How does a place with a 1.1 rating get an A+ rating. That seems ridiculous to me. I get that the rating is not based on the reviews, but it seems that the rating is in fact unreliable. I doubt that they even care about their reviews at this point.PNC stole my money. I went to a mobile teller machine. Note that this is not an ATM. It a machine in which you interact with an actual person who is remote. It is supposed to provide the same level of service as an actual teller. The branch that I went to, does not have an onsite teller. At the machine I asked for a routine withdrawal. Everything seemed to work fine until the moment that I was supposed to get me money. The machine disconnected from the teller and spit out a blank receipt. I reconnected immediately and was told that a dispute was being filed. They said not to worry because they deal with this alot. At the time, I didn't realize what that really meant. I expressed my concern, but I had a meeting, and I decided to accept her assurances and leave it at that.The bank recorded the withdrawal that never happened and removed the money from my balance even though no transaction had ever occurred. The mobile teller knew this from the beginning and they still chose to move forward with the transaction. This is utterly unreasonable. Now I am told that it requires an investigation which will take days. Their customer service has refused to help. It has been a disaster. I can't believe that a company would do this. This is a problem that they caused completely. This company is complete trash.PNC Financial Services Group, Inc.

I asked them to cancel a check which seemed like a very daunting task for the girl over the phone. Once it was finally done she said something about how the stop payment was only good for 6 months, I asked what happens after 6 months and instead of answering she put me on hold and then hung up the phone. Im unsure on if she didnt know the answer or just didnt care to answer but it left me feeling confused and uncomfortable with someone like that handling my money.PNC Financial Services Group, Inc.

I phoned today to inquire if a check had cleared yet because it was not on my statementautomated system stated my a phone privileges had been suspended connected with **** which began asking questions on the one account I was inquiring about and I answeredshe asked if I had another account, informing her yesquestions on the 2nd account began, which I NEVER utilizebecause I could not answer questions on that account, she denied me privileges on the account I wanted information onYES, I was NOT very nice at allnot the first time I, and our business, have encountered issuesnow I will go to the branch and remove a vast amount to transfer to my other bankneed to be taught southern hospitality, periodwe all know their drill, we take this matter seriouslyREALLY???PNC Financial Services Group, Inc.

PNC took over our mortgage in late 2022. Their escrow analyst made a huge error on our escrow taking an extra $300+ from our account without notice. When we reached out to request resolution the customer service we received was lacking compassion, understand, and effort for a speedy correction. I requested immediate resolution and we are now almost a month in and my payment due is $300+ then it should be. Their escrow analysis team somehow decided that my county taxes went from $1700 a year to $5000 a year. I have provided proof of their error, It doesn't take a geniose to see what they did wrong. No one returned my calls and when I finally spoke with a case manager, he seemed lazy and uncaring. I made a formal complaint and received contact from an executive that seems to always be out of the office. Terrible costomer service! Their entire team needs customer service training and understanding that they work for their customers! I have yet to even receive an apology or admission if their error. Treat others the way you would expect to be treated, especially when you basically stole money from my account during hard times with no intent to correct timely.PNC Financial Services Group, Inc.

PNC is a heaping pile of trash, what pathetic excuse for a bank. A few months ago I got. Ache k form selling property I wished to deposit and went to my local branch, they were changing the ATM over to PNC from BBVA so I couldn't use that, the check was too large for my mobile deposit limit, so my option becomes going inside. I asked to deposit the check and they were not capable of doing it, something with the merger, he said to use the ATM. I pointed to the fact that it wasn't able to be used. I asked what we can do, given that I took time from work and my day to do this and didn't want to sit on a 50k check. Nothing, they haf no plan in place at all, even opening another account wasn't an option. He told me I could try another ATM, which I did, but that ATM did not take checks. I followed up with customer service stating how unacceptable this is. You're a bank PNC, I should be able to deposit a check without taking literal hours from my day. They gave me the address of an ATM that accepts checks, I went and guess what the ATM was not equipped to do? That's right, accept checks, I called customer service back and they could offer me an apology, nothing of substance. I opened an account with Chase and deposited there.PNC Financial Services Group, Inc.

They took over BBVA Compass and have been nothing but a nightmare ever since. A moving company knowingly cashed a check for over $1,000 which turned out to be a crooked moving company did not move anything they said they would move on the quote absolutely cheated us out of the money they PNC Bank employee put the information in wrong and they refuse to put the money back into my account also another employee did a credit check wrong and put it in as a regular credit card instead of a secured credit card and cost us more money on that one I would steer clear of this BankPNC Financial Services Group, Inc.

This Bank is the worst Bank I have ever dealt with. They will NOT let me cash out my CD that came due. NO One at this bank knows anything; but that it takes 10 Business Days for someone to get back with you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This institution needs to be investigated by the Federal Reserve and Congress. They are definitely hiding somethingPNC Financial Services Group, Inc.

1 starI made a simple mistake when I set up autopay for my new card in 2020. The website seemed to be asking me for an end date with no option for "ongoing" so I entered a date that was two years later, thinking I would call them at some point to change it to "forever/ongoing." Well, with the craziness of the pandemic for those two years, I completely forgot to find out why I had to put an end date. My autopay ended last year and I did not realize it until a 30 day late was reported by PNC bank on my credit report. My great credit score immediately dropped by 70+ points. As soon as I realized what happened, I paid my account up to date and set up autopay again. I spoke with several people at PNC and requested a goodwill removal of the 30 day late after explaining my mistake with the website autopay system, and got absolutely nowhere. Bottom line, PNC doesn't care about its customers at all, and I would not recommend PNC products to anyone.Review fromMatthew M

If your a business run from this bank. They closed my account after two checks were deposited from my customers. I let them know the customer said they made a mistake on writing the check out of the wrong account and they would be cancel. The checks were never credited and were on hold for 7 days anyways. So there was no chance of liability for PNC. Not only did they close my account they would not release my funds. Instead they will be "mailed". Do not use this bank at all cost.PNC Financial Services Group, Inc.

My wife inherited a property that PNC holds the mortgage. She jump through all the hoops this firm asked of her. She wanted to pay the mortgage however, when the mortgage was transferred to her, the payment amount doubled, which made it difficult to keep up with this mortgage. She applied for a loan modification, tried to refinanced. For over the last 7-8 months they have dragged things out. Each time she contacts PNC, she gets a different person, that has to be brought up to speed and they tell her something different. She has excellent credit, which makes you wonder, Are they interested in having good customers? Or are they willing to force a foreclosure? Is PNC really a financial institution or they in some other business? I would give PNC minus stars.PNC Financial Services Group, Inc.
