I tried to resolve this matter today through Allstate Corporate after trying to resolve the matter for close to two weeks through the ********************* Agency in *******, and I am getting nowhere. The issue is very simple and twofold (Policy *********): 1) I added my father's ******* to our policy temporarily in April (added to the policy effective 4/25/22) and it was sold/taken off the policy on 7/24/22; I have yet to receive a prorated refund/credit for the monthly amount $324.17, and 2) while the premium/coverage/discounts after the sale of the ******* is exactly the same as that before we added the ******* to our policy, our payment amount jumped up from $201.18 to $212.48 beginning in August. This is not acceptable because during the brief time we had the ******* on the policy we incurred no tickets, accidents, etc.; the monthly payment amount since the sale of the ******* should be exactly the same as that paid prior to adding the ******* in April. I have been trying to work through the ********************* Agency/Allstate since at least the end of July, and I tried calling Allstate Corporate on 8/10/22, with no success. When I reached out to ****************, he said that he too was frustrated and that he had been trying to resolve the matter through emails since they are no longer able to call Allstate to try to resolve matters. The desired resolution choices below are limiting and not quite accurate. I want two things: I want an immediate refund/credit of the amount paid for July that was attributable to the ******* sold on 7/24/22, and I want my monthly payments to go back to where they were consistent with Allstate's own policy declarations prior to adding the ******* in April. I want a full accounting of Allstate's actions and resolution or else I will be forced to file a complaint against Allstate and the agency with the ***************** Department of Insurance and ********* Services. I know the agency is trying, but I'm getting no resolution from Allstate.Business Response

Im supposed to get an email explaining why I didnt get the prorated amount and why theres a difference in what is billed when premiums exactly the same. May 17, 2022 we called to buy home insurance. We payed in full $922.32 for home insurance. Without our notice they cancelled our policy June 9, 2022. They didn't let us know about the cancellation and kept $135.04. We want our full refund. I believe that they cheated me $135.04 by waiting to cancel the policy. If they were not going to give me the policy they should have given me a full refund. I would like a refund of $135.04. Thank you for your help.Business Response

At fault party Insurance company totaled my vehicle for $1,400 in parts/labor due to them using unfair low CCC market value of similar vehicle I submitted proof (dealer sale ads) that my vehicle is worth at least $1,200 more than what they valued my vehicle at and they will not fix the estimate so my vehicle is not totaled. I just want my vehicle repaired. I have included the most local sale ads similar to my vehicles mileage (*******) a picture of the damage they are totaling my vehicle over and their fair value of my vehicle.Business Response

Filed a claim for a bathroom loss due to water damage on April 29, 2022. The adjuster changed 3 times. The first adjuster was rude and yelled at us on the phone, before quitting his job the next day.The second adjuster finally gave us the go-ahead to have our own contractor provide an estimate. Within a couple of days, we were then informed that the adjuster had changed again... and we were not allowed to use our own contractor. So, we cancelled the estimation appointment with our contractor.Then the new adjuster wouldn't answer her phone to us nor the contractor. The contractor said he had several other clients that were having the same issues with ******************* at Allstate. She was not answering the phone, delaying the process, and then providing a severely underquoted coverage rate (less than 1/2 of the actual repair cost). We finally, through attorneys, got *** to allow us to get a quote since it had now been almost 3 months since we filed our claim. We returned the quote to ***, making the changes she requested, yet she still returned a coverage rate of less than 1/2 the quoted estimate. Meanwhile, we have been without a bathroom for months because of Allstate's negligence. We emailed every executive level employee at Allstate with our grievance as well, and have not received a single response. This negligence has cost my family time and money, and has caused us to default on a contract. We are seeking full coverage of the damages, as we have paid our insurance on time every month and have selected the best coverage from this obviously shady company. If this is not resolved in a timely manner, we are prepared to engage our attorneys in a lawsuit and are already in communication with our attorneys about doing so.Business Response

I am rejecting this response because:Allstate still has not provided an acceptable resolution. Further, they have not responded to our attorneys attempts to resolve the situation. Additionally, the adjuster closed the case and paid out an unapproved amount that we had opened an appeal on, stating that we were not cooperating. Meanwhile, our attorney remains without contact.
Our contractor is providing a witness statement to our attorney today and we will be pursuing legal action within the next 7 days if this is not satisfactorily resolved. The total amount paid is only half the cost of the bathroom repairs, rendering our project unfulfilled and our bathroom still not almost 4 months after our claim.

