I ordered delivery of Pods storage, to be delivered on 8/26/2022. I specifically made a point to tell them where to put the unit . They delivered the unit on the 26th but put it in front on a tree on the wrong side of the driveway and did no leave the lock I paid for. I contacted Pods **************** and the gentleman was very helpful, and supposedly issued a credit for $100 dollars and $16 dollars for the lock I didnt receive. Thats was on 8/26/2022 and I havent seen the credit at all. I was told on the day scheduled for pickup that they would contact me when they were on their was. I received no phones call ever. On 9/1/2022 we were charged $414 dollars on top of the 350, we were initially charged and I counted customer service, and was told I would be issued a credit for the $414 and that the $116 was in the works to be credited as well. On 9/8/2022 i contacted ****** in customer service to find out where the unit was located and what about the credit that has never been issued. She proceeded to tell me that we changed the delivery of our container to 8/27/2022, which was incorrect , my son came home from college on 8/26/2022 and watched it be delivered, along with my in-laws and 3 neighbors. So they voided the initial 350, we agreed on and was charged the 414 and there was no record of the credit from the beginning. I asked to speak to a manager and was not allowed to speak with a anyone, in fact ****** repeatedly asked me what I wanted to say to the manager, and she told me she would put in a complaint and have a supervisor contact me. She still wouldnt tell me where my storage was located. I want to be insured that my property will be in tact and that they will make good on fixing these issues before the delivery. I am still waiting on a response from a member of management.PODS Moving & Storage

1 starPODS is the worst company. They have zero solutions to the problems that they create. For as expensive as this service is, they have terrible customer service. The pick up and drop off was okay. But then they changed their timeline from 4 days to TWO weeks. How can someone pack 99% of their life for it to be held hostage? Zero solutions offered except "these are union truck drivers and they only take what they want" TERRIBLE!Review fromCourtney A.

1 starThey cancelled my mother in laws pod delivery without telling her! I called to help her since she is over 60-years-old and was very distraught. Instead of helping, I was hung up on 3 times! They refused to give me a reason for the cancellation and refused to tell me where her pod was located! I finally got to speak to a woman who was semi-helpful and told me the name of the POD associate that cancelled her order and she gave me the address of the place my mother in laws POD is located. BUT the location IS CLOSED and doesn't reopen until Monday. So now my mother in law and father in law (who are over 60-years-old) have no bed to sleep on tonight. We have to book them ANOTHER hotel room until we can get another Uhaul to move them from the POD at the Warehouse to the truck and the truck to the condo. So our purchase to have their belongings delivered is now costing us almost DOUBLE! Can't wait to fight them in court!!Review fromDonald H

Easy to use storage. Drivers were great. Billing and customer service a mess. Double billing Not knowing they picked up The pod Was told by customer service representative that he cannot transfer me to a Supervisor. That they are just a call center?PODS Moving & Storage

We utilized pods services starting in May of 2022.
On the day our containers were to be delivered, we discovered they were attempting to deliver to an incorrect address 2 hours away - a zip code error made by the original pods agent caused this. Our container delivery was then delayed by 3 days, and a "new" quote was generated now $1,500 higher. I requested they honor the original quote since it was their error. Over the next few weeks several different contacts assured me in writing that I wouldn't be charged the higher quote. I of course was overcharged $1,445. Several different contacts at pods assured me following our services, in writing that I'd be refunded in a particular amount of days. Now after contacting our provided resolutions person via email 15 times over the last three months, I continue to only receive out of office messages. When I call via phone, I'm told only this person can handle my pricing request and it's something that takes months due to the demand. I've never been refunded my $1445, as promised. Is this how pods prefers to do "good" business?PODS Moving & Storage

1 starPick up was great. Once they got all of the money for moving across the country they incorrectly scheduled us didn't help schedule the correct dates. Then are giving us less than two days to unload everything ourselves otherwise we get charged another month during the week while we are working. There are no managers to talk to no one who can help you and no one returns calls you're stuck talking to the associate who schedules things. They refused to offer any sort of refund for plane tickets as we are flying out to unload... May or may not be able to pick up if I can get them to change the date for the next month so we would be charge an additional month storage of $300 for their error.....Review fromJamie L.

