***************** were involved in a ********** JUNE 29 2024. Allstate just decided to tell us. Sorry we aren't paying. Their justification, MY DAUGHTER WASNT INSURED. However my daughter did not cause the accident. She along with 7 others were hit. It took them 7 months of running around the ****. To say your not entitled. I was fully insured. As a passenger where is my rights?

I've had Allstate for my renters insurance for almost a year and this will be my last. Just changing an address took so much trouble. It's 4 miles from my current address and no price change. I tried to do it online but it said I needed to speak to someone. I spoke to someone who said he couldn't help me and now I have to talk to a "specialist". Just to take 15 minutes to do that. There is no change to price either. All this trouble just to change an address. I would hate to see what happens when I need to file a claim.
I'm so glad my policy ends right at the beginning of hurricane season. I'm changing companies before I pay for a giant headache. And no help.

So far, my experience with Allstate or "Square Trade", is a bad one. I keep getting told in the emails that they claim I haven't sent them the address, phone number, email, of the companies I used for repairs even though I sent a literal PDF that contained every single scrap of information possible of my total repair costs and the contact information of the retailers and everything they asked for. I feel like the company is running me around like this to get out of paying because the warranty cost me $80 and now they have to cover $400 in repair costs for a faulty motor. Less than they would have, if the companies I dealt with hadn't offered me discounts in the first place. I am still trying to deal with this, but at this rate I'm angry and getting fed up with it. I think this business should be shut down if they are going to continue to scam people like this. Its disgraceful to blatantly lie to your ************* don't want to take a hit for huge repair costs? Don't cover everything so cheaply with blanket coverages. Actually inspect what you're about to cover rather than letting ******* mark something as a toy and covering "toys" for cheap.

Our first time ever needing to file a claim with Allstate. This was for hail / storm damage to our homes roof. Once the claim was approved. I could never get anyone to help with the claim. Not the adjuster, a manager, another adjuster, no one. Constantly calling customer service, leaving voicemails on our adjusters cell phone, text messages, and emailing. Nothing for weeks. We could not believe this was how a company the size of Allstate would treat its clients. We were absolutely shocked, let down, and felt as if we were being scammed. Four weeks go. Finally a manager calls me back on his cell phone on a non recorded line. And address's me and the situation as if we were bothering him. Again we are shocked by this. Just could not believe how we were being treated by Allstate and it's representatives. We are still going on with this claim. Once it is over. We will never do business with Allstate again.

Allstate mishandled my stolen vehicle claim from start to finish. My 2012 Infiniti M37 and firearm were stolen on October 3, 2024. I reported it immediately, but my adjuster interrogated me instead of helping. My request for a rental was denied for days, and when approved, the amount barely covered a few ******* October 8, my adjuster stopped responding, leaving me without transportation, costing me my job and lost wages. When my car was found on October 10, it was severely damaged with stolen items inside, yet Allstate delayed the inspection and refused to move forward. They kept asking for documents I had already provided phone records, receipts, proof of employment dragging the process out. Then, they scheduled an Examination Under Oath for January, demanding unnecessary personal records. I had to hire my own lawyer because their attorney refused to let me have support in the ******* car was moved to a dealership on November 1, but Allstate ignored it, leading to storage fees. By December 18, the dealership threatened to tow it, and I had to cover the costs myself. Even after multiple submissions of my phone records, they kept asking for them. Finally, on December 20, they moved forward after my car was towed, causing more expenses. My stolen firearm, covered by my policy, was ignored. This claim resulted in significant out-of-pocket costs, including lost wages, **** and DoorDash fees, storage and towing costs, and legal fees. It took over three months for them to resolve it, only after causing financial hardship. The claim was finally closed on February 11, 2025, more than four months after it began. I do not recommend Allstate to anyone.

I have been fighting Allstate due to an accident THEIR policyholder created and caused damage to my vehicle when he pulled in front of me while I was passing him then he slammed on his brakes...later claiming he was avoiding (a 2 pound squirrel with a 3500 pound vehicle) which he can not prove! When asking why the denying my claim I was told by ***** *******, claims *** that there was no evidence of their policyholder being at fault. Even after I cited at least THREE traffic laws he violated and have this policyholder confessing THREE TIMES ON VIDEO and once in writing, this ******* still says I am at 100% at fault and will not recognize or acknowledge this EVIDENCE I have submitted!! I am not even close to being done with this c*** from either Allstate or this low life moron that committed ROAD RAGE!!!

I have been back and forth with Allstate today because they refuse to send my mortgage company the homeowner insurance. I had to do all the work and when I complained to a person b/c my bank wont accept the paperwork from me they charged me $116.57 just because. I've now been on the phone for over 4 hours just to get the $116.57 that wasn't supposed to be on there taken off. I finally have gotten someone to help me his name is **** and he is really wonderful but because of one persons mistake its take this poor guy hours to get it figured out.

Title: Allstate's Tactics: Denial, Delay, and Deception Our experience with Allstate has been a nightmare of denials, delays, and manipulation of policy language. Their actions reflect a clear strategy Deny, Delay, Defend to avoid fulfilling their obligations, all while profiting off the backs of homeowners. The most egregious issue arose when Allstate failed to pay a vendor on time, leading to over $1,600 in interest charges. Instead of addressing their error, they illegally used our policy funds to pay the accrued interest, adding insult to injury. Allstate also manipulated policy language to deny legitimate claims. Specifically, their handling of Additional Living Expenses (ALE) was a clear attempt to misinterpret the terms, requiring unnecessary documentation and ultimately refusing payment. They provided no specific policy clause to justify these actions. What's even more troubling is the lack of accountability from the Colorado Division of Insurance (***). Despite our formal complaints, the *** found Allstate not out of compliance, without ever reviewing our actual policy. Director ****** ***** refusal to compare policy language to insurer actions was alarming, as this is supposed to be the ***s responsibility. Further, the *** tried to charge us over $2,200 for a public records request, an attempt to prevent transparency and accountability. Their willingness to charge fees for publicly available information is concerning, especially when the *** doesn't use its resources to hold insurers accountable for their actions. Homeowners in ******** need to be aware of these tactics and carefully read your policies to understand what you are truly entitled to. Insurance companies like Allstate should not be allowed to manipulate the system for their gain. Its time to demand accountability from both insurers and regulators to protect consumers.
