      REGARDING HOME POLICY: ********* Im filing a complaint regarding a homeowners policy (#*********) with Allstate that was mistakenly opened and remains active despite five cancellation requests and repeated assurances from multiple representatives.Timeline:4/30/25: Policy was mistakenly opened (eff. 5/1/25). I called the same day to cancel. Was told it would not be activated or billed. Despite this, Allstate billed my mortgage company.5/2/25: Mortgage company paid $1,507.92.5/6/25: An additional $10.17 was billed and paid.5/8/25: Called again. Requested backdated cancellation to 5/1/25 and refund. A service request was submitted and emailed to me.5/18/25: Called again. Another service request was submitted.5/20/25: Spoke to a supervisor, ****, who cited a system error. He claimed to cancel the policy manually and said I'd receive termination docs and a refund within 710 business days. This never happened.6/4/25: Called to escalate. No supervisor was available. Promised a callback in 2 hoursnever received.6/10/25: Spoke to ******, who said he manually terminated the policy but couldnt backdate due to being past 30 days. I explained multiple prior requests had been made within that window. ****** confirmed a refund would be issued and info sent to licensing to process full refund. He said Id see confirmation in the app within 48 hours. Still no ********* of 6/24/25, the policy remains active and no refund has been issued. I have spent hours trying to resolve this. Allstate has failed to cancel this policy or return the $1,518.09 billed in error.Desired Resolution:Immediate and retroactive cancellation to 5/1/25 Full refund of $1,518.09 Written confirmation of cancellation and refund status This situation has been extremely frustrating. As a new customer, I am shocked at the lack of accountability and service from Allstate.

      My car is in the body shop due to an Allstate insurer hitting my car. The problem is that Allstate does not want to pay for the repairs, as the body shop explained to the estimate adjuster they found more damages... so the shop and ***** warranty company will not approve my car to get fixed the way Allstate wants because it needs an up-and-over paint job. Without the proper repairs, my paint will turn white, and Allstate stated I can just keep putting my car in the body shop, which I don't want to do, and their insurer is at fault; they are trying to make me go and pay with my insurance to get the car fixed.

      I had a Renter's, Auto and Motorcycle Insurance Policies with Allstate Insurance. The Renter's Policy was effective from 5-2-24/5-2-25; paid monthly $26.28 until on February 2, 2025, Allstate increased the monthly premium to $60+ without an explanation and I did not make any changes to the policy to negate an increase. I contacted Allstate on 1-30-25 to inquire why monthly increase and I received a generic answer, "because the premiums increased." So I cancelled the renter's insurance and retrieve renter's insurance from a different company. The representative stated, he will cancel the policy & I will not be billed for any additional months. That was a LIE!! Allstate has billed me $72.65 for the month of February 2025; which is more than the increased monthly premium. I contacted Allstate several times-in Feb, ****** *** & June about changes on my auto & motorcycle premiums, that have since increased due to cancelling the renter's policy. Now I had Auto & Motorcycle policies with Allstate before I added Renter's and NEVER received a multi discount for multiple policies. HOWEVER, Allstate increased my monthly premiums for Auto & Motorcycle Insurance in February & *** for again generic reasons!!! Now Allstate has sent me to collections for $72.65 to ************************************** THIS IS SOME BS!!!!! Allstate need to stop with this collection & cancel this dam policy & removed it from the records ASAP!!!!! I refuse to pay Allstate any additional money for services I NEVER had after January 2025!

      Allstate insurance company and specifically ***** *****, my adjustor have acted with completely negligence while pursuing my renters insurance claim. I provided them with the incident including the incident report filed with my local police department as well as a detailed overview of the items that were stolen from my place of residence and the damage committed. They have illegally denied my claim and said it was due to misrepresentation and or fraud. When I have truthfully submitted everything in its entirety to the company. Everything on the claim is legit and I have nothing to hide when it comes to this situation. I have also explained in depth of any issues that arises with my claim and they were sorted out but then later on my adjustor tried using those issues that were resolved to justify her claim decision, which is totally wrong. I need this to be looked in to throughly and justified as soon as possible

      Claim number - ********** the initial estimate to fix the car was $37k and was told they were starting work on it and the car was drive able at the time of when they took the car to be repaired, now the car they say is not drivable. I paid $49,380 for 2024 model Y tesla long range and it was built on 07/2024 and in less than 11 months they are only trying to offer me the base model price of $31,257 and then take ownership of a vehicle that was still drivable before they took the car. The car is easily worth $36500, I will not accept there offer.

