Complaint: I was an Allstate customer since the early 80s, and because of this, I was shocked to be treated how I was treated at the beginning of this year, 2022. My agent re-evaluated my policy for a reduced premium resulting in a newly generated policy. The payment was made on the due date and posted to my Allstate account. During that time, my bank Suntrust merging with BB&T (Truist), was experiencing numerous issues electronically. The problems were so enormous that it was featured on the news several times. As a result, my Allstate payment was withdrawn from my Truist account twice but posted only once to my Allstate account. While researching my Truist dispute, the bank mistakenly reversed my insurance payment to Allstate. They used it to replace the extra payment they had withdrawn for the Allstate payment from my Truist account. Not aware that this had happened, I continued with my February 2022 payment to Allstate, which was received and posted. In March of 2022, Allstate returned my February payment by check, indicating in an accompanying letter that the new policys initial payment was rescinded by me and the policy canceled effective 01/28/22. Although I was aware of Allstates new policy cancellation rules, and the payment cancellation was not authorized by me, funds were available. More importantly, I had been a loyal customer with no payment issues for decades. I was sure they would consider the evidence Allstate requested and continue our relationship. They did not. Several months later, Allstate sent a collections notice for the amount of the new policys payment that Allstate had canceled. My payment in December 2021 was made on time and posted to my account covering December 28, 2021, to January 28, 2022. Allstate must cancel their collections effort because I do not owe them for insurance coverage I did not receive. The collections account listed on my credit record must be removed. Insurance cancellation: Allstate claims payment rejected by discover. Promotional policy through discover in ****. Set up as Allstate charges the card monthly, we make payments to discover. In June of 2021 Allstate claim their monthly charge was rejected, discover has no record of rejection and stated nothing has changed on card. We have Tried to resolve for past year, policy that has been in effect since **** canceled. I suspect elder abuse on Allstates end, they refused to reinstated the policy in June of 2021 and continue to state its their policy and against their rules and regulations to reinstate. Rude and talk over me, just keep stressing that I didnt make a payment. If that is the case then why did discover send me a check for overpayment???Why would we stop making payments after 28 years? Howdey I got in a car accident on the 19th of April. The police report reads the other driver was driving down the wrong side of the road that is what caused the collision. This was my primary vehicle so I have loss wages, property damage, and need to be compensated for rental fees, legal fees, towing fee's, cost to estimate damage to property.I have not seen a doctor as of yet. On May, 2018 I and my father purchased the business Diamond in the Rough for ******. The only borrowers on the forms were ***************************** and ***************************. At this time we purchased the business the only name on the contract was ***************************. I have been paying the bill out of my account the entire time of the contract. I had attempted to end a violent relationship with my ex in the beginning of August 2022. He was upset that I no longer wanted to be with him and went and filed false domestic violence orders on me 8/9/2022. In August, 2022 I called Allstate Insurance Agent ******************* and requested that they cancel the account. Instead of canceling they called ***** and gave him complete access to my account and allowed him to change my password and still pull money from my account. I called Allstate and spoke with ***** and ******* asked if I could submit the domestic violence forms and cancellation request of the Allstate account and have ***** open his own account. They told me at this time that they would not look at any of my documents or speak with me because it was no longer my account. I was so surprised that they company that is supposed to cover me has given access to the man who is abusing me, the one who I need protection from. On 8/16/22 ***** and I went to court and the judge dismissed his case, and I was granted a restraining order from *****. Allstate has completely locked me out of the account and will not close it even though the money is being pulled from me and I would like to cancel the account and have Allstate open an account under his name only so that it does not affect my credit and the good payment history that I have had with Allstate. I have attached all court documents and I also have a lawyer in place for this horrendous situation. ***** was very rude to me and was not helpful towards me and the situation I was in. *****************************- Date of Accident- 06/15/22- Claim #**********, On the above date an insured with Allstate backed into my mail truck. It had to be put in the shop for repairs. Allstate paid for the repairs but denied my claim for pay for having to miss 3 days. It took 2.5 days on the repair so I was out of work 3 day. My vehicle that their driver hit was a right hand vehicle for mail delivery. Allstate seems to think I should have gotten a rental vehicle to deliver the mail. #1 I am unable to deliver mail from the left side I am to short, which is why i paid 3k dollars to have the vehicle converted over. The post office states that I have to deem it safe to drive #2 I am not putting a rental in my name to take it out on a mail route and tear it up. I actually called a rental company and