My business account was suddenly closed by pnc without any prior indication of its closure or rationale as to why. All I was being told is that pnc reserves the right to close down any account without reason. This is a medical practice business account, 2 years after Covid annd struggling to stand on our feet. Also comes on the heels of 2 years of heaping praise on medical practitioners as hero’s (I knew it was all a scam) I believe this practice by the banks are illegal and hurts small businesses and the federal government needs to halt this practice asapPNC Financial Services Group, Inc.

Well I guess ** joining the 1 star review gang. I had the worst customer service ever yesterday inside the bank. I had forgotten my pin for ***** and was locked out. So I went in to change my pin. Big mistake! The woman that I had dealt with in the past had just finished with a customer, she greeted me, noticed who I was, and said oh wait- Ill get someone to help you. Out comes *********************.. I spent about 45 minutes with him going in circles- he had no idea what he was doing, never solve my problem but oddly enough, took my phone and looked through my banking info which is highly inappropriate. The second time he did it , I asked what are you looking for? Well y o shorten this saga. I know why she passed me to him, she wasnt busy, in fact she sat outside the office looking in at us . I will br closing my account with PNC.PNC Financial Services Group, Inc.

On a recorded line, the bank and I made arrangements that none of my accounts would be for overdraft protection. A month later I put $600 into my reserve account date transferred it into my checking and allowed me to spend it. I thought my money was safe in my savings. I didn’t think I had to transfer it to my other bank. Obviously I did. I told them I want to hear the recording from March 8 when their employee insinuated, and made it assured if I didn’t have the money in the account I would be declined never once. Did they tell me this could happen. I want my $600 back. I didn’t authorize my savings to be overdraft protection for my checking and nobody ever told me that was a policy. She told me none of my accounts were for overdraft protection all of my accounts if there’s no money, it will be declined. They lied. For over a year when I made purchases for the same amount, they would think it was a duplicate. They would put the money back into my account and allow me to spend it just so they could investigate find out it wasn’t a duplicate and then make me go minus money. I have another bank account if that money is spent and they need to investigate a double amount there’s no way that they allow me to spend it again if it’s already spent PNC does having them as your bank there ways of banking I have cost me to go minus money, over and over and over again Because they’re a bank they can get away with it. They are horrible in 2023. Why are they still banking like it’s 1900 there’s got to be a lawyer out there that could help me because what they’re doing is a disgrace I’m going to be closing my bank account with them but in the meantime, I want my $600 back , they f***ed me royally and they have it on recording. They told me how the policy was and they did the opposite.PNC Financial Services Group, Inc.

This bank is the worst institution I've had the misfortune of banking with. To be fair, I never chose this crappy bank in the first place -- I actually was a BBVA customer whose account turned PNC after they merged. Here's the issue I had. I wasn't actually using the account for a while due to not really wanting to bank with PNC in the first place. I had recently gotten married and my partner & I decided to bank with a different institution instead, so the account was just sitting there inactive. This was fine for a bit, because this account had never had any service fees and nothing external was being charged to the account. And yet at some point, PNC started to charge regular service fees -- which I wasn't aware of, since I wasn't using the account. These fees overdrew my account, and they opened up a line of credit against me. At this point, I tried to call and close the account. They told me that I had to pay the line of credit down before closing the account. So I did -- I paid the total amount and figured it was all good. NOPE. The total amount balance never cleared before they hit me with another service fee. Every time I talked to them, it was the same thing. I couldn't close the account without clearing my line of credit, but I couldn't get the credit cleared without them adding more to my balance. So it became this horrible endless loop -- essentially scamming me of my money and keeping me hostage as a customer. Finally I was able to go to the bank in person and close the account, which should have been it. But today, MONTHS after the account was officially closed -- they just notified me that I now have an unpaid balance on my line of credit. WHICH HAS BEEN PAID IN FULL MULTIPLE TIMES AND SHOULDN'T EVEN EXIST AT THIS POINT. So in my experience, this bank is a leech that wants to suck your account dry and refuses to let you go. Less of a business, more of a parasite.PNC Financial Services Group, Inc.

1 starI have a Mortgage Loan with PNC Bank they Took over my Home Loan last year from TIAA Bank and miscalculates the amount and threatens foreclosure. I'm stressing about this and get no answers from the Help on the Phone. I haven't missed any payments and they sent me a Bill that's says I owe. 36 thousand Dollars. I now have to pay my Mortgage over the Phone. I have Bank statements proving I've paid my Loan on time every month. What do I do please help. They wanted to redo my Loan the first time but why should I. I haven't any reason it's them that's made this mistake. I guess I need to Get a Lawyer to help me and *** for threats and Stress in my Life because of this.Review fromJeanelle A

I have had PNC since 2011 and I simply express to the teller that she is treating me different because I am black and she got mad. This happened here in **** and for that reason they close all my accounts and now my credit card has disappeared and I found out that they closed my credit cards as well. Apparently they are getting ready to close my investment accounts as well so I will be looking for another investor but this is the worst bank ever. I had over seven accounts with them and they closed all of them.PNC Financial Services Group, Inc.

My mortgage was sold to pnc. In that process, I got new property insurance and I paid for the entire policy out of pocket. Called pnc March 1st and told them about it. Spoke to three different people and I was told my mortgage payment will go down over $300 a month. First of all, PNC turned around and decided they wanted to pay for my insurance policy too and they wrote my insurance company a check! Because of the mess they caused, I am still waiting for the insurance company to get the check to me for reimbursement so I can pay my escrow account with pnc. Then! I am told oh no, your monthly payment is only going down $188. Those people did not tell you the right amount. When I calculate the principal, interest, and escrow for my property insurance, I noticed what they're having me pay in escrow ends up being over three times the amount of what my property insurance is! My annual property taxes are just $1,300 year. They want me to pay $3,500 a year in theTheyescrow for that. They can't do plain math and just subtract simple numbers off from a monthly payment. The amount they want us to pay is not in our budget. Since they can't do math, I've put in a request for them to remove my escrow completely and I'll just pay my taxes and insurance myself. I'm not giving them a dime more than what they should have. I would love more than anything for PNC Bank to sell my mortgage to someone else!PNC Financial Services Group, Inc.

If I could give zero stars, I would. I am a Realtor in ******** who has had a very frustrating experience with this lending institution. Very unprofessional and most definitely not looking out for their client or their financial/legal obligations set forth in our sales contract. My best advice for mortgage lender is shop local! Us Agents don't get kick-backs when you use our preferred, local lender(s) BUT I CAN PROMISE they'll save you a seat at the closing table (next to THEM!) ON YOUR CONTRACTUAL CLOSE DATE. These big box mortgage companies are total trash and DON'T PROTECT THEIR CUSTOMERS WHO PAY THEM! ????PNC mortgage is THE WORST. Incompetent LOs and useless management who refuse to protect their Customers/Clients by HITTING THE CONTRACTUAL CLOSE DATE. 30 day closings are acceptable and *normal.* Quite frankly, a *competent* lender can usually close in 2-3 weeks depending on your loan type. We now have a 20% down buyer, with exceptional credit, being told they'll be homeless for 4 days because the incompetent LO inserted the WRONG CLOSE DATE into the system. We had a 30 day close for an inventory home. ??PNC Financial Services Group, Inc.

PNC said it doesnt matter what letters they write and send out they can pick and choose whatever letter they want an act on it. that the letters are automated and that theyre not updated in the system so whatevers update in the system now is what it is even though you dont get a letter for it. So they can repo your truck at 1 missed payment if they do choose too.PNC Financial Services Group, Inc.