      ALLSTATE DOES NOTHING BUT STALL AND DIVERT WITH THEY ARE HERE TO HELP YOU, BUT THEY JUST TAKE YOUR MONEY AND NEVER DO WHAT YOU PAY FOR.  THERE NEEDS TO BE A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT ON THIS COMPANY.  THEY ACT LIKE THEY ARE DOING ME A FAVOR BY NOT DISCUSSING ANYTHING FOR PRIVACY REASON WHICH IS COMPLETELY FALSE, THEY ARE A PROTECTED BIG BUSINESS THAT GETS AWAY WITH ANYTHING BUT I WILL MAKE SURE TO CONTACT EVERY AGENCY POSSIBLE TO GET THE WORD OUT ABOUT THERE PRATICES OF CORNERING CUSTOMERS INTO  A CORNER AND SIGNING DOCUMENTS EVEN WHEN THEY REJECT THERE OFFERS.  THERE IS A REASON WHY THERE RATING ON BBB IS 1.1 CAUSE THEY NEVER CARE ABOUT THERE CUSTOMERS AND JUST WANT THAT MONTHLY INCOME.

      My car was struck in a hit and run incident on May 30th, while I was also almost ran over in the process and my car was damaged pretty badly as a result. I contacted my insurance company Allstate to file a claim and they not only have dragged it out to over a month which has cost me quite a bit of money while my car has been in the shop waiting as i have had to pay for a rental, but they are trying to force me to pay more than one deductible at $1000 each and not willing to repair my whole car saying it was already wrecked which i provided pictures that it was not. i have been treated very poorly by their supervisors and denied to speak to higher **** I am willing to pay $1000 but not willing to make multiple claims when it came from one incident. I even provided them proof of pictures time stamped up to days prior proving my car was not already damaged.

      I was in a single-car accident after hitting uneven pavement, which caused my strut to snap and led to additional damage. I had the car towed to ***** **********, where the repair estimate was very high. I filed a claim with Allstate, but it was denied due to "wear and tear" and "rust"without specifying where or what parts were affected. Because the car is my only means of transportation, I submitted another claim for the same incident. An investigator named ****** called me, questioning why I reopened it. I explained I wasnt accepting the denial for damage caused by road conditions, not neglect. A few days later, ****** called again to say the claim was denied for the same reason. I explained that Ive always kept up with my vehicle's maintenance and have never been told of any severe rust issues. I believe the road hazard caused the damage and that Allstate should either repair the vehicle, total it, or provide funds toward a new one. Ive been a loyal Allstate customer for over 18 years, insuring both my vehicles and my home. Despite this, I feel Ive been treated unfairly and unprofessionally throughout this process and am simply seeking a fair resolution.

      I am rejecting this response because: I have made a few complaints to the many different representatives involved in this situation and nothing has come of it. They all say the same thing that it's nothing they can do. Meanwhile I'm still paying insurance and have no vehicle because Allstate representatives has refused to repair it or compensate me. Eventhough their mechanic is saying it's totaled out Allstate representatives are denying the claim because they don't want to pay out or repair it.

I am being told that there is a ton/a lot of rust under the car, but have not received any pictures or been brought out to see the rust.       Date: 2/26/25 Amount $170.30 Allstate stated they didn't receive the payment that was sent in February 26th.. I contacted my bank who dictated that my check was sent but no one from Allstate said they did receive it!!! To this we are wondering how that could have happened...!!! Allstate sent a collection notice that we did not make the payment that the bank stated that we did!!!! To this day we have had to pay another insurance co. ******************************