asked if i could rent a vehicle and use it to deliver mail? They said they dont have mail delivery vehicles. The fact of the matter is that their insured hit my right hand vehicle and if they are unable to provide me with a right hand vehicle they need to pay me for missing work. I do not get sick or annual leave as i am a rural carrier assistant and I explained all this to **************. It seems that they just are going with there usual lets deny and hope they go away. Their willingness to pay the life insurance policy that my son was paying on before his death, All they keep doing is asking for the same information which I have given them already. They only did that after I filed a complaint with consumer services Insurance Co. The customer service number that they tell you to call is never answered by a person, EVER! I won a case with your company Oxford versus corn bleath two months ago and my lawyer says to me which I have on an email that she sent the check to you and you were supposed to send it to me again it has been two months. ALL STATE is not picking up the car from private property a car that has been deemed total loss by their own appraiser. The claim adjuster went radio silent after 2 weeks of intensively pushing for an evaluation- appraisal -pictures of the damage to the car. The date of accident 08-08-21 as of this date no progress has been made and the car is parked at a private property and needs to be removed because it is now trespassing. For the past 2 weeks I been aggressively pushing for inspection to be completed and the towing of the car. Claim adjuster sent a request to a third party company to the photos of the damage but failed to provide the address or my contact information. When I spoke with the third party, she explained that ALL STATE is notorious by sending incomplete work orders. In my opinion, this is just one of the many delays tactics utilized by the adjusters of ALL STATE in an effort to delay payment of at-fault claims. Once the pictures were completed, I received an email alert with a message "your estimate is ready"; upon reviewing the estimate, it was only $6,700 to fix the damages, this was a fake misrepresentation of the cost to repair the car. Upon speaking with the adjuster, she indicated that according to their internal notes further damage needed to verify and must be completed by a body shop. Furthermore, the car needs to go to a repair shop to finalize the estimate. The adjuster said first I need to pay for the tow then changed her minute and stated that a ***own shop from all state can pick up the car and covered the towing fee. I agreed and we scheduled a date and time to pick up the car. This was a fake attempt, unsuccessful tactic because the adjuster placed a hold on the pick up of the car. Next, in a matter of 48 hours the appraiser changed from ***** to Vel; go figure! Nobody went to see the car and all of a sudden we have a total loss amount of $25k, pick up the car, answer my calls and comply with Ca.Ins.Law. CL#**********Business Response

Im writing this note to complain regarding the BAD service Ive received from Allstate in my claim for reimbursement for a cracked windshield on my ******** S-450. I filed a claim right away on finding a large crack in my windshield. 2 Allstate representatives told me I HAD to go through Safelite glass repair since Allstate contracts directly with them. First of all, Safelite ONLY uses after-market ************** which will not function properly in a ******** **** S model. Both Allstate representatives told me that Allstate will not cover the repairs made at ******** because they will be more expensive than Safelite. NONSENSE! These 2 Allstate representatives even had to check the companys HIDDEN policy database to explain what was supposedly covered. Had I known Allstate would fight me on a claim like this, I never would have insured with them in the first place. I received a letter from Allstates Glass Claim Express on 7/18/22, which clearly stated WE ARE PROHIBITED BY LAW FROM REQUIRING THAT REPAIRS BE DONE AT A SPECIFIC AUTOMOTIVE REPAIR DEALER.YOU ARE ENTITLED TO SELECT THE AUTOBODY REPAIR SHOP TO REPAIR DAMAGE COVERED BY US.As asked by Allstate, I went to a Safelite shop, and they admitted that they never had-or could get-this specific windshield.They wouldnt give me an estimate for windshield replacement, and wouldnt discuss any further details, and offered no warranty for their work.Clearly they are not qualified to install this specific windshield with built-in camera and sensors in the windshield. They also told me to go back to my ******** dealer to recalibrate everything after the windshield replacement!Ive been a loyal customer of ********************** for over 20 years; I pay about $2,000.00 a year to insure my ********. I dont deserve this bad service, and I should NOT have to go through so much hassle to get my car correctly repaired. Im entitled to full reimbursement from Allstate.Business Response

I was involved in a no fault accident, on may 6, 2022 police was called, a police report was made. I then called my insurance company to let them know of the accident. The police report says one thing , but theres always two sides to a story. The adjuster *************************** never preformed her job. Lying about not receiving the police report or she wasnt able to contact the other party involved in the accident. She made it my fault with no explanation. Mind you, she never spoke to anyone else involved but me.!! The other party insurance company called me from Hartford insurance with no knowledge of the accident, nor did she know the partys involved. Then my adjuster *************************** quickly closed my case kept my deductible, then put me at fault with all the insurance companies making me pay a higher premium. Which is not right.