I'm paying full cover on my motor home for more than 7 years and on April it was damaged by a windy storm and it damage the roof I got proof of that and the agent said it's wear and tear damage that they won't pay for that any help?Business Response

Allstate is the worst insurance company ever. Avoid at all costs. Few months ago, I was online to get a quote for my car. While I was ready to complete the payment on Allstate website, a new window appears to tell me that I couldnt proceed the payment and that I needed to call one of their agent. I decided then not to call and to find another quote with another company (State Farm). Anyway, I noticed few days after this incident that AllState charged me 3 times for a total of $650, without my consent, without notifying me and without sending me any documents that could prove I have an account with them. After weeks of talking and after filling complaints, they finally reimbursed me and the case was supposed to be close.Now, I have received 3 documents, few days ago, telling me that I have some debts with AllState that I need to pay. I called them and their agent told me that I have 3 coverage auto that are still going on. How is it possible?! I didnt pay for any quotes because the payment didnt proceed, so if the payment was not proceed, I shouldnt even have coverage. Moreover, I have already car insurance with another company, I absolutely dont need to have three others with Allstate, it doesnt make any sense.Business Response

My mother submitted a claim on her home which requires repairs due to a leak. The claim was sent to ************************* with Allstate. **** who is supposed to be handling my mothers claim has not communicated with my mother or anyone else who is approved to speak details of the claim. My mother has been out of her home for three months. In the past three months contractors have been to my mothers house a total of five times. This apparently is due to approvals needed to be made by **** who has not communicated with contractors. It was also reported that **** and the contractors who use the same portal to communicate, has left emails unread since July. These emails contain approval requests. My mother is elderly, 75 years old. She suffers from depression and anxiety. She has been put in a hotel in the beginning of the claim and now is residing with me due to her depression. My mother is deteriorating due to this matter and just wants to be home. No one has been to my mothers house in three weeks to complete any repairs. Fingers are being pointed from Allstate to the contractors and the contractors to Allstate and my mother is caught in the crossfire.Business Response

Allstate kept charging my credit card erroneously even after i have cancelled my policy for more than 10 times...I filed dispute with my bank and got those amount credited. Allstate sent my account to collections and debt collections department reported to credit bureaus for no mistake of mine....Local Allstate agency ( ******** branch- ***************) owner never goes to the office, OR goes to office once in a while and never responds back. Only the agents working there, keep answering saying, only owner can handle this and I am not any any response from them. Please help immediately as i need to remove the collections record from my report for no mistake of mine.When i reached the local allstate agency (******** branch- whom i am with until i cancelled), they are asking me to reach out to headquarters or somebody else and failing to respond in a professional manner...Business Response

Purchased AllState Insurance from ******* on A Gazebo that I purchased. I called to file a claim and was told that it wasn't covered for seperation of the seams and tears. They stated that the policy was for mechanical damage only electrical damage only. The protection booklet that I was given and I was told by the employee that it covered everything. Why would I purchase mechanical and electrical insurance for a gazebo? I would like a refund of the the insurance I purchased or a replacement for the damaged Gazebo that I told was covered from the scam that Allstate and ******* is running.Business Response

An unauthorized charge from my Huntington checking account in the amount of $159.81 was made on August 8th 2022. This is the second unauthorized charge made in the past month. I need this company to refund this money. I cancelled the policy effective August 3rd when they made another unauthorized charge in the amount of $161.85. I agreed to make that a final payment to the company and I switched to another insurance company Progressive for auto and home insurance effective Aug 3rd at midnight.Business Response
