      I received these ****** ****** shoes on Friday, June 20th from a seller on Poshmark. I wore them the following day and within about an hour, the shoes felt strange and started to feel uneven. They kept feeling mushy-not sturdy. When I got home, I took them off to inspect them and there was powdery stuff leaking from the inside of the sole, I could squeeze the sole like they had deflated. They were completely unwearable after wearing them for a day. They looked immaculate on line and when I received them- nothing wrong was mentioned by the seller. If they had looked messed up, I would not have worn them. I asked for a refund and Poshmark said I wore them and ruined them. That I wore shoes even though they were messed up. They did not look messed up until after I wore them. I need help in order to get my money back. There is no way, me, the buyer, is protected here. There is no way to talk to anyone working there at Poshmark. They handle correspondence through email and when you ask them to please call you they dont- they dont tell you why and they ignore your issue. This is the 2nd time something like this has happened to me with this business. Is there a way the BBB can help or can you point me in the direction of someone who can? Thank you.

      Backpack was folded in half and placed in a box half the size of it and shipped. Description of item was new. Pictures do not show folded in half. Seller claims North face shipped to them that way which doesn't make sense. The backpack has approximately 1/4" thick hard plastic as the sewn in backing of the bag. This was bent backwards making an arch where there shouldn't be. This damaged the backing. They clearly knew they were misrepresenting the product either in picture or deciding to fold into a box that costs them less to ship. This is my 1st and last time ordering through them. I since bought the same backpack from ****** and it was shipped flat in plastic and in a big box. Would be much easier to return that one, but this is the one damaged. Absolutely absurd. I have provided pictures from the website with description as well as what it looks like when I took out of box. If it had said it has a bent backwards, Never would have purchased.

      To Whom It May Concern,I am filing this complaint due to an unfair transaction and lack of seller protection on Poshmarks platform (Order ID: ************************************* date: June 17, 2025 Item sold: Samsonite Inova Carry-on Luggage (20 inch)Expected earnings: $88 ?1. Subjective and unsupported return claim The buyer claimed the item had an odor not as described, but submitted no evidence or photos to support this claim. The luggage was accurately described, stored in a smoke-free, pet-free home, and was thoroughly inspected before shipment. I take pride in my listings and maintain high standards as a seller.?2. Returned item is visibly damaged Photos provided by the buyer during the return process clearly show new scratches and visible surface damage that were not present in my original listing photos. This item was returned to me in worse condition than I shipped it. It is unacceptable that I am now facing both a damaged return and loss of my $88 earnings, through no fault of my own.3. No proper seller recourse offered Poshmark approved the return without allowing me to provide a counterstatement or evidence. The buyers reason is subjective, unverifiable, and unfairly penalizes sellers who fulfill their duties honestly. The platform offers no effective appeal mechanism for sellers in such cases.?4.       Poshmark enacted a new policy to discourage relisting items. As part of this policy you are supposed to be able to delete listings that have sold on other platforms and relist items longer than 60 days old. I have only deleted items for this reason but they are threatening to suspend my account. This practice is illegal and has been reported to ***.

      05/27/25 $105.29 I placed an order with Poshmark for a last season Pottery barn table cloth on their website with the name: "NWT Potteru ****** Floral Block Print Oilcloth Outdoor Tablecloth. The description "Outdoor" refers to an acrylic coating (Oilcloth) that is applied to render the cotton fabric waterproof and for outdoor use. This is the Poshmark web listing: ********************************************************************************************************************************* .Poshmark's vendor @armroyalty sent me the wrong item which is the last season Pottery Barn "****** Floral Block Print Tablecloth" that is not the Oilcloth version. The design is the same, but lacks the acrylic coating that makes the tablecloth waterproof for outdoor use. This the original Pottery Barn web link to the plain tablecloth:***************************************************************** .I filed a return request upon receipt of the incorrect tablecloth on 06/14/25 stating that I had not received the item that I had ordered and that the unique material difference was not as described in the item detail on their web listing. On 06/16/25, Poshmark replied that "after further review, our team found that the item was not misrepresented". On the same day 06/16/25, I followed up with the attached email to Poshmark and have not received any response.

      On June 9th, I had purchased $300 *** *** sunglasses from a seller. Order #*****f04842dd45be66ba34f After the box was delivered to my home, I found no sunglasses in there. I reported the issue to **** and postmark. I took photos of the box before opening and after due to the weight being odd. After reporting the issue to the seller, they immediately tried to claim I was trying to defraud them. They even sent my shipping label along with a picture of the glasses they were supposed to send, however upon closer examination it was clear that the shipping label was a reprint, as there were printing errors not consistent with the label I received. Even after the clear evidence that the seller still had my sunglasses as they tried to fake the label, postmark decided to not refund me. Their claim was that because the weight on the label said 5 pounds, that something must have been in the box, failing to understand that sellers choose the weight for the labels, and it has nothing to do with what was actually inside. Besides, what sunglasses are 5 pounds? Im requesting my 300$ back from poshmark before I have to notify the news about this scam.

