEY WERE COMING TO GET THE ***** LIED ABOUT TRYING to GET MONEY OFF MY CARD WHEN THERE WAS OVER $3500 on it called me and said they would extend rental but instead came and took the truck with all my belongings then used unprofessional language when I asked where my stuff was. VERY RACIST LOCATION I WAS NEVER NOTIFIED OF U-HAUL COMING TO PICK UP THE *****

      I paid cash for deposit and the drop off place didn't have cash to return my deposit. Now I wait 5 weeks to get a check in the mail. Very disappointed!

      U-Haul has devolved into a terrible company with terrible customer service. I was trying to book a 20' truck within 24 hours. First, the *** I spoke to on the phone, *****, acted like speaking was putting him out and every question I asked he barely responded with more than 3 words. He was not helpful or informative. He booked the wrong size truck for me. Next, when I went to pick up the truck, I learned this was a 24/7 truck share pick-up and the entire check in process took an hour because my phone's camera wasn't registering my documents. When I pulled up the chat bot - not sure if it was a real person - but ******* couldn't answer my question and kept saying the issue was my email address and asked me to go through the entire check in process again. When I told her that I was now late for my pick up and didn't have another hour to waste, she directed me to the local management office and oh, ******** was a real gem. After explaining to her that I couldn't afford to lose more time, and couldn't get to another location as we were already in a rural location and driving to another would have wasted another hour of my time, she abruptly cancelled my order and hung up on me. Never, ever will I ever use this company again. What a horrible experience.

      I reserved a truck online for Nov 8th. Picked up truck in *************** on memorial Pkwy to be dropped off in **********. Picked truck up paid for truck rental and at no time was I told there was a mileage limit and it only had 3/8 of a tank of gas. Had to go get fuel as soon as I left picking it up when it was dropped off my card was charged an additional 70 for mileage. No phone call or text no explanation just a charge. Did not state anything online about this either when I reserved truck. What a scam. Never ever use uhaul. I sent a response email to uhaul never heard back and I won't. Customers never forget c*** like this. U may get that extra money once but it will cost u in the long run.

      Hello *****. I apologize for any confusion with the rental charges. When you make your reservation online, the number of days and miles included with a one-way rental are listed on the page where you select the truck size, on the shopping cart page and on the rental contract. The contract also shows the fee for additional miles and/or days. As for the fuel, the trucks are dispatched with the return amount from the previous customer, and you only need to return it at the same level it was at the time of dispatch.       Im still waiting for a regional manager to get back to me for a contract that has SEVERAL incorrect information which causes them try to over charge me not only for days I didnt have the rental but for miles I didnt drive. Mind you the location manager will not fix it and insist he has spoken to me when Ive been trying to fix this issue for almost 3 weeks now.

      Never use this location if you actually need them to honor the dates you request. Only use this location if you dont care about your time. I had a hitch install scheduled for today at 330pm. I got an email from the location confirming my appointment the day prior. At 1pm on the day of the appointment, I get a text that the location is not able to do my install due to a family emergency. Now I will be out a few thousand bucks hiring movers and I will lose the deposit for the workers that were booked to help me load. This is not your typical U-Haul location where you get good service. This location is horrible and they do not care about your time.

      I rented a truck from this location U-Haul Gardena.. I moved 2 miles away from where I previously stayed.I made 3 trips and 1 trip to a storage unit I had in the the same city I was moving from.. I probably put 15 to 20 miles on the truck but I was charged for 300miles..The truck had just came in from an impound and was never updated in the system before it was rented out .. So I ended being responsible for the mileage..I called as instructed the following business day and never received a call back.I had to text the manager and he had not looked into the matter that was filed. He proceeded to ask questions that wouldve been answered had he just followed up with what was documented about the transaction..He ask me to call him after he did not call me back . I then ask him to call me after he looked at the report.. He proceeded to look at the report but failed to call me back..Its been over a week and I am awaiting a response from corporate ..I have been charged close to 400$ for miles I didnt drive.

      U Haul screwd me over this was back in June of 2024 this is October saying I owe then a extra ****** for something I do not owe they are over charging. I ask would there be any other charges they said no it would no ***** furious big time these companies are rip offs.
