You wouldn't expect a company like this to scam customers.. but there you are. I was given a credit report update notification, paid to run the report, got nothing new, then the runaround for 3 weeks to try and either get the information or a refund. Still no resolution, and judging by the other reviews on here, they don't care.

**Experians ***************** A Frustrating Experience with Their Family Account**I initially signed up for an Experian account without upgrading to a paid plan. After using their services for a while, I thought they were decent enough to recommend to my husband. He ended up paying for a family account, thinking it would be easy to add me under the same plan. But thats where the problems started. When my husband tried to add me to his family account, we ran into unexpected issues. We reached out to Experian multiple times, but getting in touch with them was a nightmare. The phone lines were constantly busy, and it would either disconnect automatically or leave us waiting for hours before finally connecting to a customer service representative. When we finally got through to customer service, they told us that in order to add me to my husbands family account, Id need to delete my existing account and create a new one. It sounded inconvenient but manageable, so they proceeded to delete my account. But even after that, I still couldnt be added to the family plan. We tried this whole process twice, yet my account somehow remained active, and we were back to square one.Meanwhile, my husband kept paying for the family plan, but hes been the only one able to use it. Its incredibly frustrating that Experian can't seem to get something so simple right. Their service is honestly a complete letdown!

I have been a member with experian for years. Today I discovered they have been fraudulently charging me for the past 4 months without my consent or knowledge. When I called not only was I rudely addressed. I was then reverted to report to my bank. ** they refused to do anything to rectify the situation. How is it were supposed to in trust our personal information to a company that can steal from you just the same? Should be ashamed of yourselves.

Ive been trying to contact experience for over a month. I keep getting their customer service online. Their suggestions do not help. I dont have a pin number which they are asking for, but I did give them my last four digits of my Social Security number and the street I grew up on. I need to get on Experian to check for fraud alerts. Please help me.

I purchased a membership in order for me to apply for an apartment unwillingly! It states that I could cancel my "Free" even though I was charged a $1. It also mentioned that I could cancel my 7 day "Free" membership at anytime afterwards my c.c would be charged $39 a month. I have absolutely no use for this service. In order to cancel my subscription I had to call them. They FAIL to NOTIFY you that it would be a B@#&H to get a hold of a representative to speak with. The automated phone system keeps REPEATING the same menu matter what extension push. I literally spent OVER 30 MINUTES WASTING MY TIME TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO GET A HOLD OF A REPRESENTATIVE! After desperately searching for an alternate number that was initially given online & 30 minutes later. I finally was able to speak with someone and OF COURSE as USUAL Experian's customer service is OUTSOURCED. It was VERY DIFFICULT trying to understand what he was saying!!! Also isn't it a RULE of THUMB that they would never ask for your SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBER? That was the first thing he asked me for. I refused and offered him my Experian acct number. He couldn't use that ********************** to look up my acct. He than asked me for my phone number. If that isn't a BIG RED FLAG I don't know what is!!! Period... ******

I'm signed up for a free subscription as I downgraded from the paid membership. They recently started trying to charge me the subscription fee again. I've tried calling their phone #s and the automated system just has me going in circles. I've sent written letters and still they keep trying to charge for something I clearly don't want. Fortunately, I've had my ********** reject the charge everytime it comes through. I DO NOT WANT THIS SERVICE! I have actually filed a complaint on here. If you continue to charge me for something that I clearly didn't sign up for, and the BBB can't get it resolved, I will file a complaint with my state attorney general's office. I know it's only $27 and technically I haven't been charged..but still..make it easier on your customers!!