      Thank you for your reply. I understand and respect the need for security measures when potential issues arise. However, I find it unacceptable that my account has been placed under an "extended hold" without any communication, explanation, or timeframe provided especially after I made multiple support requests over the course of more than two months without any response.

      If Poshmark had legitimate security concerns about my account, the appropriate course of action would have been to contact me promptly with details and next steps not to silently withhold $1,918.80 in earned payouts while ignoring all of my inquiries. At no point was I notified of any investigation, nor was I asked to verify my identity, account activity, or any other relevant information. This lack of transparency and communication has caused both financial and emotional distress.

      I am requesting the following:
      1. A clear explanation of the specific security issue identified.

      2. An estimated timeline for the resolution and release of my funds.

       3. Immediate contact from a Poshmark representative who can provide consistent updates and transparency regarding this hold.

      I am more than willing to cooperate with any reasonable verification process to resolve this issue. However, I expect prompt, professional treatment and the release of my funds unless Poshmark can justify the hold with actionable, documented concerns.

      If this is not resolved within a reasonable timeframe, I will consider escalating this matter further through additional regulatory or legal channels.

      Poshmarks most recent reply is wholly inadequate and evasive. Saying that cases are handled on a case by case basis does not constitute a response it is a generic deflection that ignores every critical point I raised in this complaint.

      Let me be very clear: Poshmark has withheld $1,918.80 of my earnings for over two months without any formal notice, explanation, or request for verification. I have reached out multiple times four separate support inquiries and received absolutely no response until I was forced to file this BBB complaint.

      Now, instead of offering any actual information, Poshmark gives a copy-paste statement and still refuses to:

      1. Explain what the so-called security issue is.
      2. Provide a timeline for resolution.
      3. Put me in touch with a real person who can help.


      This is not a case-by-case issue this is a case of blatant negligence and possible violation of consumer protection laws. Under the Uniform Commercial Code (UCC) *****, payment for goods or services owed must be made within a reasonable time. Withholding earned funds without explanation or due process could also violate the ****************** Protection Act and ***************************** Transfer Act), which require transparent and timely processing of electronic payments.

      Furthermore, the ************************ Act (15 U.S.C. 45) prohibits unfair or deceptive acts or practices in commerce, which includes withholding funds without disclosure or justification.

      I am not going to wait silently any longer. If I do not receive:

      1.A specific explanation of what is being reviewed,

      2. A firm date for the release of my funds, or

      3. Direct communication from a real representative

      then I will immediately escalate this matter. That includes filing formal complaints with:

      The ************************ (***), citing unfair business practices under 15 U.S.C. 45.
      The ***************************************** for violations of consumer protection laws.
      The ************************************ (CFPB) under Regulation E for failure to process electronic payments properly.
      And, if necessary, initiating a small claims action against Poshmark, Inc. for the full amount withheld, plus damages and court costs.

      I am not the only seller facing these issues, and the repeated failure to treat users fairly is now bordering on systemic abuse.

      Enough is enough. Release my funds or justify your legal right to withhold them. I will not be ignored or brushed off by corporate boilerplate.

      I sold an item on Poshmark and the buyer washed to return the item because it was scratched even though it was New without tags. Poshmatk obviously sides with the buyer as always and decides that they don't want to return my item because supposedly it's "not authentic*. When I asked for proof showing why they feel it's not authentic I get some generic pre typed response reach time I ask for proof. This item was not over $500 so it doesn't go directly to posh HQ for authenticity, which is also a joke according to reddit and other posts on social media. In the past I have had items be removed for being "counterfeit" but then appealed and the listing was reinstated due to an error. Posh refuses to provide a reason showing the item was counterfeit and refuses to pay my $200 in earnings. They are allowing the buyer to keep the item(for "disposal") yet I can't have it returned to me. Seems a though they are allowing buyers to possess an item they feel is counterfeit, which is illegal on their end, yet they cannot provide me proof of this. I had this item listed on another platform that was able to approve the listing after reviewing the authenticity with the same images I had in my listing. I would like my. $200 from the earnings out into my account.

      I am rejecting this response because: I have not been able to have a conversation with a live posh mark *************** I only get messages that are copied and pasted into an email and sent to me. Every response is the same as the previous message. This is not acceptable for a business to treat it's customers this way especially when you are charging a 20% commission fee on each sale. No live support or a phone call from the business. I would like a live person to reach out to me.  I have responded to the message sent on 6/1225, twice and have not yet heard back from poshmark.

      Order 6843540a528015799ffc57f3 I was sent a broken damaged non working controller. Support denied my return request. Poshmarks rules state they guarantee a product will work. I was sent broken merchandise.

      When I received the shoes that I bought from Poshmark I opened the box and they smelled toxic. I took them outside and pulled them out of the box. The material had a film on them and they reeked of smoke. It burnt my eyes caused my sinuses to clog and I had to wash my hands to get the residue and smell off. Poshmark refused to let me return them they said odor is subjective. Odor is subjective but carcinogens are real and smoke deteriorates material.
