      Email response 4 days later:Please keep in mind that "Prepaid Reservations" are non-refundable, in the event of cancellation a non-refundable cancellation penalty applies. As a one-time gesture of goodwill, we have canceled your reservation free of charge.The full prepaid amount has been refunded. Depending on your bank, the credit may appear in your account within 3 to 10 business days.My response: I was given false information from your representative on the phone from your customer service department prior to traveling to the airport. . I explained my reservation has already Been paid through Priceline, and would be using an alternative credit card for the holding deposit. I may add that I was told it was 200$ for incidentals and upon arrival was told it would be 500. After traveling 200 miles total away from my home and back, was due to deliver my baby in a few weeks, and traveling with my 1 yr old, I was then tricked by both the manager and front desk into paying an additional 800$ to book a new reservation with no mention of me being refunded or acknowledging my current reservation. In fact, they forcefully ran my card to see if it would run without explaining anything to myself and family. The supervisor there said she would help and seemed to sympathize with my situation which clearly was not the case. Instead of helping, she tried to take more of my money. Your company in no way is doing any sort of gesture on good faith. After sending an email and anticipating a phone a call or any sort of communication 24 hours later as promised in your reservation recording, I then had to inconvenience myself once again by reaching out to your company. I had to speak to multiple representatives and wait on hold for hours. I had to beg for a refund receipt which did not include any form of money the refund would be issued back to. She ensured the refund would be processed in ***** hours. Youre now saying it can take up to 10 business days?Edited due to space.

      I feel this company is extremely predatory and takes advantage of their customers trust. I was the only customer picking up a vehicle in the afternoon on Monday July 17th. The attendant asked to scan my QR code, then gave me the keys and told me which spot to go to (in the extremely dim lit garage). She did not walk me to the car, nor did she complete any inspection of the vehicle with me. I thought it was weird- any other time Ive rented a vehicle through a LEGITIMATE company they did an inspection with me and required me to sign that there was no damage before I even got the keys. Being the trusting person I am, I ignored my hesitation, hopped in the vehicle, and went on my way. The car was in my possession less than 4 days, and I only drove it about ******* miles total. Additionally, it was parked in a garage when not in use. Before returning the vehicle, I inspected it at the gas station that is right next to the Sixt location at *************** while I filled up the tank. I did not see any damage. At drop off, there were again no customers waiting after me. I gave the attendant the key to the vehicle, and AGAIN no inspection was done. Imagine my shock when a few hours later I received a damage claim stating the following Door, rear Passenger side scratch **** cm (down to primer) for which they want to charge $444. Furthermore, there were no photos, only a diagram showing where the alleged damage was located. This had to be a mistake. I went to ****** and typed the damage verbatim. Before I could even finish, Sixt populated and was added to the end of my search. I quickly realized I was not the only person scammed by this company, and that they are notorious for this. I believe they instruct employees to see who does not request an inspection or complete a self-inspection in front of them. Then they are flagged and accused of damage they did not do. How many others need to be scammed before this company is held accountable?Damage # **********

      CAREFUL: VERY DECEPTIVE. Employee stole my money. I booked through Priceline and paid online. When I arrived the agent told me $70 would be a deposit that would be returned to me. Turns out he sold me an add on for $70 called a Loss Damage Waiver. I dont know what that is, but I thought loss damage = deposit for any damage on the car. I would have thought more deeply on this if the employee didnt lie to my face about it. I have no idea why he would even do this, do the employees get a kickback for selling you the add-on?

      Certainly got scammed the same way others got. ****************. - Reserved my car for three days - arrived at airport to know from agent that they cancelled my reservation - agent tried to upswell me with another car 5times costlier than my original reservation. - then suggested I go to their partner ie dollar rental to get a car. They had no car too - then the supervisor tells me that they dont have any car - I expressed my unhappiness so he starts yelling at me and saying go away I will not talk to you. I told him that he cannot say these words to any citizens. - this guys now calls police. Who could do nothing. - supervisor gives me wrong telephone number. Overall I had to pay 3 times money to dollar rental to get the car. The employee never apologized for behavior. I tried to file compliant through their customer service but no one will pick up the call. I was on call for atleast 30 min.

