2 years ago I opened a secured card with PNC to build my credit (1000 limit). I did very well and went up to 730 credit score. *2 months ago I used my secured card littlebit more (around $300) but of course paid it off in few days.... but my credit score dropped 40 numbers. *Last week my credit score dropped another 45 numbers because my card was frozen by PNC bank but the branch manager couldn't figure out why. So we called their customer service and they asked for application number for new credit card. We answered I never applied for new card. So they said "maybe" there was some discrepancy and they have to review the info they have on file. They emailed us a form and me and the branch manager filled up the same info we already filled up 2 years ago. She scanned it and sent to them. 6 days later my card is still frozen. I took day off so I can be with them on phone. First number 1...8481446 I got from their letter they sent me to call them about this issue: the lady didn't see any reason why my card is frozen she said this number is for applications but she tried for 20 minutes to figure out. Well I called the 1...5588472 on the back of my card and the lady also didnt know what is going on. I told her my concern is my credit score. She said she will give me so info how I can file dispute. She put her supervisor (I guess) on phone and i told her they have to bring my score back up. She said they don't have to do anything that they only report to the Bureau that my card is closed. I asked her so what is the reason my card is closed she said she doesnt know yet they working on it. I told her u can not close my account without giving me a reason. She said yes we can . She sound strick and cold. I took day off for this to get it fixed and she talks to me like that while they can't even figure out why they did what they did. They messed my score up. Holding my money and don't know why but she talks down to me like I took their money like I can'be trusted. Wrong!PNC Financial Services Group, Inc.

Me, and my husband have a automobile loan threw Pnc Bank I spent several hours trying to make my truck payment using there so called automated system on the phone today, when I have others I need to be doing. Finally I got a hold of a customer service lady she could not help me. The lady I talked to did not ask for my loan number or my social security number I have been paying on my truck for 4 years now and I have never seen anything like this pnc bank makes it impossible to make your loan payments over the phone or online. Mine and my husband name is on this loan she should have been able to pull up are loan account by giving her the last 4 digits if my social security number and by giving her are loan account number but she was in a hurry to get me off the phone to go back doing whatever she was doing when I called and that was probably nothing. So, anyways since it is easier for me to mail the truck payment off that's what I am going to do.PNC Financial Services Group, Inc.

1 starCalled PNC Bank at ************************************************************************************* to find out if they had walk up teller services since the branch close to me stopped taking cash deposits and stop having people tellers to take checks. The call was answered after three rings and then I was placed on hold. 25 minutes later I arrived at the bank still on hold. Walked into the bank and found that 4 employees were not working but two were working. One helping a customer in the business banking area and the walk up teller was busy. The other four employees were looking at the phone on hold- you could actually see it on their phone my call sitting there on hold. No other lines were lite up. Two were chatting with each other and two others were doing nothing at their desk. I was hoping someone would have picked up the phone while I was in the bank. I finished my deposit and went to my car. After I started my car the call was dropped or disconnected- hung up on! Unbelievable bad customer service.Review fromKamari L

1 starPNC is a terrible bank to do business and personal banking with. they allowed multiple fraudulent charges to post to my account and once i disputed them they gave me a provisional credit for all charges. after not following up with me during investigation they sent me a letter with no documentation or evidence for their conclusion and reversed one of the credits putting me in overdraft. then when trying to resolve the issue i was hung up on multiple times and accused with allegedly owing them a debt after they already marked all the charges as fraudulent. PNC is greedy and does not care about the financial well being of their customers and account holders. do not bank with them!Review fromCharlie J

I gave them one star because I cant give them minus 10. We were customers of **** (personal, business, loans, credit cards, etc.) and we ended up taking our accounts to another bank because since PNC took over its been chaos. Their customer service is deplorable and after months of going back and forth they simply gave up on our complaint and now we end up with outrageous unjustified charges. Worst banking experience ever.Dont expect the BBB to help resolve your complaints. PNC isnt even accredited by the BBB so its a waste of your time. BBB reserves the right to modify the reviews and they will publish a review in my name that has nothing to do with our complaint, ignoring our arguments and siding up with PNC.PNC Financial Services Group, Inc.

I received a phishing email from my university for a part time job. I replied and accepted the job. They offer to pay me 500$ a week. Since I am a college student whose struggling to make it. i was happy to be making extra $s a week The email was from you@wilmu. edu email. They wanted me to buy some health aid kits. They sent me a fraudulent check and I deposited to PNC. In the email there were instructions that of course I followed. I did not think it would be fraud and i did not see any red flags. In the instruction I was told to send 2,000 dollar through zelle. I saw 4,000 available on my account for a few days. I could believe I had that amount of money and half of it wasn't mine. So, I sent the money that I thought wasn't mine. When in reality the check was fake and the bank took back the money. I sent my own 2,000 from own money. After I sent the 2,000, the bank took the money back. I was a student barely making it. I want the little money i have for my school debt. It is not fair that, the check became available. WHAT amazes me is that i normally get notified about anything on PNC. This time I was not advised that the bank had deposited a fraudulent check. I trusted PNC enough to tell when a check was real or fake. How sad is it to see a fake check get deposited and the funds available. After the bank notices (a few days later) found out they took the money back. The bank should be responsible for this mistake because there late to found a fraudulent check and shouldn't never make available immediately, I would've never send that money through zelle I am victim of a fraud and this institution.PNC Financial Services Group, Inc.

PNC is a greedy Bank. How about the bank charge me twice for an existing loan because of a error on their online banking. Causing me overdraft fees. With other bills that was do in a time frame. Didn't call or email me didn't ask for a bank did not ask for my bank statement. Which I have proof of. Don't check on their customers to try and solve the situation that's bad business. That's make them look bad. I want what is do to me my bill's and charge fees. No stars. Until they do right by their customers. Sign by **********************PNC Financial Services Group, Inc.
