Horrible customer service. Knocked down a tree. Told me buy a chainsaw and cut it up. I’m 70 and couldn’t do it. Told they were working on it. Three weeks later a tree sits in my new yard and told to take care of it myself. PS… my 92 y/o mother helped moved what they term a branch from my driveway. As of 10/28/22, The damage being reported to the tree was resolved for **************** by having it cut and removed from the property. **************** had all appropriate contact information for any further questions regarding her claim. Details Pods storage complaint Note: every statement in my claim has video, written, or audio recorded evidence that supports it…. I believe that pods storage in Colorado Springs discriminated against me due to my gender identity and I also believe that an act of fraud was committed and active theft was committed which I have become a victim of…. My name is ******* ********, aka ******* ******** I’m a transgender woman whom identifies as such for the last 2 years. I am a small business owner and I own a company that specializes in purchasing storage lockers at auction that are on lien and selling the contents locally and online I purchased locker number *********** on the date of 9-22-2022 and paid for this locker on 9-24 as well as scheduled an appointment with somebody on site for the following … i paid 135$ by card on the phone for the unit and a 7% fee of that total to storage treasures as well as a $100 cash deposit to the facility on site…. My experience at pods storage facility on mark Dabling in Colorado springs was absolutely awful…. Not only did they waste my time with ridiculous stahl tactics , but their overall rudeness, and Complete disrespect and lack of customer service.. Forcing me to leave to gain a Wi-Fi signal to provide them with an invoice, which they already have via ********************… Upon gaining entry to the pod I noticed prior to the door opening that it is not secured there’s no security seal there’s no security tag there’s no tamper proof lock on there there’s no lock on it. The contents inside were obviously tampered with after my purchase and I’ve been stonewalled and ignored at every turn … this is a huge problem which will soon become a matter for the policePODS Moving & Storage

All I can say is wow, not in a pleasant way. I will never use PODS again. In my initial booking call, I asked about having the unit for a few extra days since I read that PODS usually doesn't prorate months. The rep assured me there would not be a charge for the few days. Unbeknownst to me, I was charged $309.60 for August, the month/charge that the rep said would not be a problem. After numerous phone calls, I connected to someone that could help. They were great and got the review process started, but weeks later I heard back from one of their Customer Advocacy Specialists denying my request, however, their response described a different situation and didn't make any sense. I got on the phone again with a rep that was also confused by the Customer Advocacy Specialist's response. Again, we filled out a review process form, and this time the local franchise denied my request prompting me to call them again! Finally, I got an email today about them giving me $299 back, but said: "there was no PODs error, as a one-time courtesy and goodwill gesture we have received approval to refund back to you (the monthly rental)." I then responded by asking for the full amount of $309.60, but the Customer Resolutions Specialist said that it wasn't possible and "Please remember that there was No PODS error in this matter, I only provided the compensation as a one-time courtesy – a goodwill gesture. PODS incident #******* Is now closed. Thank you for your time." What a customer-centric response! At this point I am dumbfounded, exhausted, down $10 (still waiting for the $299), and never going to get the hours I've wasted on the phone with this company. IF you use this company, get everything in writing. Their word and review process should not be trusted.PODS Moving & Storage

I am in receipt of your correspondence concerning PODS customer, **** *****. One of our PODS advocates addressed Mr. *****’s concerns through an account review resulting in a customer satisfaction credit refund which was processed on October 10th, 2022. In addition to the original refund we have also provided a customer satisfaction credit refund for the container protection fee, which is currently in process, in order to meet Mr. *****’s full amount of his refund request.

This company has been nothing but a MISERABLE HEADACHE for me since the beginning. They have charged me over $5000 for 6 months of moving and storage from ******** to *******, and they keep cancelling my delivery of my belongings! They are great about taking my money, but are not releasing or delivering my belongings! I have been fighting with them for over a week to schedule the delivery, and they keep canceling it for NO REASON and moving it further and further out so they can charge me more money! I cannot warn you enough to STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!! It may look like a super convenient and cost saving way to move, but by the time all the contracts are signed, you will end up paying them so much more than they initially quote you, and then keep pushing your delivery date out so they can continue to charge you more money! I submitted multiple requests to speak to a supervisor, all of which went unresponded to. Every time I called and demanded to hold until a supervisor picked up the phone, I was on hold for over an hour and then hung up on. I can't stress this enough, THIS COMPANY WILL RIP YOU OFF AND LAUGH AT YOU WHILE THEY ARE DOING IT. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! And any BS that comes out of their mouths about valuing their customers is just that, BS!!!PODS Moving & Storage

The company had offered a refund for one of the four complaints I had made against them, and said that the other three were still under review. That was several weeks ago, and I still have not received a response. So at this time, I would consider my complaints still largely unresolved as three of my four complaints have not been resolved, and the amount I requested as appropriate restitution of $1,100.00 has not been satisfied, they have issued an underwhelming $300.00 and said I would be receiving a response on the rest of my complaints shortly, which has not happened. I don't know what form of customer service or value they think this is, but that DEFINITELY IS NOT IT. And you definitely don't pride yourself on quality customer service since even the person who was calling to tell me about this measly restitution had a horrible attitude and made no effort to make any decent apology on your company's behalf for all of the mishaps and headaches, both financial and literal, that I had to deal with in dealing with you. Extremely Disappointed. The Pods delivery truck showed up hours late to our delivery window. Then we discovered that several items in the pod had been broken, and mold growing on them. We notified pods within 24 hours and were told a representative would reach out within 72 hours. We had to call almost every day for weeks before getting an email asking for documentation. Following no email responses, I started calling again and was told by a pods employee that the claim was closed without an explanation. On the call, she then said, "honestly, she would recommend giving up."PODS Moving & Storage