      If we could give them zero/negative stars we would. We tried to rent from Sixt for a pickup at 10:30pm. There was no indication on the Sixt website that the location we selected closed at 11pm. Their website also stated that the ************ counter at our airport pickup location was "in terminal." We selected Sixt in part *because* it was listed as an "in terminal" counter so we wouldn't have to drag our 3 kids onto shuttles so late at night. Yet their service counter is actually off site & required we take a shuttle. So we arrived at the off site counter just after 11pm. Absolutely NO Sixt staff were available to help set us up with a rental car per our agreement. There was even another person who had also been waiting there looking for Sixt staff at the same time. After multiple calls to Sixt customer service during the 11pm hour, we were told that the ************ counter at our location closes at 11pm (even though *every other* rental car company was still open) & we would have to return in the morning to obtain the car or file a complaint online. Yet when we filed our complaint, Sixt stated that because Sixt staff always "stay at the branch until 11:45 p.m. to help late-night guests" that our attempts to obtain the Sixt rental car per our agreement at 11:10pm require us to provide payment. But again, THERE WERE NO SIXT STAFF anywhere just after 11pm & during the whole time we were on the phone with customer service while we were literally standing at the Sixt counter. Yet Sixt is now sending us an invoice and demanding that we pay despite THEIR staffing ************** inabality to honor our rental agreement. We were forced to rent from another company at midnight with 3 kids. OF COURSE we'd have rented from Sixt if they had any staff there instead of sitting on the phone with them for an hour. The other rental company staff indicated that "they [Sixt staff] do this all the time and leave customers stranded" without vehicles so that they can leave work early.

      This company is a *** ***. Ive tried multiple times to cancel, and there is no way to cancel.! my reservation is not for another month but my plans changed and I want to cancel. This company is *****. Please dont rent from them.

      Before I drove the car, I reported to the agent scratches and marks. I was not permitted to fill out a form, noting the marks and scratches. They do not have such a form they say that they do it for you ahead of time . When I return the car, they said that it had even more multiple marks and scratches all over the car. I did not do those marks and scratches and they still charged me. I wrote a complaint to the company and they did not answer me. They do not have a phone number you can call to talk to anybody nor do they answer their emails They continued to give me payment request and threatened a collection agency, I consider them to be a crooked company requiring me to pay for the scratches and marks that they did! I do not recommend them at all

      Rented a car from this company and not only did I end up with a flat tire but they added almost $200 in fees over the Expedia price I had pre-paid. Do not rent here.

      I rented from them through Expedia on July 1, 23 @ 8:36 AM and tried to cal and cancel it within the hour. I was deferred to cancelling online by filling out their form. That was completed at 9:36 AM. They would not cancel it and actually marked me as a NO SHOW for the 12:00PM pick up that day. They would not refund any of my full pmt because they marked me as a NO SHOW, which I was not. I should have been a cancellation. But if I was a cancellation they would have been required by their contract to refund at least all but $200. of my payment. They are thieves and they act like children as they blame others for their lack of following their contracts!!! Do not rent from them.

      DO NOT RENT from this AWFUL company!!! I rented a car at the ****** airport to drive to **********. I got a flat tire on the side of the freeway. After changing the tire and taking time out of my vacation to take it to a tire shop the next day I was told by the mechanic that the flat tire was on threads AND the other rear tire was on *********** and was NOT safe to drive all the way back to ******. I was forced to buy two new tires bc Sixt would not send someone to me with another rental car. When I drove back to ****** and spoke with the manager I was told he could not refund me my money. I gave them back the two old tires on threads. I am now dealing with ******* and was told they needed my bank account information to wire me the money. That they could not refund my credit card bc the sale was closed. When I asked to send me a check they said they dont usually do that and it would take a long time. They are negligent and I could have been seriously injured or killed. They are a fraud and a scam. I will not stop telling everyone about what an awful company they are.
