      My iphone 14 pro was stolen at the ******* facility while I was charging it. The next day at 7 am I told the manager the situation If we could review the footage from 7 pm the night before To 3am. Three hours after, nothing was done but an excuse of the security team would review footage and make a copy for the manager so she could review it and they would get back to me. Mind you they terminated contract . The next day nothing and the day after the answer was that there was nothing. I was in the office and watched the cameras that were shown and there were at least three security camera videos that could have seen a thief in the facility. There is also motion detection. So for someone stealing my iphone 14 pro I get my renal terminated And now U-Haul is trying to charge me for this rent and insurance. What I think they should do is give me ****** dollars to pay for my I phone because my iphone was priceless.

      I made a reservation through u-haul: a van and a storage unit. As I finished loading my van, and was bringing my items to my reserved unit i was told; they didnt have the unit for me as it wasnt cleaned. Renting out units that are Unclean during a pandemic is not only lazy, but a health risk. Since they werent able to honour the reservation I had to extend the van rental a day. However, they also booked my van for 30 minutes after I was supposed to return. Seeing as my stuff was still in the van, and with no unit, I couldnt honour the return of the van. I reserved another unit online and arrived the next day to store my items in it. When I arrived at the location they said the rented my unit already. Again, they did not honour the reservation. I ended having to rent out a more expensive unit. I also had to pay a late fee for the van.Furthermore, someone sideswiped the van as I was returning it, damaging the door on the side. I was on the hook, with no optional "$15 Insurance." On the hook for $3300 to repair the side doors.Overall, I found the experience to be very dirty, metaphorically, and literally, theyve proved to be dis-honest time and time again. Predatory in forcing me to pay for a more expensive unit and late fees (which they were responsible for). The person who rented the van after me, used it with the massive dent in the side door. I know for a fact that they did not properly clean/disenfect the van after I used it, I actually saw the next driver drive it out minutes after I returned it.Completely dis-honest & disgusting business practices

      I was basically punished because I only carry a debit card and not a credit card. I tried to rent a pickup truck and was told that I had to have a credit card to do so. I was told that I would have to rent a cargo van which was bigger than I needed and would also cost me $.30 more per mile. When I called to find out if this was really the policy I was told that it was and it was strict. Obviously, they don't care about losing business. They were once a good company to rent from. Not anymore. I will not go there for any more of their business.

      This was the absolute worst experience of my life. Horrible customer service. We received a truck to move out of state. Upon starting the truck it made the loudest noise. The rep never said a word and allowed us to drive it off the lot. We took 2 days to load the uhaul just to return it to get the tow dolly and have a rep inform us that the catalytic converter had been stolen off of the truck. We were told the “new guy” didn’t know and allowed us to take it as is. We were told we had to unload 2 days of work and load it into another uhaul. This put us an entire day behind our moving schedule. When asked for assistance to load our vehicle into the tow dolly, we were told “I don’t have the help” because other employees were on lunch. I fully intend on filing a complaint with the BBB as there was absolutely no compensation or assistance to us for this lack of inspection and error. Completely infuriating.

      I had to move furniture from one store to my home and I reserved a truck and the movers linked to Uhaul, thinking im killing two birds with one stone, well time was getting close and I had yet to hear from the movers linked to uhaul, well the moving company texted me to say that they should not be on Uhaul site and they are no longer subcontracted with u haul anymore. uhaul snatched $199 from my account to pay for mover that are no longer affiliated with them. I am stuck with loss of days pay and had to reschedule to pick up my furniture

      I brought in my newly purchased trailer hitch to be installed on my vehicle by Uhaul at ********************************************************************************. The attendant stated that because I did not by the hitch from Uhaul, that I would be charged $125/hr plus an addition 50%/hr (plus tax) due to installation of a 3rd party hitch. They said it may take 2.5 hours, however it only took one hour. When I went to pay, the owner and manager said that I was being charged for the full 2.5 hrs ($312.23). I stated that it only took one hour, so my expectation was for the cost to be $187.50 plus tax. The manager said that because it took three technicians to install the hitch, I will be charged the full 2.5 hr. amount. Rather than argue or make a scene, I chose to pay with credit card under protest. It was rather unfortunate because I have no issue with the installation, however the incident made me feel like I was duped. Very disappointed.

      Oh my God you had better check behind everything you do for making a reservation call back and recheck that they got exactly what you want make sure that you have taken a picture of your dashboard for the mileage and the gas I put gas in the vehicle upon return and topped it off with several more dollars prior to returning it and they still charged me $69 for gas plus the $47 I put in the tank okay they rented me a truck that should not have been on the road it's not Road worthy the windshield is cracked the shocks are bad you hit a bump and you bought the pop out the seat I would have for real if I didn't have on my seatbelt the is hard on a woman's body parts I can tell you that the alignment is off and to an addition when you let up the back part of the truck so you can take stuff in and out the door goes all the way up it doesn't stop we're supposed to it goes up within itself so you have to put your fingers up there and try to get a hold of latch resulting in cuts on my index fingers both of them and a cut on my upper left index finger so I spoke with the so-called general manager and he was nasty I asked a girl when I returned the vehicle does he need to see my gas receipts cuz I put gas in the car and don't want to be charged and do you know the charged me for the gas so that's over $100 very crooked at this U-Haul and just because this guy owns it doesn't mean that he doesn't have rules and regulations of the subcontractor on the U-Haul his behavior is Despicable he doesn't have any compassion for anybody and the whole process is designed took money from you. When I checked with the manager he said he was going to look into something and he did nothing and all he did was dispute or try to dispute everything I said was wrong putting the customer and a compromising position and then said he's not going to do a thing I would advise you use a U-Haul place elsewhere I wouldn't be bothered with this place

      This is the second time I have rented from the ******************************** in ** location. I came in on 1/21/22 @ 11:30 The staff is wonderful! I was extemly stressed out and ********************* helped me change my reservation that I messed up and got me exactly what I needed. They were kind, professional and fun at the same time! It may have seemed like an every day rental to them but to me they helped me so much more than they realize. I made it back safe without having to back up the trailer anywhere lol. Thank you for every thing KC!

      I am very displeased with the service that has been rendered to me by U-Haul for a U-Box. I reserve the box in September received it late the latter part of October all in 2020 and they picked the box up on the 30th of October in ******* to be delivered to ******* *****. I have not seen my belongings since then and this is the middle of January 2020. They kept one of my credit card numbers and put my account on auto pay and charge and amount totally different from what I was quoted and after the amount was corrected even though I still have not been able to access my box they changed the address on the account and send an invoice to a church in ************ stating that I was requesting assistance to pay for this u box. I was told that my box was at three different locations and now and when I found out where it is I can't get access to it because they're forklift is broken and they will not deliver it to the location that I requested for it to be delivered to and it is still at a location that I never requested for to go to. The staff at the location does not answer the phone they have lied about the box even after telling me that it was transferred to another location and that is not true. This has been an ongoing horrifying situation since October 2022 and I feel that they should refund my money. I would not recommend anyone renting a you box because you may never see your belongings again.