Drivers were fantastic. Ordered 2 pods, Called for them to be picked up and delivered to our new address for Tuesday 9/20/2022 the week before. Was closing on our old house on Wednesday 9/21/2022, Got concerned on Tuesday around mid day, called and found out "Kevin" evidently did not put the pickup in the system, after a long run around I asked for a supervisor Was finally connected with "Manny", who finally said that they would be picked up by 10pm that night. Was told that Friday would be the earliest date if they couldnt get to it. Closed on Wednesday and pods were still there, more double talk and run around, again on Thursday, Friday morning driver (Adam) calls to say that he was there to pick up and take their container back, I advised him it was to be delivered to our new address, he was surprised. Adam was great, he dropped it off as requested. Come to find out, they were not picking up POD #2, No record of it being picked up. Spoke with another supervisor "Kareena?" Who said the earliestpick up would be Saturday. This company is literally the worst experience I have ever experienced in my life. As a full time REALTOR, you can bet I will dissuade any of my clients from using this company. Trying to get hold of someone at corporate is a joke. 1 starUsed PODS Company to relocate for one state to another. Upon agreeing to their service, PODS took my information and told me that within 2 weeks the pods would be delivered the closest facility in my destination area I gave them the destination zip code at the time of ordering the containers. Tightness in the housing market caused my plans to change as I continued to pay my monthly charges (on time). 4 months down the road I notified PODS to place my containers and was informed that the containers had been stored at the origination yard. Order to move units was placed and was told that they would be at the destination yard no later than a Saturday. Calling prior to the scheduled date, the CSR told me the pods had arrived, I scheduled the pods placement for Monday. Monday the location texted that the pods had not arrived. Calling the CSR group to question this, they stated weather issues. Questioning this response, they then changed their story to mechanical issues and was informed that it would be another 6 days before the truck would arrive. Asked if they could send a replacement to bring the trailer? I was told that is not going to happen and that was final, reasoning policies and procedures. PODS does not have problem solving capabilities, their only response is "I'm sorry, nothing I can do". Concerns are not addressed. I have only received one call and basically I was told the CSR would register the paperwork to start a process for the PODS group to evaluate. Asking to speak with a decision maker, they tell me I would have to call the 800 number and ask to speak with a nameless person, complete bureaucracy. Not being able to track a truck in this day and age is practically incompetency. Unless this company goes through major restructuring, I would advise using another company for your moving needs. Every employee or franchise group working for PODS seems unwilling to speak up and solve these "policy and procedure" problems.Review fromChristina M

Dont ever use PODS! I wish I had gone on this website before I used them. Everything everybody else has experienced with them, I have as well. They cancelled two of my pods the day before they were supposed to be delivered. They did not call, they did not send an email. I had to bring the movers back for another day of packing and moving my things into the pods which cost me an additional $2,500. To add insult to injury, the reason I initially went with PODS is that they were running a promotion that gave me free initial delivery which they did not give me. The customer service rep asked me if I had moved my date of delivery, which he said was the reason the promotion did not carry over! This company is corrupt and tries to ***** their customers any way they can and you are beholden to them since they have your things. Never use them. I cant stress this enough! We were promised a call back from a supervisor numerous times but no one ever called. We put a claim in for the extra money we had to pay for not getting our PODS in time and got back a generic email saying our request was denied. No one ever called. The company does not care about their customers or how bad their service is. I dont understand how a company this bad can stay in business. They should be investigated for their practices and put out of business. Where are the consumer advocates!!PODS Moving & Storage

1 starIts a shame that I cant go to negative stars.Lets starts by saying they scheduled a delivery and never delivered it, as we wasted a whole day waiting for it. Then, we spoke to 7 agents who promised they would get back to us, if not today, then definitely by 11am tomorrow!. Just a stall tactic. My husband was on the phone with an 8th agent, who was setting up a delivery date for our pod to be delivered, at the SAME TIME that I was on the phone with Alex, who was telling me that our POD was damaged! They dont even have inter-office communications. You would think that there would be a hundred notes in the computer that every agent could read so they would know what was going on.Then, we had to drive 5-1/2 hours each way to go to the facility on Long Island where the damaged pod was so that we could examine everything as they opened the pod. We were told by Alex that they would reimburse us for fuel and hotel expense, but he has not answered any of the 3 emails I sent, not only asking for reimbursement, but also information relative to our communication with them(no surprise there).Also,they charged us for the first month that we should have had the pod, but didnt due to their negligence, and they charged us twice for the month after! The insurance company paid THEIR estimate for the value of your property (some of which is irreplaceable, so where did they get the figure for that) MINUS depreciation! There is no possible way to replace items that cost more than the depreciated value (obviously). But, no worries, said Alex. He told us to send the receipts as we replaced the items. He hasnt even reimbursed us for gas and hotel, so why would I expect that hes going to reimburse us for anything? This company owes us $4200, total.We intended to take every path to be reimbursed. With a lawyer in the family and several family members working in the courts within the jurisdiction where this occurred, we have plenty of knowledgeable people to guide us.Review fromAili B

1 starVery disappointed that a week before my move Pods sent me information on the dimensions of their Pod delivery truck which was so large that it couldnt fit through the base of my driveway without possible damage to structures on either side.I couldnt get a permit for them to park on the street in time so I had to cancel them and then scramble to find a new moving company.Then their preferred loading and unloading company (***********) charged me $198 (two cancellation fees one for loading and one for unloading) even though unloading was 5 weeks away.I had to pay both extra for the new loving company plus the cancellation fees as a result of Pods sales negligence. Not ok, Pods. Please do better.
