      If you're looking for a reliable bank to open an account, handle your money, and manage daily transactions, steer clear of PNC. I’ve had a terrible experience with their Branch Support Department—they refused to let me withdraw my own money that was already in my account! They made me jump through hoops and forced me to come back three times in a row just to access my funds. Save yourself the frustration and go elsewhere. PNC doesn’t deserve your trust, and certainly not the interest they earn while holding your money.

      I discovered on my statement that PNC cached bogus check to my account. These were bogus checks made out to *********** and **********These 20 check's were done without my knowledge or approval. The bank (PNC) cashed the checks without any approval or signature from me. The total amount of the checks total over $600.00 I contacted PNC disputing the checks and they sent me 10 Affidavits which I filled out and returned to the bank. (Fraud Investigation Support). They sent me a letter denying my claim and said to call if I have questions. I have called 6 times leaving a message and they will not call me back. ****

      The fact that I can’t access the ATM after hours on *** ******** ** **** ** ******* ** ***** is an eye opener that I need to take my money out and close this account . Not being able to access my money just because the card reader on the door has been broke for months is crazy . This is not the first complaint either . If they don’t care enough to do something about the door surly my money isn’t safe and shall other problems arise there is going to be a problem trying to resolve them . Not to mention , when I called customer service to file a complaint I was asked “ what would you like me to do about it ? “ . I’m appalled but that’s ok “when business isn’t right , just find somewhere else to do business “. Update: As of 9/12/24 @ 9:05am I’ve been told that the doors are locked and card reader doesn’t work after hours because and I quote “they don’t want the homeless sleeping and leaving there needles in there” . Definitely do not bank with them because Boston has an influx of homeless and heroine addicts . The fact that you can’t access your money because of it is a piss Poor way to do business. PNC do better, there has got to be a solution to better serve your customers. We only have two locations in the city of Boston and if this is an issue at this location I’m sure it’s happening at the other because homeless is a Boston issue .

      Counterfeit Bills from PNC Bank To whom it may concern,I recently conducted a transaction at your [*********************************] branch on [09/03/2024] and received counterfeit bills. When I returned to address the issue, the staff's response was unprofessional and dismissive. They refused to take responsibility and showed little concern for the seriousness of the matter.This experience has shaken my trust in PNC Bank. I expect a prompt investigation and appropriate resolution.

      Without my authorization, PNC Bank conducted a hard inquiry on my credit report. This inquiry is now showing as a negative impact on my credit report, which is unjustified as I have no outstanding debt or obligation with them. Their actions have falsely made it appear as though I owe them money, which is not the case.I did not consent to this hard inquiry, nor did I authorize PNC Bank to access my credit report. The negative **** on my credit report is adversely affecting my credit score and financial well-being.

      I have been baking with this bank for several year, and I am beyond upset that they took upon themselves to take my hard earn money out my account. My son account is his account and I never had this issue where they take the money out my account because he was in the negative. The money in my account was the money for my other son insurance who just lost his father. And for this bank to take all my other child money is very distasteful. I really hate this and what to talk to the CEO of the company at this time. My son is account is his account and i should not be penalized.

      I had my online access closed down with my money i deposited at the bank since December 2023, no information about anything and all emails I have been receiving were all $0.00 instead of my deposited money. I called them today like I always called to ask for information, they told me everything was going smoothly, and normal, and no information was given about the money I deposited. I called again today and then you are telling me my account is closed! You guys are clowns, jokers and thieves and I would like my money back since you guys are disloyal to even yourself talk less of your customers! Since December 2023 and today is August 2024. Big thieves and liars

      If it were possible to give a negative or zero PNC earns the lowest rating possible. PNC Investment will not transfer your account to another institution quickly. It takes 4 weeks for them to look at your request. It took me 7 months. They don't subscribe to electronic account transfers. No physical offices. Won't return phone calls. Even with assistance there is always a problem with the paperwork and they won't tell you what is the problem. Fill out another round of paperwork, mail it (faxes or email not allowed, must have original signature.

      NEVER AGAIN! Horrible experience trying to sell my house; you would think they'd want their mortgage paid off.Throughout the process of trying to get the necessary paperwork so I could sell my house, I contacted PNC numerous times BEGINNING in April after I hired a realtor. The house had a buyer immediately, but continuous issues with the bank prolonged the closing. I have made numerous complaints along the way,*I had a single point of contact (with whom I was never able to actually communicate) that led to errors in the process in May *my new single point of contact (who actually did communicate with me), informed me that nothing could be done throughout the entire month of June *throughout July I tried NUMEROUS times and talked to NUMEROUS PNC employees trying to get an updated payoff letter *initially I was told that it could not be emailed and would have to be mailed (I believe there were 2 different phone calls made by me requesting the payoff letter that was supposed to be mailed but was never received)*after getting a fax number for my realtor and title company, I called again and was told it would be faxed within 15 minutes (when I requested getting it faxed and mailed, I was told that it would require requesting 2 different letters and, basically, was impossible)*after a few hours I called again and was told that it would take a few days to get faxed over *after not receiving the letter, I called again was assured that it would be faxed (at that point I, once again, escalated my complaint with PNC, but still no payoff letter came)I had to contact my lawyer's office in order to get the payoff letter. And even after closing on the house, I received communication that I owed money for some charges that were never explained. The house was no longer mine, yet I was still having issues with PNC and those working on their behalf.Thank goodness for my realtor, otherwise, who knows what would have happened.
