I would give a negative star if I could. NIGHTMARE! The *** was not there when I arrived. Had to wait about 30 minutes for him. The blankets and dolly were not available (DID NOT GET THEM). When I returned the truck, still no *** to check the gas gauge and other items. I put the gas back to where it was when I picked up the truck. The truck was driven less than 20 miles. I'm a senior citizen so I didn't think about taking a picture of the gauge. My credit card was charged for the blankets, dolly and fuel and fuel service charge. The OVERCHARGE was $75.50. I have spent three days on the "chat" section trying to get this resolved. Finally got a refund of $12.60! Big whoop! FOR YOUR OWN FINANCIAL SAFETY, PLEASE RENT THE EQUIPMENT YOU NEED FROM ANYONE ELSE!U-Haul International Inc

Had a reservation that i wasnt guaranteed the timeframe do to Uhauls fault. Uhaul failed to give me the Reservation Guarantee after not meeting my reservation time i called multiple representatives and they all denied my guarantee instead wanted me to take a $20 voucher which i decline do better UhaulU-Haul International Inc

These people steal your money we should start a consumer class action lawsuit I have a storage unit and they had the wrong address and I didnt update it from January up until today the unit went up $50 a month and I never got a notice and have been charged excessive late fees even when they wont update my address this company commits a lot of fraudulent antics to overcharge customers the Manager at the office is intentionally charging me excessive fees and not calling me back like she is being told to and Im over it this is a classless company with no loyalty or character THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY AND IM GOING TO SUE IF I CAN ITS ABSURD TO THINK THIS IS OK!!! And everyone is saying the same thing that U-HAUL StealsU-Haul International Inc

I booked a trailer on the app. I picked my pick up location and drop off location. When I picked up the trailer at the store the guy confirmed my drop off location. Im here at my drop off location and i find out it no longer exists. Now i have to go several hours out of my way to drop off this trailer. I never would have rented it if i knew that was the case.U-Haul International Inc

I spent an hour on the Uhaul site trying to find a location near me to rent a pickup truck (not a cargo van or box truck) from for a weekend in June. I finally found a location that would work and completed the registration. I checked on every single page of the registration that a pickup truck was selected. Upon clicking "complete reservation," my confirmation email and my dashboard said that I'd be picking up a Cargo Van. I contacted the company and they told me "At this time we DO NOT have any pick up trucks avaialbe. We have 1 in the area as we moving away from them. Unfortunly that pick up truck is already on a reservation." I had them cancel my reservation immediately. This is clearly a bait and switch tactic and violates consumer protection laws. At least 4 local locations showed that pickup trucks were available at those locations for a 2 day rental that specific weekend. For only being 24, I have used Uhaul an exceptional amount of times. For the most part always great experiences.This time, I am getting out of a domestic violence situation & was homeless for over 14 days. With that said, the uhauls filled with all of my belongings were stuck it has been one of the most difficult situations of my life. Facing homelessness, losing my partner, caring for my children, all while dealing with the courts, fees, and left to clean up the rest of the ****** am NOT one to ever share my story or ask for handouts. Due to having to keep the Uhauls with all my childrens and my belongings, the only part of our old life we have, I racked up a pretty ***** ****.I went to U-Haul with all the supporting documents of my situation and asked them to help in any way, shape or form. Being a multimillion dollar company, I figured they would be able to at least lower my bill from $2000 given the situation and the reasoning behind having to keep their trucks a tad longer than anticipated.Their corporate office & this office lacks any business ******************** If you are a women going through any sort of hardship with domestic violence, know that this company does not care, nor understand when real life issues arise.U-Haul has lost all my respect & all of our business. Support a smaller company who, would have assisted in some sort of way, even without being a multimillion dollar corporation.- a loyal customer, lost.U-Haul International Inc

IF YOU'RE HERE IT'S PROBABLY TOO LATE ?? DO NOT GO THROUGH U-HAUL EVER! I WOULD NEVER TAKE TIME OUT OF MY LIFE TO COMPLAIN ABOUT BAD SERVICE/PRODUCTS BUT THIS TAKES THE CAKE. WORST EXPERIENCE IVE EVER HAD NOT ONLY FOR MOVING BUT EVER. IF YOU HAVE TO USE THEM I WOULD SAY BUY A GIFT CARD FOR THE AMOUNT YOU INTEND ON SPENDING AND LEAVE IT ON FILE SO THEY CANT CHARGE YOU MORE THAN THE AGREEMENT BC THEY WILL FOR SURE! The U-Haul website is the most misleading store site I have ever dealt with. I order tie down straps for my U-haul purchase thinking from the site that they would be at the store when I get the trailer. That was not case, now I received straps a week later after renting the trailer. I had to go get some straps from another business. The straps U-haul sent me in the mail was $35.97, the shipping cost more than my straps. The website makes you click through about 10 pages sales products and services just to rent a trailer, because they are constantly trying to trick you into a service that you do not need or asked for.
