      Use PENSKE ONLY.I will NEVER use U-Haul again! Terrible company! Terrible service!Terrible not guaranteeing trucks!Terrible when their system goes down for an entire day and no reservation can be made!They found a truck an hour away and we would have to go pick it up during rush hour the next morning to meet our movers at 8 to be on time to meet our other moving company six hours away! I spent 10 hours trying to reserve a truck and still couldnt until 10:30 at night!. They still couldnt guarantee it! The next day they said we would have to go pick it up and pay for the extra day even though we couldnt use it until the next morning. There is no way to get the truck that early!Penske gave us 4 days for a little more and they guaranteed the truck! We now have our truck!Never ever use U-HAUL!

      I put in for a quote on the U-Haul website and received a call back to speak to a customer service representative. I told her how many rooms I have, the square footage, and the large pieces of furniture (and number of estimated boxes) I have that need to be packed into a U-Haul box. We have a strict deadline to be out of the house for it to be sold and us to move across the country. I was told that all my stuff would fit in two maybe three boxes. I decided to order three so she edited my online order to input the number of boxes and dates. When the movers arrived to move all my stuff into the U-Haul boxes, they told me I needed 5 boxes. I immediately called U-Haul and was told I couldnt get another box for over two weeks. Unfortunately this caused us to have to leave half of our furniture behind AND pay for someone to come pick it up so we could sell our house. I called U-Haul and explained the situation and that I was super upset due to being told by THEIR customer service representative that I only needed three boxes. I received a rude email back claiming they have no records of any phone calls coming to or from my phone numbertherefore no compensation would be made. I have records - I have a screenshot of all the calls I received over the last month from them to confirm my order. As a loyal customer, I am beyond upset as now I have to purchase half of my furniture when I reach my destination due to their error. And they claim I made the reservation completely online and that it was my fault for not getting enough boxes. I SPOKE TO A CUSTOMER SERVICE *** WHO TOLD ME THREE BOXES WOULD BE MORE THAN ENOUGH. At the end of the day, no responsibility was taken and I am out thousands of dollars. What a waste. NEVER using this company to move again.

      Do NOT use Uhauls Moving help! The movers were fine, but the U-HAUL CUSTOMER SUPPORT line/dept is HORRIBLE/RUDE., if you can even reach someone

      Reserved a truck with credit card info, was told everything was good to go. Went to pick up truck, the UHAUL it was supposed to be at, never heard of us or had our truck there. 6 locations in total did this to **. Called customer service & the person hung up the phone on me. I found the employees useless & unknowledgeable. Canceled my reservation & went elsewhere.

      We drove in from out of town with a reservation for a one way truck. The evening before pickup we were told to pick up at a different location. This was not a problem, but upon arrival our reserved truck was not available. Now, we are in town to move with no truck and will likely have to pay another month of rent. To make matters worse, there were a number of trucks/vans in the parking lot not in use, but we were told those werent able to be used for one way. Horrible experience- will never use U- Haul again.

      If I could leave less than 0 review I would. Picked up *********, Mi location worst store ever. Slow, unprofessional and disrespectful. Truck tie rod blew leaving me stranded for hours. Thankfully not roaring down highway. ******* in roadside assistance was disrespectful. Then they never planned a ride for me, wouldnt take their second truck because they are all s*** and not maintained. So much more and I used to rent regularly but no more will I ever use uhaul,

      A state to state rental. It never made it. Broke down in *******. Had to fight for hotel refund and to be paid and for unloading the broken truck and loading the replacement truck. They promised possibly partial refund but it never happened. Me renting a UHaul will never happen again.

      Sadly, You can not trust the ratings that UHAUL places on their used vehicles. I had to buy a 2008 **** E450 Box Van quickly and foolishly trusted their reputation to be honest but found a Company that makes a Used Car Salesman look like an honest ***. They cleaned up an engine oil leak and rated the engine at 5 stars. I asked about the box being water tight since it had not rained in a while and was told it didnt leak. First rain I found a simple leak to fix that any moron could repair with some Flex Paste as I did but clearly was too much for them to handle. Make sure you pay $1000-2000 less than asking price so you can repair the items they cant handle doing themselves. Go visit ****** actually is the better option Folks!!

      I am deeply disappointed and disgusted by U-Hauls recent decision whether intentional or negligent to rent a truck (AL35332 in ******) that was subsequently used by a known hate group. This incident has gained widespread attention on social media and reflects extremely poor judgment and a lack of accountability from your company.Allowing your equipment to be used in a manner that promotes division, intimidation, and hate is not just irresponsible its dangerous. Businesses, especially those with a national presence like U-Haul, have a responsibility to ensure their services are not weaponized by extremist groups.I urge U-Haul to take immediate steps to investigate how this rental occurred, implement stronger vetting procedures, and publicly distance itself from hate groups and any form of extremist activity. Silence on this issue is complicity.Until I see action, I will not be using or recommending your services. Do better.
