      We reserved a truck in *************, the day before we were to pick up the truck, they call and tell us that we have to go to a town 30 miles away, ******* SD, to pick up the truck. The u haul manager that called was incredibly rude and unprofessional. Once we arrived there, he continued to be rude and unprofessional and the truck he gave us was dirty inside the cab and inside the box and the gas tank was empty. When we got to the gas station I noticed a tire looked low so I put air in it. After having to drive the truck more than 300 miles, we realize a headlight is out. So we have to take this truck to the ********** ************ location to have that repaired and the tire I had to put air in was completely flat. The ********** location had to do a full inspection of the truck, fix the issues. This entire experience with U Haul has been a nightmare. And we will never use U Haul again. We dont expect our money back and we realize that the U Haul corp office doesnt actually care about their customers but hopefully anyone reading this will be warned and use a different company.

      You pay for security there is ZERO security if I thought for a second my most valuable items in my entire life were not safe I wouldnt have rented this unit. Not only do they just shut off alarms when they go off but cut their own cameras when a unit is broken into as to not have to take blame for any theft on their property. Not only that I have received zero communication in 3 days on the fact that someone was in my unit multiple times stealing EVERYTHING I owned from anyone at this u-haul location

      U-Hauls customer service is a joke and they only care about taking peoples money. Their lack of communication and disorganization is infuriating. Never again will I use this awful company. What a waste of time and money.

      Over all uhaul ******* form the packers Ave was my best experience with u-haul ever I have had a few everyone was very helpful and friendly, I almost feel sad by leaving the storage unit, I am fully moved in to my new home

      I had a truck reserved at 6:30 this morning. I arrived at 6:50 and began checking in. The system began not liking my photos and then started toggling then timed out. I called and was told that my reservation was kicked out (whatever that means). I have now been on hold for over 30 minutes while my movers are angry at my uhaul storage unit. This company has gone down hill. When you check in the day before for storage and the night before for trucks that should be enough to let them know you still want and need what you ordered.

      The worst experience ever if I could I would give them zero star.Not with the truck but with their insurance that they offer.If you look at their website they clearly noted that insurance covers the truck in case of accident, the belongings in the truck in case of any damages and bodily ********* we had the trailer tire popped in highway and we called for replacement after waiting for an hour which is not bad someone showed up and replaced the tire and when we get to destination and unloading we noticed that the the fridge door and the fire pit been ********** I called their insurance for the claim they provided me with the claim number and after that I didn't receive any calls or emails for a week and finally I decided to call them and talk to adjuster that my claim been assigned to. After calling many times and sending many emails finally I was able to talk to my claim adjuster long story short they denied my claim for some nonsense reason as he explained that insurance covers in accident damages not movement and I said it is an accident because of the tire been exploded in highway but he just come with different excuses to just deny the ********'s just a scam you to charge you extra and not provide you the coverage.

      It has been 6 days since I have filed a dispute. I called after the first 72 business hours passed and was promised a call back in the next 24 hours. Nothing... ****** was nice, but did not help or promise a timeline on the call back. I've used Budget 3 times to move across the country for the military. This first experience with uhaul, it's trucks, services, and customer service has me wanting to go back to budget. The truck was absolutely filthy, the alignment was off, the cruise control would work intermittently and turn off by itself, the passenger caliper was leaking brake fluid potentially putting my life and all my belongings at risk, the load share I picked up was loaded tongue heavy causing the truck to consistently fishtail also putting my life at risk of a rollover. All of these problems in addition to the fact that the trucks are dangerously underpowered and do not have the brakes capable of stopping, for the amount of weight they're rated for. All these problems caused more stops in our trip slowing us down and missing timelines for our move in, the military, and the jobs we had lined up for a timely arrival. Unacceptable.

      U-Haul clearly states on their website that they will accept temporary driver licenses. They even encourage you to bring as multiple forms of identification to avoid issues when using a temporary license. This is not their actual policy that they follow. They will only accept current or expired license. There is no other option. They need to put the correct information on their site and not mislead customers. From my attempts to contact the company, they seem very ok with presenting the wrong information to customers and have no care about the plans they mess up,

      I reserved a truck and car hauler in ******************* on 7/24/24. On 7/29 I received a text notification to pick them up in ******* FL. On 7/30 I went to pick them up. After paying for them, I was told that they only had the truck not the car hauler. They advised that I should leave my car there and then drive the truck to ******* to pick up a car hauler, then drive back to ******* FL to pick up my car before driving it back to my home in ************************. The ladies in the office knew this was a ridiculous idea and they called their superior named ***** to help resolve the problem. He was unwilling to find a solution. So I just had the ladies refund my payment and cancel my reservation. I have made a complaint to U-Haul and they said I would contact me within three business days. No one ever contacted me.

      U Haul is definitely one of the worst companies Ive ever done business with. When I took delivery of the vehicle, I was never given a walk around, and I thought that was normal because its a moving truck that already had chipped paint and scratches. So, when I returned the truck the next day, I was told everything was okay that I only had to pay for the gas I didnt refill. Okay, that was fine. I got a call an hour later from U Haul telling me there was damage to the passenger tire. I disputed the claim telling them I never hit nor rubbed against anything. The person I was on the phone with said okay and theyll make a note. Today, I got charged $400 without any communication. U Haul never contacted me to let me know that they were moving forward with the damage claim or how much they were going to charge. As a consumer I felt taken advantage of.
