      A month after paying my homeowners premium in full, for my new home they re-evaluated and auto dented my bank account instead of my mortgage escrow. I paid in full for a one year policy, why do they think it is okay to come back a month after I moved in and say replacement cost estimate went up $150,000? Which, by the way is now nearly $300,000 higher than the value of my home. And I was on with customer service for 35 minutes and while on hold, the call disconnected? They hung up? 15 minutes later they haven't called back.

      This is the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. I'm staying in a hotel. I am not able to cook like I usually do because I do not have an oven and its a small kitchen. They do not pay for my laundry so I'm driving home to wash my clothes. I'm calling daily for my adjust to come to an agreement with my contractor and 2 weeks with no call back. My contractor cannot work on my house unless he has approval. Since my second claim this has been a disaster. They let me stay in my house with no showers for 3 weeks before they even answered if my floors can be pulled up. I call the 1800 number and they tell me to wait on the supervisor to call me and not escalate it above that for immediate help. My pet died due to my living condition because they did not put me in a hotel or moved fast enough by responding to the work that needed to be completed. I told them every phone call that I didn't have a shower and she didn't offer me a hotel until she looked at the bylaws. My floor was molding and I was not able to use the showers. This took over 2 weeks for her to respond. They waited until they pulled my toilet out to give me a hotel. If I am texting the claims and leaving emails daily with no response that is horrible customer service.

      Allstate made a mistake on my vin number and I didn't notice it until about the fourth month in. So I called to have it corrected and my policy doubled. They sent multiple forms with various prices on it. Even sent me other peoples mail from Allstate. But yup spoke to ***** about it and even though they acknowledged it was a fault on their end they still want me to pay the amount they say I owe. Cancelled the policy because they have no interest in taking ownership of the situation. Would not recommend!!!

      Allstate is probably the worst insurance you could find to protect yourself. Slow, prorated claims and lies about having sent payments. Beware of this company. Their tactics border on thievery.

      Awful company I canceled my car insurance and renters 2 weeks early and they refused to give me the refund for those 2 weeks I paid for. They were so nice and helpful when signing up but now very helpful. I got a refund from the old company with no problem. I guess I should've known better. When I called Allstate to cancel I was told I would get a refund within 14 days if I was getting one. I paid for a month so I should have gotten one. This is a awful company I will tell everyone who asks to run to a better company they don't treat their customers good.

      Terrible company! ******! On November 14th, I experienced a house fire and filed a claim with Allstate the following day. The first vendor assigned to my claim was unprofessional, violated their contract, and mishandled my belongings, failing to return everything. Due to their poor performance, I transitioned to a new company by Allstate. I was told they have to send out THEIR VENDORS I cannot choose my own. Despite this, Allstate later assigned another vendor who had already BREECHED their contract before my claim, as confirmed by ******* *********. It is very perplexing why Allstate would involve this vendor in my case after breeching the contract with Allstate. ******* then asked me to review the list of damaged items prepared by the first vendor. The list was incomplete, including only food, medicine, a baby chair, and a ******, while ignoring many other damaged belongings. Shortly after, ******* informed me that no further action would be taken because my claim was now under investigation. When I requested the corporate office address from ******* *********, she provided a different address than the one listed on my statement. I feel very misled by ******* and have been waiting over a month for a resolution. I have reached out numerous of times day after day with no updates during the claim. It is unclear why Allstate initiated an investigation now when the evident issues stem from their vendors misconduct. I was told that I had to pay the vendor despite them breeching the contract and cleaning my belongings! Allstate should be held accountable for any funds being paid out! Enduring this ordeal while recovering from childbirth and struggling with postpartum depression has caused me immense emotional distress. I feel abandoned, targeted and unfairly treated by Allstate, a company I trusted to provide dependable support during such a challenging time failed my family tremendously! This is a complete nightmare!

      Allstate are the scammers of home owners insurance, says they cover what you ask them so they can get your business, then when something happens to your home they say oh we don't cover that, ***** ***** the Ohio agent is very old and need to retire.

      I have been with Allstate for over 23 years. I have numerous home and car and personal umbrella and business accounts. When I filed a claim for wind damage in my yard, they were horrible. First of all the website made me file twice. I have been getting calls several times a day. Everyone asking for last 4 digits of my social security number. Many repeated calls and repeated questions. Came to the point that I thought I am being harassed. At the end they gave an estimate that was less than one third of actual cost. I found the company very poorly organized. Right hand does not know the left hand. I am planning to change all of my accounts with them to another company.

      I just recently was hit on my motorcycle by a person that has Allstate as their insurance company and they have admitted fault but gave me a lowball settlement offer and when I explained to them the trauma it has caused they didn't seem to care or have any empathy for me and how its all effected me. They want me to go to doctors and run up bills through my own primary care and then they will review it and pay if they think it was necessary? I argued with the adjuster and her supervisor but both want to do nothing but argue with me. I said maybe I should just get a lawyer and their opinion was yes maybe you should so I guess that's what I'm going to do but it does seem to be ridiculous that they would spend all this money on lawyers and that they would be willing to go to court when they have already admitted fault. Insurance people are getting a reputation for not caring about people even their own insurers so these insurance companies have a problem of people hating insurance agencies and the people that work for them, they just don't care about anything but the money and even when they are in the wrong they will still fight to make sure they only pay the minimum amount they have to. This company especially has a bad reputation for doing this to people and is one of the reasons I canceled my insurance through them and went to progressive. I got better rates and a much friendlier service, Allstate charges way too much to be insured by them and most of your money goes to the agency that issues the insurance when you can just go to the web site and do it yourself and pay half the amount you would pay going through the local agency. Allstate has rude representatives and would seriously reconsider having Allstate as my insurance company.

      Allstate is the worst company I have had interactions with. We got a home insurance from them through a local agency. After a month I received a letter from them that our insurance will be cancelled effective November 14th because they had issues with my roof. We replaced the roof. My local agent called them to reinstate us. He told me that they refused despite of the changed roof. I found another company which provided insurance starting on November 14. Two weeks ago I received a letter from my mortgage company that Allstate send them a bill for an entire year of coverage which they paid. I called Allstate on November 27 to ask them to refund the check. They said that they haven't received this check but I still have an active insurance with them. When I told them that I received a cancellation notice with an effective date of November 14, the representative told me that cancellation doesn't terminate the policy, therefore I have to pay the premium between November 14 and November 27. Apparently Allstate doesn't care about the quality of their business. I see that their customer review rating is 1.12 starts out of ***** reviews.
