I went to the store on moynd road on jan3,4,7,2025 to get onion for 7for $1 and the potatoes 7for $1 and all those days they were sold out,so I ask the lady manager can I get a rain check and she said no,not on 7 for a dollar,I feel that the store should have enough stock for customer who shop your fine store,I'm a very goid customer I even have a ********************** credit card,I cab see if one dat our of stick but 3days?plus I had to pay someone to bring me to the store,is that Meijer policy to run out of items to get people to come to meijer.I hope you can make this right.Business Response

Good afternoon- I went to the Meijer on 96-Middlebelt in ******* to return an item this was 1/2/25. I paid with 2 cards a credit card and my debit card when I returned the item I received a receipt and waited a few days for the funds to be returned to my card the refund has not been refunded. There is another issue that has come to my attention the return receipt does not have the card information I used to make the purchase I have no card ending in 6459. When I went back into the store the manager was rude blew my concern off and said there was nothing she could do she was very unprofessional and made me extremely uncomfortable the lack of empathy she displayed Today is the 8th and no monies have been refunded to me. This poor or lack there of customer service is low level at best I have shopped here for years and never had an issue until all I want is my money returned I returned your product. Since she advised me there was nothing she could do Im filing a formal complaint a quick resolution would be ideal I have attached the receipt of purchase and the return receipt which shows the wrong card number. If accounting needs to pull the numbers Im sure there will be a surplus for the amount that I am do since it was never returned back to my card.Business Response

I purchased 2 bottles of **** ******* in 750ml that happened to also include free glasses. This store offered a coupon for $8 off if you purchase any TWO (2) 750ml or larger bottles I contacted Meijer and they told me due to these purchases being gift sets they are somehow not bottles and therefore do not qualify. I replied and received no response. This stinks of a bait and switch and one of the worst experiences I have had with a store I have long been a fan of. Per the provided photo, you can see that no exclusions exist for a gift set it only state the volume requirement and quantity required. I would not have purchased this quantity, or product, otherwise.Business Response

I made an appt with the Meijer ********** for Jan 1. I was surprised they were open but their online portal allowed me to make an appoint as well as sent me a confirmation, for which I attached. I originally went to the wrong Meijer, that Meijer did not have an eye clinic so they pointed me to Aurora and I headed over. I knew that I would be a couple minutes late as a result of this going to the wrong Meijer so I called the Aurora store and they told me they could not transfer me. Ugh.... Ok, that would have been an excellent time to tell me they are CLOSED! But they did not. I pulled over, found the number and their VM was on. NOTHING about being closed for New Years. I left a message that I will be a few minutes late, I got there 2 minutes later than my 1230 appt (text attached) and found they are closed! *** even....I wish I took a pic but the sign that was there saying they are closed said closed for Christmas, NOTHING about New Years. Has no one been working there since Christmas to change the sign?I got NO call of apology for them wasting my time. I planned my day around this appt. I just now tried to do the right thing and submit this to the eye clinic where i just get an error I am submitting spam. (see attached). It is like there is no way to talk to these people. Since it was the website that offered the times available to ME, I didnt pick them, I assume the other times slots were taken by unsuspecting people like myself who got there to find the eye clinic closed....It is not that far fetched that they would be open on Jan 1. The ******* eye clinic WAS opened, the ONLY reason I didnt pick them was because they didnt take my insurance. I am adding store credit to my resolution, I dont expect it or even really want a credit, I was re-ignited when I typed my complaint to not be able to send it cause it thinks I am spam, wasted more time, I think getting to theclinic to find it closed deserves something. Xcscia ****Deardear ***** I spent a fortune with you guys the grocery store on 95th and Western the reason why this is unacceptable but because almost every order that I've made has been baked and trickery to access my debit card through your partners with your severably and jointly liable for this b a i t and switch and this has been going on for more than a year this has been going on when I lived at ******************** first floor which I no longer live there legally and you still have tricked me even on valuable very needed art materials food ********** peppers even other critical items and they should have to pay at least $200 gift card as I had a stroke and a heart attack when I base my whole meal around something that I couldn't even finish preparing because they tricked me about its availability and when I waited there was nothing in the bag and the legislative backs me under 8:15 ilcs and I would just ask that they give another gift card but some free food or something let me pick and then let me know when it's coming so I can look out for it to make up for this that would be a fair resolution because 8:15 prohibits deception in ******** the legislative backs me with a false representative statements false a** false claims and false misrepresentation on cyberspace to defraud me and in addition to that instant card together with its partner m e i j e r s grocery store foods *** has from its corporate office to its local domicile also bad gas it refuses to pay for when it damages engines it's repeated offenses it's quality it's it's crappy sometimes most of the time it's still a constant dental injuries you know it's just unbelievable but I depended on you guys it was a contract there and I relied upon it and I was injured by not being able to eat as a diabetic many days retaliation after reporting you guys and much more

I went into the store and purchased the sale that they were offering if you buy a 12 pack of cans for ********* Zero for $13.99 they offer a $4.00 rebate and final price is $9.00. They no nothing about the rebate or any mail in slips. They do have a QR code to scan but that wants a AB# and there is nothing on the receipt or the sign of that information. I contacted the rebate center and they no nothing about this rebate from their company that they are offering. So what is that sign up because its misleading if no one is going to honor the rebate.Business Response

Meijers refuses to accept manufactures replacement claim on a medical product. The claim involves a medical inhaler that was defective. I purchased / insurance purchased a medical inhaler that was defective the counter failed to operate. I called *********** concerning a replacement and was given a claim number for the replacement. Meijer refused to replace the product without a new prescription from my physician - Please note this is a defective product claim I am not making a new purchase of the item and the failure is not my physician's fault he just prescribed the inhaler , he did not manufacture it Astra Zeneca did.Business Response

On September 2 of 2024, I purchased a 48oz tub of the Meijer brand (Purple Cow) rainbow sherbet. Upon consuming some of the product several days later, I discovered that there were hundreds of tiny pieces of shredded plastic or cellophane mixed into the product. Unfortunately, I had consumed a portion of the product before discovering this. When reaching out to Meijer customer service for a resolution, I was asked to give all the necessary purchasing and product information. When giving this information, I asked for further correspondence by email only. After giving the requested information and receiving a confirmation of receipt, I never heard from Meijer again, regarding the issue. There was no attempt to make things right or even to issue the ***** $3.50 refund. I've since had a couple people I know reach out to me and point out the same issue. I go in there today to purchase some items. I grab these paper plates because the sign on the incap say $2.99. I take them up to the front and ask the cashier to check the price because they're on a shelf with a tag that says $2.99 and shows her the picture another cashier comes and try to tell me they can't honor it because they're sat holiday plates and they might've just ran out. I tell the lady that's not true. It's a whole four pallets of plates in the back by the dog food. I ask to speak to a manager ********* the manager came and said that the tag was expired and that he couldn't honor the price and brought another tag up and said they were $5.99 buy two get one free but they rang up $9.99. I explained to him that's not my problem someone didn't do their job. I've been coming to this particular store since they opened and I've never had a problem with getting stuff for the price it was marked. I've been there where cashiers can take up to $5 off an item if it's priced wrong. The cashier that rang we up was very professional she's new but the lady who jumped in our conversation was very rude and so was the manager. I guess they never heard the customer is always right and when stuff is marked a certain price you have to sell it for that price. I come to this store at least 5 times a week and this is by far the worst experience I've ever had over some paper plates.Business Response
