      This bank is a complete nightmare after reading all the reviews I know Im not over exaggerating trust me when I say this bank literally steals money out of peoples accounts they are the scums of the earth

      This should have been a 0. I have had ongoing Fraud issues for the last year. This bank has **** Updater. Means if you cancel your card for whatever reason, other entities pay a fee to have your new card automatically updated in their system if the box remains checked. It was never unchecked in my case even though they were all fraud cases. I had no idea about **** updater or the fact PNC doesnt automatically uncheck the box in cases of fraud or lost/stolen cards. Found out tonight from PNC *********** that scammers can pay for this service as well. Yeah, that makes a lot of sense. Does PNC get kickbacks or reimbursed from the government or insurance entities for fraud cases? PNC is supposed to have anti fraud but allowed to have a ***** charge removed from my account to one source unbeknownst to me even though I have alerts set up on all my accounts. I was never alerted. Never contacted me to verify the charge or reject the charge/turn my card off. I dont use my card for purchases over a few hundred dollars and never used this merchant. This looks like an inside job and for someone living paycheck to paycheck it makes no sense. I have had other banks turn my card off for suspicious activity for ******. I dont know how a ***** charge isnt suspicious especially when there isnt a history of this merchant in my transactions and charges not exceeding a few hundred dollars. Now I have to wait 90 days for a resolution from the bank as I was informed tonight due to not meeting criteria that PNC could not elaborate on. What criteria?

      PNC has TERRIBLE account security. I have reported fraud on my credit card 4 times over the past 3 months and they keep cancelling my account and reissuing me a NEW card with NEW account number then in a few days NEW fraudulent charges show up on my NEW ccount from the same fraudulent person in an different state **** miles away from my residence. AVOID this lousy excuse for a banking instirution.One s**** up is to be expected but this is incomprehensible.I am filing a lawsuit. NEGATIVE 5 star rating (Only picked 1 star because you had to to leave a rating)Local Branch....NO HELP, they just call someone who has no answers!Customer Service..... NO HELP, barely speak and understand English language!WORST experience with any banking institution in my 50+ years of banking.

      I talk to ***** about a dispute, and he refuse to switch the call over to his supervisor, H e claimed it was taken care of , which it wasn't, It's still not corrected. He was very hesitate the way the he refuse to switch the call and said the dispute was taken care of.. **** needs to be looked at very closely. I feel that they are directing me in the wrong way with the wrong info..

      Small businesses BEWARE. I have a label of 289 email messages relating to one loan, with various agents requesting the same information over and over. I had to resubmit all new loan documents because the bank could not locate my originals. The time it has taken me to work with this bank has put undue stress and work on our small team. I would recommend finding another bank with better services for small businesses.

      Not a good first impression!!! Deposited a payroll check drawn from a PNC account on 3/15. For some reason its not available until 3/23 according to customer service. They want me to call some other department named "Deposit Loss Avoidance team" which does not make sense to me. They won't tell me WHY this check isn't being funded. It's a payroll check from a company that funds 500+ employees per month through direct deposit. I changed banks hoping PNC would better serve my needs, but apparently I was wrong. My previous bank made me wait 30 minutes+ on hold to talk to someone, while PNC answers fairly quickly. However, they cannot give me an answer why this check will not clear. I am currently looking for a new bank. Customer service is apparently non-existent these days.

      The absolute worst bank with NO customer service or support from the top corporate position down. The only people that care are the people working in the branches. When you send a letter to the top corporate person, he sends it on down the ranks, and it seems he and they do not care if they lose a thirty-year client because of several things his corporate caused the problem for. I will be moving three business accounts, two family personal accounts and several business and personal credit cards from PNC in the near future as soon as my new credit cards arrive. If the top corporate officer doesn't care, it is no wonder his employees in corporate under him don't. Dealing with PNC corporate I have dealt with some of the most inconsiderate lazy uncaring employees ever. PNC corporate from the top down has made it easy to leave PNC. I see now why their star rating is so bad you would think someone on the board would notice and do something about trying to at least get it average. At one and a half stars that is only a 30% approval.

      Awful customer service. Bought a car and used them for loan. Paid it off and tried to get them email me title. Said they couldnt *** could not r fax. Had to send by mail.

      This is the worst PNC Bank I dealt with. I will not recommend nobody to PNC.PNC will send your account to the credit bureau if under ***** dollars and saying its 30 days late which is not ***************** don't care tell u to call credit bureau yourself to resolve this matter. PNC NEED TO FIX THEIR MISTAKE..

      Never, ever, apply for Credit card with PNC. I have been a PNC customer for years. I bank with them as well as have several credit cards that I got through them recommended by their staff. I had credit cards with very high limits and were encouraged to utilize them. My overall credit score was in the mid 700s when I did a balance transfer from PNC credit card to my credit union, who were offering lower interest rates. Without me ever being late to any payment whatsoever and my credit score being good, PNC decided to cut the limit on one of my cards by more than 80%, reducing my credit overall credit score everywhere. I spoke to someone at the branch and was told to utilize the other cards so they wouldn't be inactive, and again, without me ever being late, or warning, they went ahead and reduced my credit limit on my other cards by over 90%, reducing my overall credit score yet again by a toral score of about 200 points. The only explanation I was given was that their decision was based on reports from the credit reporting agencies. If I am never late on any payment and my credit was good all along, and I was only using less than 5% of my limit with PNC's card, and all my other creditors were great with my accounts, why then drop my limit and have my score plumet without me ever being late. No one can tell me that. They are playing with people's lives. With so many great backs looking to earn my business, I am done with PNC.
