We have had insurance with this carrier for 3 years now and have never had a problem until now. We purchased a home in September 2021 and was told by the local agent that we are going to be given a homeowner's discount on our auto insurance.That did not happen, and we've been paying in excess of $30/month more than we should been paying for the last 11 months, for a total of $330 in excess premium(s).We can't get resolution with the local agent, so corporate needs to step in and resolve the issue!Business Response

On 7/15 I needed to contact Allstate to file a claim. My local insurance agent pawned me off to the call center because it was 4:30 on a Friday and I assume she wanted to go home instead of file my claim so close to quitting time. The first call center Rep I spoke with set up my initial claim but refused to give me any information about my policy and gave me wrong information about road side assistance/car towing and other general information. She was unprofessional and rude, she does not have the skills needed to help people in emergency and high stress situations, also she hung up on me. I had to call back to get the information I needed because I was hung up on. The 2nd call center Rep again told me I did not have road side assistance and told me I would have to pay out of pocket to tow my car to the shop.The 3rd call I made was to a call center Rep ****** She was the only one who helped me and worked through the issue in a professional manner. She confirmed I did indeed have road side assistance, and towing was included in my policy. She called me back to follow up on the issue. ***** was great.I cannot believe the unprofessionalism of the first 2 reps I spoke with. Allstate Leadership, please hire people that can answer questions professionally, honestly and accurately. Something that should have taken 20 minutes took over 6 hours and 10 plus phone calls through your awful IVR system. I pay you way too much money to deal with call center Reps that can even tell what services I have on my policy. These call center reps have caused you to lose my business. I could not imagine being in real danger or a serious accident and having to deal with the inexperience and terrible service.Business Response

Allstate is ridiculous! I have been contacting Allstate since April. In April I added a vehicle to my policy I was quoted an amount of $598 per month. When my **** came the minutely rate went up to over $900 and Allstate never contact my mortgage company. From April until June I was told they was opening an investigation, then I was told my policy wouldnt be affected by the investigation. Then I was told it was a system error and they was working to repair it. Then I was told it was being escalated then they said someone would contact me back. No one has these are the excuses Ive been getting from them for months. I wasnt even notified that my policy was cancelling because they kept telling me they was working on fixing the error on my policy!Business Response

All State is not covering a portion of my claim against them and their insurer for an accident because I failed to mention the scrape on the driver side, opposite of the accidents collision. There was a temprary construction median on the opposite side and didnt think I hit it until I noticed a scrape the next day. Accident occurred at night and no police where involved due to high volume of calls. Fix Auto added the scrape to the claim and the denied it. All State is also in the process of claiming the car a total loss when it is superficial cosmetic work.The car has been at Fox Auto for over a month with no work completed because of All States delay. We even declined the car rental they offered which makes it all less coat to them and they are causing delays and not wanting to cover the work.Business Response

I canceled my policy on May 13th and started a new policy with State Farm my policy due date for payment is the 15th of every month They are now asking at the July 3rd for $241.60 and cannot tell me why I owe them this money. They fail to show me any documentation shows that I cannot cancel my policy at any time without penalty so now they are looking for money from a collection agency starting from July 1st when the situation happened in May and there has not been any correspondence from them saying that I owe them any money until July from the collection agencyBusiness Response

I cancelled my policy with Allstate. April, 20th 2022. They are claiming I owe them money for coverage I did not have. And they will not withdraw rheir mistake. Even though I have proof. My new insurance sent paperwork, Allstate refused to accept it.Business Response

An insured of the above company caused an accident by running into my vehicle In January 2022. Allstate did not investigate the accident with any diligence and chose to deny responsibility based on a completely fanciful story from their insured. After I provided irrefutable evidence as to the details of the accident they accepted 100% liability and responsibility for the accident. After steering me to a shop in their network that completely mishandled and mismanaged my case and taking three three weeks to perform a routine estimate they have not allowed me to get another estimate. Through dozens of failures to reply, denials of protected services, passing my case from agent to agent, scores of easily avoidable clerical errors, bullying, delaying, I have been left with one substandard and completely miss handled estimate and an inability to extract another one from the company. I feel it is my right to receive more than one estimate, especially considering the ineptitude and poor handling of the one estimate I did receive.Business Response

On June 30 that I needed a tow so I called the roadside service around 4:45 PM to order the service. They advised that there would be $60 overage above the amount Allstate would cover to take my vehicle to my home in lakewood, and I agreed. After waiting long, I contacted the roadside service again and they said that the provider cancelled so they ordered me another tow truck. This happened again and again 4 times. 3 times they gave no explanation but 1 time they explained that the tow truck came and said they couldn't find me so they left. This was a lie. After being cancelled th 4th time, I called a friend who told me that the reason must be because they can't send a tow truck to *********** property, and the friend advised me to call #** to get towed of the parkway and then to call again the roadside service. So I did this. I paid $89 and they took me to a nearby Shoprite plaza. I called Allstate again and they sent me a tow truck. By the time my tow truck arrived it was around 11:30 PM . They towed me to my house in ********, ** and I arrived at 12:30 AM. The overage that I had to pay was $550 dollars because it had become a late after hours job. I was with my wife. We went the entire time without food and had to wait for many hours in the heat. This was all because the roadside service didn't tell us the truth of what was happening. I need to be compensated for this ordeal and also for the additional costs which were the fault of your roadside service. I filed a complaint with them. They called me to settle for $100. This was unacceptable to me. They called again and offered $250. This is also unacceptable. They need to take full responsibility for their mistake and mishandling the situation to reimburse me for the entire cost incurred due to their error, plus compensation for my wife's and my hardship.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:They failed to make amends. They failed to take responsibility for their negligence and dishonesty.
Someone from Allstate actually did reach out to me. They said they were making an offer as a gesture of good will. However their 'offer' in truth didn't represent good will, as the amount they we offering as compensation did even come close to covering the additional costs I incurred due to their negligence. They offered to give me $250 + $89. While my loss was vastly more than that, both in money and in distressful hardship.
They should be aware that if I will not get a satisfactory resolution here, I plan to take this further. Then it will cost them more.

I am rejecting this response because: Their response in not sincere. It is a generic response which they respond without thought, saying basically that they will call me. They sent me the exact same response verbatim 3 times now. When they called me each time, they made an offer to pay only a portion of the loss which they caused me by their neglegence. Each time the same pathetic offer as the time before, which I had already rejected. They are not really responding and considering my complaint in any real way. They are not taking respnsibility for their actions.
