I am filing a complaint against Allstate insurance for undervaluing and underestimating damage coverage for our ceiling, roof , and gutters. We had a inspection and reinspection in which a hired highly reputable roofer came to represent us with Allstate to determine the damages. At both inspections it was confirmed there was damage. We have a Crack in our ceiling in which you can see water stains and its getting worse. They told us to just replace it with a new piece....however what if there is water damage, mold. Etc, I have a 5 year old daughter and am afraid one day a piece will drop on her and if there is water there can be mold. We do not feel just replacing a piece of drywall is reasonable solution Where is the water stains coming from is the question? Clearly from the roof in which needs to be replaced due to hail damage. Overall, Allstate did not fairly provide a reasonable payout for the damages to our ceiling, roof, and gutters(dents from hair) It is under valued at $2500. This will not cover the ceiling There were 4 other homes on our block that had full roof replacements. We were told to replace only a few pieces. What are we to do if cannot buy the same material for the gutters or shingle if they are discontinued? And how can u only replaced a piece here or there? Also at our reinspection the adjuster and I believe inspector had a little confrontation in regards to a comment on gender that was made I believe due to this, the atmosphere and behavior had an effect on our reinspection denial which is unfair to us. We have been with Allstate for many years and we are very disappointed and dissatisfied with Allstate commitment to their customers and we'll being to provide coverage. We are seeking a reevaluation to cover all damages as provided in support of pictures and drone video to show the damages incurred. If we do not get a reevaluation to cover gutters, more roof overage, ceiling, we will be looking to move our policies elsewhere.

Hi. Im getting an amount that I owe Allstate New Jersey Insurance company the amount of $780.52. I cancelled my policy with them effective 2/19/25. According to them I cancelled a policy before the 6 months period of the policy which is 3 months. I spoke with there representative and even mentioned that Allstate even gave me a check for credit that I have not used. According to the person they are charging me with discount they gave me.. I told them this is the first time that I heard that a company will charge a tremendous amount even if we havent use that policy. I would like to complain about this company that will affect also my credit score because of there wrong doing and business practice.

I would like Allstate to respond appropriately and not to ask me to call a 1-800 number that won’t solve the matter. Thank you.

I am an attorney. My wife and I are the insured. We are making this claim of Allstates ongoing bad faith conduct in its handling of my claim and my clients fire loss claim and its continued, unjustified refusal to release the insureds residential property for re-pair and re-occupancynow nearly two months since the date of the covered loss. Background of the Claim On April 26, 2025, my clients home at ****************************** ***** suffered extensive damage due to a house fire. The fire was promptly re-ported to Allstate, and all documentation requested by the adjuster has been fully and timely provided. My client has fully cooperated at every stage of the claims process.Since the fire occurred, the adjuster has unilaterally delayed and rescheduled inspections (5/2,5/5), no show (5/6), cancellation (5/2, 5/9). Reasoning for the above ranged from needing security to ensure the adjusters safety in entering a vacant location, fire investigation not complete. I am attaching a sample of the correspondence between my client, myself and Allstate, detailing the unreasonable delays in the investigation, unreasonable de-lays in handling the claim and releasing the property, and Allstates non-transparency and non-communication of key information relating to the claim --- all indicative of bad faith.Allstate has not provided a valid, legitimate reason (or any specific reason for that matter) for the near two-month delay. Despite the passage of nearly two months, Allstate has failed to complete its investigation in a timely manner, has unreasonably delayed payments due under the policy, and most notably, has refused to release the property to the insuredthereby preventing necessary repair work and restoration from beginning. This delay has left my client unable to use this home and incurred substantial financial damages, emotional distress, and potential long-term property degradation.

I am rejecting this response because :

      1. insured has exhausted its extensive efforts to seek compliance from Allstate through its internal processes, but to no avail. Allstate has engaged in dilatory and bad faith tactics in prohibiting the homeowner to take possession of her/our home after the fire, for nearly two months. This bad faith action has caused substantial financial and emotional damage to the insured. This situation is well-within your office's jurisdiction and the type of predatory conduct cited in the complaint is the exact type of conduct that should be investigated and sanctioned by this office. Please feel free to call me on my cell phone if you wish to discuss.

      2. Allstate has no authority to exercise confidentiality on behalf of insured.  To the degree such confidentiality provisions still apply, the insureds expressly waive such protections

I have been fighting with them over 2 months to get my roof ***aired. My roof is leaking over my master bedroom and my back porch. Now they are trying to talk their way around helping me. It took them almost 2 months to get an inspector here. I had a roofing contractor here to walk through with him what needs to be done. They have treated me like I am beneath them. I messaged their *** last week and asked him to call me back to tell me 3 reasons why I have home insurance with them. I would like for them to do the ***airs to my roof.

