Allstate is the worst company I have had interactions with. We got a home insurance from them through a local agency. After a month I received a letter from them that our insurance will be cancelled effective November 14th because they had issues with my roof. We replaced the roof. My local agent called them to reinstate us. He told me that they refused despite of the changed roof. I found another company which provided insurance starting on November 14. Two weeks ago I received a letter from my mortgage company that Allstate send them a bill for an entire year of coverage which they paid. I called Allstate on November 27 to ask them to refund the check. They said that they haven't received this check but I still have an active insurance with them. When I told them that I received a cancellation notice with an effective date of November 14, the representative told me that cancellation doesn't terminate the policy, therefore I have to pay the premium between November 14 and November 27. Apparently Allstate doesn't care about the quality of their business. I see that their customer review rating is 1.12 starts out of ***** reviews.

Unacceptable Service and Lack of Support! Dealing with Allstate Insurance has been a nightmare. I filed a claim for roof damage, which is exactly why I pay my premiums every month, only to have it denied. Their reasoning was flimsy at best, and its clear they were more interested in protecting their bottom line than helping a loyal customer. I jumped through all their hoops, provided every piece of documentation they requested, and was still met with excuses and delays. It feels like they're looking for any possible way to avoid paying out claims. What's the point of having insurance if they wont step up when you actually need them? I would NOT recommend Allstate to anyone. Save yourself the frustration and find a company that actually values its customers and honors its commitments.

So I called Allstate for a quote and I spoke to a gentleman by the name of ****. He told me that as we were speaking, he was working on my quote and would have it to me by and a phone call. Come to find out that the original email that I received that was dated November 22 had one enclosed for October 2 and the quote was dated for 927. When I called to let him know that I was interested in his quote. He stated that he couldnt give me the offer stated in the quote that was sent because their product to change as of October 15. The gentleman did not do his homework. I went as far as I could go to corporate and they still wouldnt help me get that quote locked in so I just want everyone to know that they need to be cautious when dealing with people because they dont do their homework. They dont change their products. Theyre too lazy to make sure that was getting sent out to the consumer is updated correctly and they false advertise

Allstate Csr insurance is the WORST!! Don't forget business with them please they won't represent you at the time of an accident, they hit my as back in April 19 2024 and ***** ********* the adjuster they assigned me didn't do anything to help me get my car repaired, I reached out to a manager **** Myliori and she basically told me to f*** off that they weren't going to help me. I've stayed loyal to Allstate for 8 years plus and I I can't believe they didn't help me in the time of need !.. please once again don't do business with them they are the WORST. They need serious professionals because it took ***** a month to reach out to me and Also the manager **** after various calls and voicemails !!.. I will cancel my policy with them ASAP and Get legal representation because they are. No Good thanks for NOTHING Allstate.

My mother was with Allstate in multiple states for 35 years. When we moved into SC the premium went up to almost 3 times the cost. We had to cancel. But instead of Allstate who promises to be there. They betrayed my mother by charging her a fee because we had to cancel. And the woman at the place where we paid the bill through did not even care. Yea I am thinking twice about ever recommending Allstate or going back to Allstate.

Worst company ever. I was slammed into in a parking lot this week and because the guilty (by admission) party has Allstate they are only accepting 80% liability regardless of facts or statements - seems to be common practice of theirs to s**** innocent parties to save a dollar when their customers are at fault.

Allstate Insurance/Esurance/Integron/ whatever they are calling themselves is a scam. First of all I had Esurance for 1-year, then when my insurance ended, they automatically switched me over to Direct Auto (Integon) without my permission, approval. They hide letters of "permission" to continue taking money out of your bank account, without sending you policy cards, letters or information of coverage you have and then I ended up getting insurance through another vendor therefore was paying double insurance, because they used my "auto" payment again without my permission. They hide through so called, letters sent, but do not wait for you to sign for approval. They are a scam and they are ALL connected to one big Insurance SCAM!!!! They are bad people taking money from hard working people. I really hope someone stops them from this cycle of greed. You will get what's coming to you if you work for these places.

******** customer service. I was trying to cancel my auto policies. Emailed my agent, called my agent-no response. Called the number that was supposed to be my agent and was passed around to 4 different **** before finally getting connected to someone in a "specialized department" who could help. Due to this, I do not ever recommend using Allstate. They are very attentive when you are getting quotes but if you need anything, you are absolutely not "in good hands with Allstate."

We had homeowners with Allstate for over 30 years and over that time the rate kept increasing. Ultimately it was over $3800 and that was with their so-called 20% discount. They never sent me a renewal notice but they informed me that they sent it to my mortgage company (my mortgage was paid off). Yet, they did send me a late payment notice and a date that my policy would be cancelled. They billed me for a month and would not back down and I had to pay so as not to ruin my credit. Note that we have never made a claim in the 30 plus years we were with them. I had already gotten another policy through Geico with Travelers (due to the age of my house) for over $1400 cheaper with much better coverage. YOU ARE NOT IN GOOD HANDS WITH ALLSTATE!!!

Allstate is terrible if you make a claim on your house. They call often saying they are here to help but will only partially pay for home repairs after a claim is made. I had to pay out of pocket $2,700 and still don't have a yard or fence repaired which will be more out of pocket. I was an Allstate homeowner insurance policy for 19 years and having to pay out of pocket for home repair. Not sure if there is a decent insurance company but it's not Allstate.
