      I reserved a rental car from Sixt through Expedia at *************. I showed up to get my rental on time. I had a temporary license at the time, which reading their website is not a problem. The website says show up and present your temporary license and expired license, which I did. I was denied the ********************** due to saying my temporary license would not work. They told me they cancelled it on their side. I reached out to Expedia for a refund, and they said Sixt denied the refund due to me trying to get a refund after the pick up time had past. The fact of the matter is their website lied, and I was charged for a service I never received due to not following their policy.

      SIXT will absolutely steal your money. I rented the car for one day. The way I picked it up is the way I returned the car. A few days later my card was charged $602.54. Which included a $400 smoking charge. I don't even smoke! I asked for a supervisor, and they refused to speak to me. I demanded they credit my card, and refused. This is unacceptable and will NEVER rent from them again. I advise you not to either, as they are thieves!!

      I thought I was having a great experience until I got an additional bill weeks later. I was charged for insurance I unequivocally denied, twice. I was also charged an extra cleaning fee even though the car was not unreasonably dirty. I was very clear I didn't want any additional charges, so they just automatically billed it later rather than being upfront at the time. They also had me sign a blank computer screen, so I couldn't see until after the fact that I was signing for insurance. Customer service stands by their business practices and refused to even acknowledge what happened. They feel like they treated me fairly. Beware. I will never use this company again.

      SIXT is the absolute worst company Ive ever dealt with. Which is sad, because I used to love working for them. But their staff (both in customer service and at the ATL ********************** location) is completely incompetent, lazy and totally disinterested in resolving issues for their customers. Long story short, they overcharged for a one day rental, didnt provide the car I actually rented (completely different category altogether), didnt process the checkout or return, claimed I kept the car a whole week, not the one day I actually had it for, claimed I returned the vehicle to a different state and claimed I had damaged the vehicle. I made multiple calls and emails, all of which were either hung up on or ignored. And then Sixt actually processed a $1,474 charge to my card, when it only shouldve been $220. I had to have my credit card issuer dispute the change and finally received a refund of the overage after a month. I will never rent from Sixt again, and am complaining about them every opportunity I get.

      Never use this fraud company. They will lie and charge you extra money for anything they can lie about. I was accused of smoking and I don't smoke. Charged $400 for something I don't do. This company is a complete scam

      SIXT will try to scam you in every way possible. Once we were home we received a bill for damage to the vehicle that was already on it from a previous renter. Luckily we had taken pictures of the vehicle prior to leaving the rental garage or we would have been stuck for $525. No telling how many other people they have ******* with the same bill. Then a month later received a charge on my credit card for $95 for tolls. The tolls amounted to $14.68 but they charged a $5 admin fee for each toll for a total of $80. The tolls were for a total of 2 days so $40/day admin fee. foe something that was never explained or gone over or agreed to. Not to mention I never agreed to leave my credit card on file so they charged my credit card without permission and ************. Will never recommend this company or rent from them again. Horrible experience from start to finish.

      We had great experience. Car was as promised, clean, new model. Stuff was freandly. We rent it in Fort Lauderdale. No hidden cost. No additional upsaling.

      Hi ,My name is *************************** and I live in ******* **. I rented from this company when I went with my wife on vacation to *********** from *** location. when I returned the car they accused me of a damage that I was not responsible for and they billed me 400 $ for a small scratch in the bumper that was close to a damage that was reported from before. Obviously they are running some scams to charge people extra money beyond the rent.

      Small window crack was not noted at the time of inspection because of reflections. After picking up the car, my wife on the passenger side noted the "already fixed" crack. I called your representative and he said he would take care of it. While returning the car, I also let the inspection person know that the window crack existed before my rental and I reported right after picking up the car. She said she would make a note of it.Next day, I received an email about "new damage". Obviously, it was NOT taken care of. If they charge any money, I will talk to their CEO with all my evidences.

      Rented a vehicle through Expedia, Signed up for a RAV4 or equal.Received a ***** instead with no options for another vehicle. I would have been happy with a ****** or ***** which is an equivalent to a ******* but NOT a MAZDA.Had an oil light indicator on the dash, no oil registering on the stick, and a continuous beep warning that I have no idea what it was for, but didn't have the nerve to drive it anywhere except back to the rental agency as soon as I could.Signed up for pickup at TPA (Expedia site), but the rental was off-site with no regular shuttle service to the location. They said take an UBER, but we talked them into driving us to it.With all the mechanical issues, and the inability to drive it any distance, they should have reimbursed me for at least the remaining two days instead of the 10% refund they offered.They said there was a $500 charge for smoking, but the vehicle smelled like cigarette smoke when we got in it.The whole experience was no way to start a vacation. I will never use Expedia to rent a vehicle and will definitely never use SIXT again.