Complaint Against: Allstate Insurance Complaint Type: Billing/Collection Issue Date of Issue: 08/30/2024 Amount in Dispute: $102 Complaint Summary:I am filing this complaint due to an unjust billing and collections action by Allstate Insurance after I had already canceled my policy and switched to a different provider.I changed my car insurance on August 30, 2024, and provided proof of new coverage to Allstate. Despite this, Allstate billed me $102 for a policy period starting September 2024, well after my cancellation date. They claimed it was an auto-renewal, even though I had already terminated the policy and had multiple documented communications with their representatives confirming my cancellation. After several follow-up calls, Allstate acknowledged the error and assured me the billing issue had been resolved and that the account had not been sent to collections. However, I recently discovered that the $102 charge was in fact sent to a collection agency, which is now affecting my credit unfairly. This situation is unacceptable. I took all appropriate steps to cancel my coverage and provided evidence of my new insurance. I also proactively followed up with Allstate, who repeatedly misled me by assuring the matter had been resolved. Now I am being penalized financially and reputationally for their mistake.Resolution Requested:Immediate removal of the $102 charge from collections.Formal correction and notification to any credit bureaus involved.Written confirmation that my policy was properly canceled as of August 30, 2024, and that no future charges will occur.A formal apology for the inconvenience, confusion, and damage to my credit.I expect prompt resolution of this issue, as I have made every good-faith effort to address it directly with Allstate without success.

I had insured my vehicles through Allstate ***************************** Insurance Company for many years. My policy was nearly $3000 for six months, but I continued to renew my policy. When the Allstate CEO lectured America just days after a terrorist attack in *********** I made the decision to take my business elsewhere. My Allstate policy clearly shows that it expires on January 16, 2025. I contracted with another insurance company for auto insurance, effective January 16, 2025. I notified Allstate IN WRITING on January 16, 2025 that I had taken my insurance business elsewhere. Allstate sent additional correspondence "threatening" to cancel the coverage that I did not renew. I again wrote them on February 13, 2025. In turn, Allstate sent me a letter demanding payment of $245.59, stating that they covered me for a month even though I notified them I did not renew. They demanded that I send "proof of insurance" from my new company showing that I had insurance coverage. I sent them proof of insurance which clearly shows I had coverage through another company effective January 16, 2025 and advised them that I had notified them IN WRITING that I was no longer their customer. Even though I did not renew my policy, I had notified them in writing of that fact and provided proof of coverage with another company, Allstate has referred me to a collection agency for payment that I do not owe them.

Allstate Insurance has been handling a 3rd party claim against an Allstate customer in "bad faith." The adjuster signed to the case has never provided any physical paper documentation as required by law, including witness statements, EUAs, and denial letters. The adjuster assigned ***** *****, has been rude, unprofessional, has ignored and/or failed to acknowledge evidence provided for the claim, never stated that he had already denied the claim the same day it was submitted, has never provided a physical copy of the denial letter, and never even told me the claim was denied until a week after the denial. ***** ***** has been reported to the State Insurance Board and also has received an ethics complaint for failing to provide this documentation as required by Florida statute. Additionally, the vehicle has never been inspected by Allstate, never been sent for a repair estimate of any kind. ***** ***** has summarily denied the claim without performing any sort of investigation. He has also sought to suppress my testimony by failing to provide a written copy of my testimony at the time it was taken as outlined in Florida law. By doing so, ***** ***** has precluded my ability to use this evidence in further legal action, an abrogation of my rights. He has also continued to "slow roll" responses to the claim to the State, and I've had to repeatedly follow up to ensure that Allstate's adjusters are following the law. I want the claim escalated and reassigned to a completely different team (his supervisor refused to provide me his adjuster's license number upon request) with a full review at the executive level and the 2 adjusters in question investigated for potential fraud and professional misconduct. I want an actual adjuster to physical inspect the vehicle and for Allstate to perform a legitimate investigation into this claim.

I am rejecting this response because:

I have already directly contacted Allstate and am being given the runaround.

There is a state investigation open against Allstate in regards to this incident. Allstate needs to legitimately respond to the claim that was filed

      Complaint: 23454225

I am rejecting this response because:

Allstate has already been contacted by email, and telephone. It is a 3rd party claim so there is no website account. ********************** representatives have been repeatedly hostile and have refused to provide legally required information such as ***, claim file, loss reports, investigative documentation as to how Allstate has arrived at its determination (no actual investigation appears to have been done), has refused to state the driver's insurance status for the claim as prescribed by law. They have also failed to provide a copy of the policy documents to determine coverage as well as any details surrounding activation of  Allstate's arbitration process.

I have no legal obligation to accept Allstate's terms in signing up for a website account and I will not be doing so.

Allstate can send documents directly to my address, which they already have on file as part of the claim. No need to post PII on any third party websites.

      Sincerely,
