On October 18th this business that buys used phones received my phones.
They did a quality check gave me a price they would pay and I accepted.
On this day December 8th I have yet to receive the $1,308 they offered for the phones.
I have tried to call and email them numerous times over the past month and at first they responded with its processing etc but then I started to get no responses. No one answers the phones and no one ever answered the emails. I just want my money and if the business is broke and can't pay I want my phones.Initial Complaint

I mailed NYC Phone Buyer LLC my phone to trade it in for $125. Attachment
Screenshot_20241125-******.png shows that my phone was sent and received by their office.
I haven't received payment for my phone and I'm not getting any response from their office. I was supposed to have a check mailed to me but it never came. They told me the check was sent on October 11 and it was delivered by October 21 but I never received it. Please see the email thread in the attached documents below.
I talked with the USPS and filed a missing mail request but that didn't yield anything. I have since moved away from the *** * ****** *** address but this was after the check was mailed out. I moved to my new address at **** ******* *** on November 15.Initial Complaint

The initial date of the transaction was within October 2024. This is regarding an apple iphone 14 pro Max that was sent to NYC Phone buyer for an agreed upon payment. However I have still not received payment of $463 almost two months later. They have also not responded to many emails, phone calls, and voicemails to resolve this issue.Initial Complaint

I sent two nearly perfect ****** *** to NYC Phone Buyer. One was a ** *** *** and one was a ** ***. We negotiated an offer for both of the phones. Offer was confirmed on October 22, 2024. I elected to be paid via *****. I was then told that there was a restriction on their ***** account and I could be paid via cash app or by check. I was pushed toward a check as the preferred method. The check was received and cashed on October 30, 2024. The check then returned for non sufficient funds on November 1, 2024. I requested the phones back since I no longer wanted to play these games. I was told once I accepted an offer they couldn’t no longer send the phones back. I have reached out via email and now text and received several responses to provide a picture of the returned check notice from the bank. I provided a picture of the bank notice and now the company stopped communicating. I am still trying to get someone to respond to be issued a new form of payment. Today is November 25, 2024 and I still have not been paid.Initial Complaint

I accepted an offer to sell my iphone 13 and I shipped it as instructed. Proof of delivery 10/22/2024. I followed up with emails because no payment received a month later. I then received an email stating I needed to unlock the phone. I had completed this prior to shipping. I have sent a few emails and left a voicemail as well as continuously calling with no answer. There has been no contact from the business other than emails initiated from them, no responses to email or phone calls. They offered $277 for my phone and I shipped it and it is in like new condition. I would like my phone back with no charges on return shipping. Even though it has now lost value due to time. Or I would like to be paid the full amount as offered.Initial Complaint

Device (***** ***** ***** in Flawless condition) was sent to NYCPHONEBUYER in early October. After waiting a couple of weeks for payment for the value of the phone that was agreed upon ($347), I was informed they were having issues sending payment via ***** and that other options were available. I agreed to have a check sent to me, which was sent approximately a week later. After cashing the check, I was notified by my bank that the check written in the amount of $347 had bounced due to NSF. I called NYCPHONEBUYER to inform of the issue and was told that payment would
Be sent by alternative method (******). On 11/13, Felton R******* sent an email apologizing for the bounced check and would sent payment, which I then requested by *****. I have received no payment of the device, and have followed up via email and via phone call, with no response via either avenue.Initial Complaint

I sold an iPhone to them in September and shipped it to them Upon arrival they lowered the quoted price because of a blemish on the phone, which was not there when I shipped it. They have still not sent me payment for the phone after having it in their possession for over 2 months. I would either like the amount originally quoted by them or to have the phone sent back to me. I will not pay for the return shipping.Initial Complaint

I sent multiple phones in to collect a reimbursement. Once I sent them in Feldon (the owner) stated that the phones Apple ID needed to be turned off. I asked if I could send him the password and id’s and he said yes. I received correspondence that this only worked on one phone and the offer has been reduced by about $400. I then asked that the phones be returned to me. I sent them a message and at this point Felton stated that the phones all but one had been recycled. I asked that he at least pay me the $150 he had promised for the one phone. He asked for my Venmo or cash app accounts. I sent him my Venmo information. After waiting weeks I sent another email asking when I would receive reimbursement. He said I will update you in a few days. Again weeks came and went I asked once again that he reimburse me immediately and I have now been completely ghosted. I have all correspondence in an email.Initial Complaint

Company made me an offer of $850 for an ****** ** *** *** based on a questionnaire on their website. I was supplied with a mailing label to send my phone to them. After they received my phone, I had to contact them to ask about the payout through ***** that I had picked on the website. They responded that my phone had damage that resulted in a new offer of $660. I initially asked for proof and they said it would be a few days, to which I responded to just send me the $660. They said their ***** was locked out so they could send me a check or ****** (minus fees). I requested a check, which arrived a few days later. I promptly deposited the check. Upon checking my mail a few weeks later, I had a letter from my bank saying the check had been returned due to insufficient funds.
