So I recently filed a claim and my sewer backed up twice (two different claims and the first claim with ***** has been a nightmare. These companies don't have a problem taking your money but don't want to and look for every reason not to pay on claims. I was told by ***** that the policy wouldn't fix the pipe that needed to be fixed but it would pay for the backhoe, excavation, etc. But when the plumber sent the estimate of $65,000 now all of a sudden, the policy doesn't cover anything outside of the home. i asked her did it cover the garage since it's outside she said, no. The pipe is cracked on the inside of the home and out course leads out the property to connect to the city pipes. So one part of the claim was being paid (but haven't received it yet) and it was $8,000 with over $2,000 for my deductible, that's 25%. I have a new policy and paid up for 6 months. now ***** tells me I have until 8/8/22 to get another estimate from the plumber, I did now at 9:41 pm on 8/8/22 she sends me an email saying she will contact the plumber for clarity, clarity? This claim was filed July 1st 2022 and I can't live their because of the toilet, and sewerage backing up. I will never use this company again. The policy "Pays up to $400,000". The estimate from the plumber is $12,000 but she needs to call him, yet again....for what can't you read? No one is paying me for not being able to live their eitherBusiness Response

Allstate is the worst insurance company ever! Few months ago, I was online to get a quote for my car. While I was ready to complete the payment on Allstate website, a new window appears to tell me that I couldnt proceed the payment and that I needed to call one of their agent. I decided then not to call and to find another quote with another company (State Farm). Anyway, I noticed few days after this incident that AllState charged me 3 times for a total of $650, without my consent, without notifying me and without sending me any documents that could prove I have an account with them. After weeks of talking and after filling complaints, they finally reimbursed me and the case was supposed to be close.Now, I have received 3 documents, few days ago, telling me that I have some debts with AllState that I need to pay. I called them and their agent told me that I have 3 coverage auto that are still going on. How is it possible?! I didnt pay for any quotes because the payment didnt proceed, so if the payment was not proceed, I shouldnt even have coverage. Moreover, I have already car insurance with another company, I absolutely dont need to have three others with Allstate, it doesnt make any sense.Business Response

This is **** I recently filed a complaint about Allstate but was unable to finish my complaint. as I stated in my previous email that I had a fire here at my home in December 2021 I filed a claim with Allstate I also filed a claim with State Farm. I was told we were not supposed to have to insurance companies which we had forgotten about Statefarm because three years ago as I stated in my previous email we were thinking about selling and so we obtained other homeowners insurance and forgotten about it because it came out of the account automatically.******************* was my Allstate adjuster and over the course of five months I may have spoke to and six times because she would not return my phone calls or respond to my emails so in July 2022 ******************* phoned me and said she was giving me ****** and that she would send me a check for 14 more thousand and if there was anything that was left out or not agreed upon to let her know she never once said that the settlement was finished and that was it because that payment was split by two insurance companies because Allstate was the primary when I spoke to the adjuster at Statefarm I explain to him that I would be willing to accept ****** from Allstate and ****** from State Farm because my claim was over $100,000 I have pictures and evidence to verify that information.. that being said what I received from each insurance company was ****** and I am not excepting that and thats what I explain to them because not only was my loss devastating I lost personal property that meant a lot to me and it was antiques and expensive items that were stored in my garage things that could not be replace because they came from family and loved ones. theres no price that you could put on valuable items so I was willing to settle for that amount and that was not done and I feel cheated and I feel my claim was diminished not only was I insulted by the adjuster ******************* at Allstate She use words that that were offensive to my race. Ive been a customer for 47 years this only my second claim. On May 7 2022 I filed a claim for hail damage to my home (claim number. On May 12 2022 my home was inspected by ******* claims consultants. When I receive a copy of the estimate, I asked **, for the name of a company within the Allstate network fix the damage. Within a day or two Highland Construction came out to look at the damage. The estimator told me, at least the front part of the roof needs to be replace in addition to the other damage in the front, and he would send me a copy of the estimate when he gets back to the office. Highland construction told me my estimate was sent to Allstate and I would have to get a copy from Allstate, I spoke to **and **both told me that the estimate was in something called a litany and no one can see the estimate until a decision had been made. Not even the home owner. In one of ****** emails he made this point If additional damage or costs are identified, supporting documentation, such as a detailed contractor s estimate and photos, should be sent to the Claim Owner. It was in this litany for a month before I asked how long it would take to get resolved. **and **didnt know how long it would take. **told me if I wanted to speed up the process I could have another contractor to an estimate. On June 26 I decided to have Ready Roofing do an estimate, their estimate included roof damage and other damage that was not identified by the initial inspection. As of today there is not a resolution to my claim. Im being told that the pictures dont justified enough damage that Ready Roofing did, but where is the pictures that Highland Construction took? Did they justify enough damage? On about July 25 I asked ** to have an Outside Adjuster do an inspection of my home. On July 28 ** informed me that Allstate claims department is transitioning away from outside adjusters. Every home on my block has had their roofs replaced. On 3/22/2021, I, ***********************, the consumer filed a claim with my insurance company, Allstate Insurance of 17 years to repair my roof. I have had 3 different contractors to come out and look at my roof at ********************************************************************* and they have advised me that my roof is in need of a roof repair. Allstate agent ************************* located in ********** ******** was my agent. I relocated to ******* 4/2022. I was seeking to adjusted my Milewise policy which charges per mile and a policy daily rate, to a policy which would allow me to go back and forth to Georgia to look for a place to live. ******************* referred me to Milewise directly since he was not sure if I could adjust. On 2/21, my policy was changed from a Milewise per mile policy to a Milewise unlimited policy. I was told I could revert back at anytime. Upon completing my trips, in March I tried to contact Milewise again and could not reach them. So I contacted Allstate customer service who was unreachable as well but I was able to leave a voicemail message. Never received a callback. On 4/8 I was billed $129.00 and I reached out to Allstate to cancel my policy and get my $129.00 back. After a 2 hour hold at 7AM in the morning the agent told me I had to call my agent to cancel. On 4/8 ******************** was unreachable by telephone so I emailed him at 322PM about the cancellation and wanted my money back. On 4/11 l received an email from ******************** informing me my policy was cancelled effective 4/8/22. stating: Cancellation of Allstate Insurance effective 4/8/22. I contacted my bank and ask them to put a hold on the $129.00 pending my refund from Allstate. Since I heard nothing from Allstate or ********************, I thought all was well. My bank sent me a letter on 4/13 stating they would research my provisional credit of $129.00 and as a result they would either leave the credit or deduct it again. I have been sent to collection without my knowledge by Allstate. I have received no emails, phone calls or paperwork. Allstate's customer service is appalling. I have been insured by numerous companies throughout my lifetime and never have I been told the only person I can cancel a policy with is my agent. I filed two claims with Allstate (squaretrade). Both were approved and I have not recieved checks as promised. I have monitored the **** mail tracker and have not seen anything to be delivered. Squaretrade says they've attempted 4 times now, but nothing has come.Business Response

