I was issued a check from this company and received it on 5/6/2024. I went to cash the check and discovered that it is only valid for 180 days and the check was ISSUED on 11/6/2023. After reading about this company online, its very clear they are holding checks and sending right before the 180 day **** in hopes that people will not ask for their checks to be reissued given the small amount of refund due per check. I have attempted to call and submit a reissue online with no response from the company.Business Response

I am a member of a class action lawsuit that this law firm was involved in and won, but I have not received my reimbursement check that the group was supposed to send out (others in my company both have and haven't received their check) and am unable to get in contact with anyone at ILYM group. I have requested a check reissue with a change of address on their website but still nothing. I started this process on 4/19/2024, I received a letter from the state which informed me that I was owed a check. Each time I call I receive different information regarding my check. I spoke with ***** on two occasions. She said that my request was received on 4/19/2024 and my check was maybe sent on 4/26/2024. They are in ****** and I am in ******* it takes 3 days through ***** I still have not received the check. I have tried to call everyday and at least leave a voicemail but I never receive a call back.Business Response

We're sorry to hear you have not received your check yet. I listened to the phone call you had with our representative when you called in on April 19th, they informed you that the process for the check to be reissued and delivered would take 2-3 weeks or sometimes longer. Then you called in and spoke with ***** on 4/26, she informed you that the check was just sent out and that it would take some time for it to arrive. The check re-issue was processed and printed on 4/26/24, and then it was put in with the batch of mail that went out on 4/29/24. It has been 2 weeks since we spoke with you the first time, and the check will be arriving soon as it was mailed out recently. Please be patient and allow the full 2-3 weeks we advised you of on the first call. If you have any questions, or if the check does not arrive by next Friday, the end of the 2-3 week estimated period, please let me know and I can re-issue your check with a tracking number. For now, we are at the mercy of the *********** as they have your check.

I was told the check was mailed on 4/26/2024. According to **** mail takes 3.5 days to deliver from ****** to *******. *** been taking detailed notes as well as asking specific questions to each representative that I speak with. The other issue is the phone calls are being recorded without knowledge. I specifically asked ***** if the check was mailed on 4/26 she stated yes. I asked how the check was mailed and she stated through ****. Please do not lie as to what your representative has said. This company was in charge of a settlement check. I did not receive the first one and after spamming their phone for days(hours straight at a time) I finally got ahold of someone and they said it should be delivered within 2-4 weeks. When that time came I called again and was told it was mailed and should be in within 2-4 weeks (mail only takes 3-5) after those 4 weeks go by I called again and now a new check is reissued but based off not just the reviews but my coworker as well that there are hundreds if not thousands of us still missing checks from them. I was awarded a class action settlement re: *********** vs Southwest Patrol. I've left 2 telephonic messages as well as 2 messages using their "Contact Us" app. on their website. I received a letter from California ************************* references money owed to me by a company I previously worked for. In order to collect owed funds I needed to call Ilym for the funds owed. I have called several times and left messages. I was entitled to a pay out of $1000 regarding a class action lawsuit against my former employer ********************** I received a packet with documents that were required to be signed and returned. I called their office as soon as I got the packet to clarify where the packet could be emailed. After waiting on hold an extended amount of time, I was told by a representative that I could email it to ********************************** I have attached proof of the documents being sent over along with me requesting that they acknowledge my paperwork was received.It has been radio silence ever since.
