      My son had a checking account with this bank. He was victim of a scam that bilked his account of $10,000, by sending him a bogus check and requiring him to send money to a 3rd party right away (I know, it was a dumb thing to do). He didn't have $10,000 in his account, but because he had OVERDRAFT PROTECTION, the bank paid out the money. PNC bank then accused my son of fraud, froze all his account, did a cursory "review" and demanded he pay up. They treated the victim like the criminal and didn't give a **** about helping him!I advise two things: first, don't have overdraft protection on your accounts with any bank unless you are sure you will never be scammed! Second, don't do business with ONC bank. They don't care about you, only about "their" money.

      I got an auto loan. Paid it off. Called to get lien release letter to be emailed or faxed to me. They refused. Said they would mail it 7-10 business days. The money was taken directly out of my account to their account. So no waiting for checks to clear. They have the cash already. They can't guarantee that it will be delivered or not lost. Now a days they can do everything on line but this. Unacceptable. Do not get a loan from them.

      I tried to open an account and filled out all the I formation for online account. Then for the verification process, they could not do because I dont text. I closed the account the same day. I am still getting a statement from the bank. A different story from anytime you call customer service. All I want is a statement saying account is closed. They are now telling me I need to go to a branch. This is a terrible system they have and business.

      So far I am not impressed. I opened an account almost two weeks ago. After waiting several days, I was ready to fund my account. I tried the external account transfer, but my bank was not listed. I knew it was linked because the small deposits were processed. A few days later, my bank showed up, so I attempted the transfer. It did not go through. I contacted PNC through ******* and they kept asking me the same questions over and over again. I contacted my bank and they said to use their "Send Money" feature. I did that, but didn't know my PNC account number to deposit. Finally I got mail that had my account number on it. I was able to make the deposit, but it still has not shown up in my PNC account!

      I tried to make a deposit at the ******** ** branch via ATM. I deposited 2 - 50s and 1 - 100 during processing it spit the 2 - 50s back out and cancelled the transaction not giving me credit for the 100 deposit . I went into bank and the lady told me i had to file a dispute. Said they would deposit a " 100 provisional credit while they investigated ". well 6 weeks went by and I get a letter telling me there was no proof of my deposit and they are taking the 100 back. I called the number on the letter to try to get documents that led to the decision, good luck ! I got transferred around to 2 different people that basically told me they couldn't help me . I had to go to the branch. I'm currently looking to change banks to get away from these crooks . its a shame i've been with them 25 yrs .

      The staff were collectively harassing me. Staff was wasting my time so I couldnt open bank account at another location. Then they called the other branches to do the same

      Not FDIC compliant. They do not care about their customers and could care less if you stay or go. **************** is non-existent, pending you can actually reach someone that understands your issue, and if something happens with your money - they will do absolutely nothing to get it back. I banked with them for over a decade and they could truly care less about helping me or keeping my business. I used to think they had better customer support than other larger banks, but truly I have never engaged with people who could care less.

      Whos money is my account? Is it my money? Or is it PNCs? I made a purchase online, I verified my identity through PNC 2-way authentication process and accepted the charges to only find out they declined the payment and locked my debit card and then I had to call them and fix the issue. The time sensitive order was cancelled and they screwed me over. This is the last time. **************** was terrible and useless. Im taking ALL of my money elsewhere. S**** this incompetent and worthless bank.

      I opened new accounts there just a couple months ago, and have had nothing but problems since. I was promised the account I opened would be simple to make large transfers from to an external account. Turns out, I was limited to a single 2k transfer once a month. It took my account getting blocked after multiple attempts to figure out why a trip in to the local branch, and several hours for them just to get the block lifted. Then it took more calls, more hours and another trip to get my account upgraded, so I could do larger transfers. I was told I could do up to 10 k per day. I was able to make a single transfer then got blocked from my account yet again. Another set of phone calls, hours wasted, and another trip into the local branch. They couldn't fix it, but did finally manage an override with a senior manager to transfer the amount I needed. This whole process took nearly 2 MONTHS! Now, after all that time, I find my credit card with them blocked while I'm trying to pay for my groceries. I call, and after long holds and several people in customer service they finally figure out it's bc I hadn't paid the credit card bill in 2 months. Well, that's bc I never RECEIVED one! They promise to waive any fees and send a new copy of the bill right away. But the new bill...it still has all the fees on it. So another round of calls and lots of time wasted. And they are refusing to waive any fees, bc they say it's my responsibility to check for my bill since I use their online banking app. They want me to pay for their errors. This bank is a complete scam!