Allstate is my insurance provider for my automobile. My son was in an accident on 7/23/2022 & a claim was filed. I received 1 call from the adjuster to process the claim. I have made multiple calls a week after the accident to get an update on the claim but have not received any call back. I reached out to my local insurance agent on 8/10 as well & was told they would call me back on 8/11 but have not received any call back as of yet with status of the claim.I am just looking to have someone update me on the status of the claim & answer my questions regarding the claim..such as I will be travelling for business next week & have a rental car as part of my insurance coverage but do i need to return it prior to leaving or will it be ok to continue using it as well as insurance coverage questions.I did receive an email on 8/1 from the adjuster stating they received a total loss evaluation and reviewed it but the comps that were provided were not from ******. On the same day I also received an email from the technical review team stating they did not have a complete estimate on file...I want to confirm that this is not holding up my claim but no one will call me to address this issue.Business Response

05/03/2022 I PAID FOR INSURNCE COVERAGE FROM ******************************* OF ALLSTATE, SHE STATED SHE HAS GOTTEN EVERYTHING ON THE POLICY THAT I SAID I WANTED. I PAID ****** FOR SOMETHING I THOUGHT I HAD ON MY POLICY JUST FOR ME TO CALL THE NEXT DAY AND BE TOLD IT WAS ION THERE AND THEN A COUPLE OF HOURS LATER TELL ME THAT THE AGENT ******************************* FORGOT TO PUT IT ON THE POLICY(SR22). I WAS ON THE ***** WITH DMV AND ALLSTATE LITERALLY ALL DAY WHILE I WAS AT WORK JUST FOR NOTHING TO GET RESSOLVED. I WAS TOLD DIFFERENT INFORMATION FROM AGENT ********, AND *********, AND ***. THE REASON WHY THIS IS SO IMPORTANT IS BECAUSE I NEED THAT SR22 ON THE POLICY IN ORDER FOR ME TO GET MY UPDATED TAGS ON MY CAR. ALLSTATE HAS JUST BEEN RUDE AND NASTY AND TODAY WHICH IS 05/05/2022 THEY HAVE HUNG UP ON ME TWICE. I DON'T KNKOW WHAT I S GOING ON BUT FROM THE REVIEWS A LOT OF PEOPLE ARE UNHAPPY BECAUSE THEY ALSO FIGHT LIED AND CHEATED OUT OF THERE MONEY.