      Email contact only! Pricing auto/house ins. over a mo. left on current ins,. Online to get pricing, the fact that I was looking spread. Allstate called me. Got, in my opinion, aggressive person. ****** ********* never clarified where or what he was other than mentioning another time zone, working from home that day. I switched to Allstate, but not until I was bullied into canceling current ins. though 35 days left on current & all had been verbal. A. B. to call them, I was to listen, stay quiet. I was to speak only to verify my identity. Switch made ($$ paid, etc), a M D became involved. Like A. B., M D revealed 0 details about ********** written comparison or data provided to me in any form. 2 days past one mo., I get an email from M ****** saying:Youre signed up for *********, and just need to activate and take one drive to keep your policy discount* and earn a policy credit!I added A. B. to my reply to this since he was not included on email. When asked what auto coverage I wanted, I stated since autos are paid for, as my generation would say all I want is street legal. At NO TIME was Drivewise pitched to me or explained or in any $$ comparisons to show how much I would save! I demanded the following in that reply:See attachment screenshot #*** Never got a reply from M D but A B replied:Hello this is ****** the agent you spoke with initially , give me a little time to gather the info you requested and I will send it to this email *********** was very unsettling. Can you say fabricate evidence? Not accusing just saying what else could one think on that reply. So I noted to both a new item to the needed proof list:Since Allstate is proving to be disorganized, add to that request ... Name, address, phone #, name of agency etc of the Allstate agent who initially contacted me and muscled his way thruTwo days later on 20th I sent a note to both:Prohibiting any $ removal(s) from my $$ acct. Will be treated as fraud No reply from either!

      I am rejecting this response because: To quote Allstate's response .... "We are happy to address the concerns upon receipt of request directly from the consumer."  Well, this consumer has done such but the Allstate employees refused to totally identify themselves as requested IN WRITING. These same Allstate employees, by totally ignoring (well, by lying and saying "need time to gather") the documentation request and then totally cutting off all communications, proved that Allstate does NOT address concerns directly from the consumer! Or perhaps Allstate has not communicated the stance (stated in response) to their employees!? All of this has BEEN CAUSED by Allstate employees going into hiding and thus ignoring a customer! Allstate needs to contact the employees that caused this problem and have them do what they should have done to begin with ..... address the matter and clean it up!! I made a request DIRECTLY to Allstate employees , was totally  ignored and because of such, made a second request directly to Allstate thru the BBB and from this Allstate response looks like the same is occurring again. There are other than the Big Business Bureau.

Well, by acknowledging and responding to this BBB complaint .... Allstate has done exactly that ... responded to a third party site ! And if I go to Allstate site as they wish, I will be exposing my consumer information to even more people not involved thus far! Thus creating even more opportunities for breach of confidentially of my information, CAUSED by Allstate's illogical stance. If Allstate is serious about "brought to our attention through internal company channels" they need to contact (through internal channels) their very own people  who created this whole mess and who then chose to cut off all contact. Their names are shown on attachments. Allstate needs to quit stalling, contact their own employees internally and get this resolved! No new/expanding of people  to this situation, which is what it seems that Allstate is definitely trying very hard to do!

      We, Mr. ****** ******* and Mrs. ***** *******, are submitting this complaint against Allstate Insurance Company for failing to comply with Maryland laws and regulations. On June 16, 2025, we submitted a formal written request to our Allstate agent, Mr. ****** *********, both by email and *******************. We requested: 1. Copies of all filings submitted to the Maryland Insurance Commissioner relating to our policies; 2. Copies of any ***-approved notification forms used, particularly **** 1006-A or 1006-B; 3. Documentation of when and how these notices were sent to us; and 4. A 24-month history of premium changes for our policies. Mr. ********* replied that he could not provide any of the requested information, stating that we do not have the capacity to honor such requests, and further declared, this will be the final correspondence you receive from myself and my agency. See the attached email dated June 16, 2025.This response denied us our legal right to protest premium increases and directly conflicts with Maryland law and regulations.This is about three Allstate Insurance policies:Policy: #1 $63.42 Policy #2 $27.28 Policy #3 $38.95 Allstate Insurance raised premiums by $129.65 on these policies without providing the mandatory advance notice or required forms, violating:Insurance Article ****** Requires insurers to give policyholders at least 45 days written notice of a premium increase;Insurance Article ****** Requires prior filing of premium rates and supporting data with the Maryland Insurance Administration;Insurance Article 11-211(a) - Requires the filer shall provide all pertinent information about the filing to the insured affected;COMAR ***********B Requires proper notice by first-class mail and accurate documentation of delivery; and COMAR ***********C Requires use of approved forms (such as MIA **** 1006-A or 1006-B), including information about the policyholders right to protest.

      I am rejecting this response because we respectfully request that BBB and Allstate Insurance Company investigate this matter, determine whether Allstate Insurance complied with all legal requirements, and get Allstate Insurance to:
      •Provide the documentation required under Maryland law;
      •Confirm the basis and approval for each premium increase;
      •Reinstate or retroactively offer the opportunity to protest these increases; and
      •Cancel the above-listed premium increases.
