You would think changing your address with a bank for a car loan would be fairly simple. As long as you have your loan#, SSN, pin and cell phone handy to confirm its legit, RIGHT? Not PNC, I changed it on the online profile in January 2023 and they kept mailing statements for 3 months to the now old address. So, I call the bank at the number listed to specifically change your address and on the 1st call I get a checking account rep who after 8 minutes transfers me to another department because she does not service auto loans. The next lady asks the same validation questions puts me on hold for 10 minutes so hang up and I call back and get the same experience. But this time PNC disconnects after 15 minutes. If PNC cannot facilitate a simple address change, then how can they be handling more important things? I will never use PNC ever again and look forward to terminating this relationship ASAP.

A guy called me the fraud prevention center, I do not even use this bank, but he was very rude. When asked what this bank was he called me stupid & other names. Very unprofessional & if I did use this bank I would never again, but since I don't, I definitely never will.

on 4/13/2023 I called PNC customer service as they were taking ********************** payments out of 2 accounts at different institutions, in the same month for 2 months. I was informed that there was an account on the "backend" that was not visible to the customer through the online banking portal. I asked to have that account removed and to just apply the second payment to the principle which was done. I then logged in on 5/15/2023 to see that it had happened again. This time both payments came from the same account. So rather than removing the "backend" account they changed it to match my existing account that I put in on the online banking portal. They again said that the request has been submitted and they will mail me a check for the refund amount. I have never had such terrible service from a bank in my life. If it were easier to change who caries your mortgage, I would change, but the consumer has zero control over that and with interest rates on the rise it is difficult to refinance. This is absolutely obsurd!

We have been with PNC for 20+ years. I initially pulled my savings and opened an account elsewhere because they had become annoying in how they handled business. Now, I am in a difficult interim, not late on billsa previous balance transfer offer I had with PNC had been fully paid and on time. Now, they sent me another balance transfer offer that said pre-approved. So I called in because could use it right now. What do they do after I called and spent time on the phone signing up?! Flat out denied. Said some nonsense about status with Experian. I dont buy it and dont care. They had sent me a pre-approved offer, I spent my valuable time signing up, and get zero return. This is absolutely, hands down THE worst banking company! I strongly urge others to ***** clear and give your business to a bank that appreciates its customers. And follows thru on their word.

For 16 years my son's special needs trust sat waiting for insurance money should I or my husband die. They quietly started taking out monthly fees when he turned 18. I have other accounts there including a checking account. I noticed the a problem when I printed out one of my statements and there was less than 50 dollars left in his account! Without notifying me they had decided I needed a different minimum balance. Meanwhile I had thousands in checking and it took 3 calls before anyone told me I could just transfer a few hundred from checking and avoid fees. They essentially stole money from my disabled son and tried to justify it because I didn't notice it earlier! Watch them like a hawk or they will steal your money! Better yet avoid PNC like the plague it is.

If I could give them -10 stars I will ,my checking account was suddenly closed by pnc without any prior indication of its closure or rationale as to why. All I was being told is that pnc reserves the right to close down any account without reason.i have never had bounced checks ,over draft etc.. I kept my account good at the best of my ability ,you cannot rely on this bank so take your money and go somewhere else ,it was such an insane experiance especially knowing I haven't done anything and no reasons given, had to wait all week to clear my money then go take it out and now waiting for my next appointment to open a new account at a diffrenet bank ,such an annoying inconvenience and such an unprofessional experience.

I have been a member of PNC Bank ever since they were called Compass Bank/BBVA, back in 2011. Ever since They changed there name to PNC bank, things were drastically going down hill. On early February of 2023, I have been getting random and miscellanies transactions that were charged 0.01 every hour. Eventually that would last for a couple days until the price rounded up to around $50 dollars total. I ended up calling the PNC bank a few weeks later to see if there is a way to rectify the situation, however, my only option was to submit my debit card as "compromised" and then to reorder another card so that way that would cease the unknown random transactions. However, that made absolutely no difference, instead, random transactions continued from there. On 05/05/2023 another transaction from a car insurance company called Root Car Insurance was charged on my account for $144. Once again, calling customer service to rectify the situation and hopefully cancelling that transaction even though it was on "Pending". My only option was to wait until Monday, until the transactions goes through and once again close your card and submit it as "compromised". The situation didn't make sense to me because even though it was in the "pending", it still should have been disapproved. Unfortunately on that same day, I decided to Cancel my long membership as a PNC/ BBVA/ Compass Bank user. This needs to change now!

PNC does not protect their customers. As customers, we can do better. They do not look for your best interest. Run as far as you can and find another bank. If your account gets hacked they tell you SORRY. But unfortunately, I cant live on that

I'm currently pressing fraud charges and suing PNC financial services group for locking me out of my money market account. It started a few years ago but I just caught them in the act and got a local branch to print out the proof of fraud. They target people with money market accounts and freeze their assets from being transferred. I wanna make my own money work for me thank you.

Spoke to customer service, specifically “***** *” who clearly should not be in customer service. I was charged overdraft despite several deposits that had been pending for days because they chose to process a payment made 3 days later before any of my deposits. Crappy company who like to scam customers for overdraft.