1 starI received a quote for delivery, storage, and delivery to our new home. The monthly storage rate was $229/month. I set the payments to autopay and began being charged $299/month. When I called to ask about the discrepancy, I was told there is a difference between in storage locations which affects pricing. The difference and pricing was not given in the quote, so PODS gave the lowest price to mislead me into choosing its company. PODS never updated me on any increase in price that varied from the quote; I just found out about it when I checked my bill. PODS changed the biling/quote after it already had my business, which makes it difficult to switch to another company. I would assume that is the business strategy.
I also had a bad experience with the online chat option through customer service, who was unknowledgeable and pushy throughout the conversation.Review fromJeff H

Very unsatisfying experience. Initial pickup was fine. Online tracking system was inaccurate and customer service provided conflicting/unsatisfactory answers about the location of my stuff. The POD was handled roughly in transit and contents were damagedfine, my fault, should have packed better. The POD frame made multiple deep gouges in my driveway both at the time of delivery and then again at the time of pickup. Of note, this was a pristine two-year-old driveway that had survived two years of heavy use including parking of a large boat trailer without sustaining any damage.
I made a claim with PODS and they stiff-armed it. Literally blamed me for telling them to put the POD on the driveway (where else was it supposed to go?) and pointing at their absurdly broadly written agreement which shields them from liability for anything short of criminal intent. Needless to say these agreements are written by lawyers and who even knows if they are enforceable.
Throughout the process I was treated with callousness and disrespect. There was never even any expression of sympathy for the damage they caused to my new house before I even moved in.
Maybe if your customers are dissatisfied, you should listen to their complaints and try to make them happy instead of beating them over the head with legalese. It wouldn't have cost much to make this right by me, but instead they chose the low road.
Would not recommend under any circumstances. Would use **** instead.PODS Moving & Storage

This response tells you basically everything you need to know about this company and its attitude towards dissatisfied customers. Throughout this entire process nobody ever apologized for the damage to the driveway or even acknowledged that I might be unhappy about what happened. Instead they hide behind their rental agreement and blame me for the damage to my property.

The driveway was in heavy use for two or three years by multiple vehicles including a boat trailer without so much as a scratch, and PODS shows up and damages it both on drop off and pick up. Regardless of what PODS' lawyers might or might not write in their agreement, don't you think it is reasonable to expect that an average driveway shouldn't be damaged by an average delivery?
And would you like to do business with someone who hides behind their service agreement and blames you when you're unhappy with your experience? And againnever even so much as an apology from them. Take your business elsewhere. I moved other items in a UBox during this same period of time and had none of these problems.Review fromKatrina A

I am so disappointed in PODS! I trusted them to bring me a pod, remove it and bring it back undamaged. Me and my children put our things in storage and when we got the *** back it was very damaged with holes and crashed marks to where when it rained water got into the pod and damaged our things including our beds It was only there for 30 days before we retrieved back mildewed, molded and dirty damaged items. My children had already been through homelessness and dealing with me having cancer and going through divorce. They told me they could only pay partial payment and it's been 3 months and we are still without beds my kids are sleeping on covers and floors. On 08/04/22 they finally said they sent the check payment out to me. It is now 08/22/22 and I am still without any payment. I'm having a very hard time getting any help. We are suffering due to no fault of ours. I trusted this company which is a large corporation that can't get it right. My doctors are saying I need a bed after surgery so I can't schedule my surgery until I know I'm going to be comfortable at home. This is not fair to me or my children. A release was signed, and as a material part of this, Ms. ***** agreed the claim is resolved and no further complaints will be presented regarding this matter. We ask that Ms. ***** please allow 10-14 days, in addition to USPS mailing time, for a replacement check to be reissued.

As you can see yourself you ask me to allow 10-14 days from the 28th of July 2022. We are now in September well over a month past the time you have ask to me to wait. You also said you resent a check out and I am still not in receipt of that payment. I ask that you please send payment directly to my bank account and Andrew told me that your company would not send that much money($5000) directly to my account because the amount was too much. I would think that would be a more safer way of payment for a corporation as big as PODS. I really just want payment that I was promised I have kept up with my end so please tell me why your company can not keep up with yours. I just want beds for my family. I would like to know why I can not either get a direct deposit or an expedited payment sent to my home which I can sign for at the door since your company says $5000 is too much to send to my account. I wish I could get payment so I can just close this situation and go on with my life. You say it's closed but how can it be if I never got settlement payment. Super disappointed with Pods. I have had a container at my home for several months while doing construction. My monthly rental was $182.70 per month. I called and asked for them to store in the facility for a few months. They picked up last week after I was quoted $250 and billed me $791.35 for the month rate. I quickly called them and told them I wasn't going to pay almost $800 per month for a med container to be stored when I was quoted $250. The representative then told me that I could have it redelivered and empty it since that was the price. I had it delivered back to my home today and the representative is saying the new monthly rate to be stored at my home is $350. The billing rep was rude and offered no solutions just said that it was what it was and prices change. Horrible customer service and horrible way to retain customers.PODS Moving & Storage
