Had an appointment at 1500 hrs. Made me wait 2 1/2 hrs to tell me they could not help me, and sent me on my way with no help. Store number 015563. Store manager Jeff K*****. Stor manager knew the problem with vehicle and said nothing about them not being able to help me until 2 1/2 hrs later.

I have been getting the run around and lied to from Daniel P**** for 6 months now about damage that was done to my vehicle during a alignment which still wasn't right after them doing the alignment 3 times!!!! They even admitted that they caused the damage on 2 separate documents. Stay as far away from Firestone as you can! They will screw you over and not care!!!

I brought my pickup truck to the Firestone store in Leander, TX on 7/5/2024 for two issues: 1. AC is not cooling enough 2. I have to turn the key twice to start the car. I don't know anything about cars and when they called I agreed to pay $3308 and asked them to make sure the two issues are resolved. I picked up my truck at 7:15 pm on 7/6/2024 and paid $3402.44, different from what I remembered from the call. I only drove my car for about 20 min for a tree job on the morning of 7/7/2024 and the car stopped at a traffic light and wouldn't start any more. I was very scared by the traffic and I never handled a car on the road. I called the Firestone store to report this incident. They asked me to get the car to the store so that they could check it. It took me a while to find a towing company and tow the car to the store. I brought up my request to 1. fix the car at no cost to me 2. reimburse me the towing cost 3. provide me a compensation of $500 for the tree job that I cannot do due to the truck issue. The service manager Cody didn't want to hear my voice at all. He deleted the comments for my requests in front of me. He also said "I don't know your hourly rate. You may work for a ********** for $18 per hour." All I wanted to do is to have him record my requests, but he insisted not to do so. I don't understand why it's so hard to simply write down my requests. I am NOT respected and my voice is NOT heard. I also suspect that he will play some tricks to prove it's not their fault. I cannot trust him as he kept ignoring my request and modified the record in the system in front of me. So I called FireStone customer service 4 times on 7/7/2024 and 7/8/2024 to complain about my experience and provide updates. The customer service representative said the area manager will give me a call in 2 business days, but that never happened.

I called to setup an appointment and spoke. Ryan and told him I needed to setup an appointment for my car which was overheating and hearing clicking in the radiator which needed to be checked also my mom spoke with Ryan and told him the same thing because she wanted to know the total .I took my 2013 dodge charger to this shop on 4/11/24 was told I need a battery and stater cooling system test , hoses . I spoke with Sean and I paid $1,465.27 I drove my car not even an hour an it started to over heat . I called spoke with Sean and told him the issue he told me to bring back in . I was able to get it back in 4/15 my off day . When I told him about the issue he said Ryan didn’t tell him anything about the radiator and seemed very frustrated and said gees this is the third thing he has messed up . Now I’m being told I need additional work paid 207.72 for a sway suspension bar and they couldn’t find anything on why my car was still overheating. On 4/16/24 had to have car towed in it overheated and stopped additional $638.53 paid thermostat, replaced fan motor each time I’m being told it’s something else so clearly it’s being misdiagnosed my car stopped and had to be towed again I took to a different stop just to be told that I needed a starter paid $692 I’m being told the starter that was in the car was not good it was fried . I’m not happy at all my car still not running it’s now leaking oil . I need answers clearly someone did lnlw what they are doing . When my car was towed back to me I was told Firestone is known for doing this . Stay away from this place

Summary: The series of unfortunate events began towards the end of last year when my car's engine light came on, leading to an initial diagnosis that identified spark plug issues. Subsequently, I spent over $1k on repairs, only to have the engine light reappear the next day, necessitating further diagnostic work. The situation escalated when my car completely stopped working, causing significant inconvenience.
On March 25, 2024, I had my car towed to your shop for another repair estimate to address the persistent engine light issue. After nearly a month of waiting, I was informed that a new engine was required, prompting approval for the repair. However, I later discovered that the responsible manager had quit, leaving the vehicle untouched outside the shop for over two months, resulting in rust, paint damage, and neglect. Upon retrieving my car on June 1st, 2024, I was advised that the catalytic converter needed replacement, incurring additional costs. Despite addressing this issue, the problems persisted, with multiple visits for repairs on July 9th and July 20th yielding unsatisfactory results with the engine. Communication with the management proved unhelpful, with delays and a lack of urgency in resolving the ongoing issues. After picking up the car on August 7th, I immediately noticed persistent problems and contact the shop and spoke with receptionist the 7th and On the 9th spoke to Sanam he said bring the 16th mechanic is on vacation. However, called on August 11th about engine light on, Sanam, the manager, indicated that he could not offer further assistance and redirected me to Tony, the former manager, for help. This response left me floored, frustrated and dissatisfied. As a paying customer, I expected professionalism and commitment to resolving the issues with my vehicle. The dismissiveness and reluctance to address ongoing problems reflect poorly on the service provided. It is disheartening to note that my car remains unfixed.

I went today to rectify the issues with my tires which were the wrong size that were sold to me by this Firestone and that I paid $1400 for. I went today to tell them this issue and then Jeff proceeded to tell me that they do not make tires for run flat in the size I needed. So I asked why would they sell me a tire knowing it was a wrong size? I told them Mercedes told me these were wrong sized tires and Jeff S******** told me that I was wrong and that he knew what he was doing. I even showed paperwork but he didn't want to deal or resolve this issue in any way. He only offered me $200 off for tires that were the wrong size. I told them they needed to fix this that it's wrong for them to do this. This is when Jeff S******** became irate and threatened to call someone to have me removed and told me to leave the store. They took my money and sold me wrong sized tires and this is causing issues to my car. They don't even know how to align vehicles. PLEASE DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLES TO ANY FIRESTONE!!! These people are rude and unprofessional!!! They are incompetent and sell you service you don't need. I have been a 10 year customer of Firestone and now no way will I ever give them my business now.

I came to this location for an A/C recharge which they did, but also an inspection and they tried to fail my vehicle's safety inspection for an ABS light that was on. They quoted me almost $2,000 for repairs but I called another shop and they said there's no way my vehicle should have failed safety for that ABS light. I believe Firestone was trying to get me to pay for unnecessary repairs which is not right.

They scam you. Break stuff so you have to purchase new items. Had to give one star because it would not let do zero.

To whom it may concern, I am sending an email also.
My truck’s steering wheel was shaking, took it to Tires Plus in Capital Heights MD 20743. Store #351772. Please see the attached video recorded on July 31st. Along with the paid invoices.
July 17, 2024 - Vehicle drop-off concerns were relayed to Kwame the Store Manager. (Wheel shaking, an alignment) Kwame called and suggested other work, and I agreed to it. Paid $635.11
(Between July 17 and July 27, my tire pressure light lit up on my dashboard, and I took it back to Tires Plus, Kwame added air to my rear right tire in case it was a slow leak. The rear right tire had 40 psi when I left. The shaking came back, called Kwame he made time for me on Saturday.
July 27, 2024 Vehicle drop-off another analysis and suggestions to fix the shaking, I agreed.
      July 29, 2024 Vehicle Pick-up Paid $1635.03
July 31, 2024 called back and told Carlos the Service Manager that I was back to the original issue. He told me Kwame would be back in the office on Thursday and Friday and would reach out to me.
Aug 1, 2024 No phone call or voicemail
Aug 2, 2024 No phone call or voicemail
As a customer who has paid a total of $2270.14, I feel swindled, cheated, and inconvenienced by my time and money. I’m wondering if anything was fixed or replaced. It was scary driving on the highway with the vehicle shaking between 30 and 40 mph with loud noise.
I am requesting a refund so I can get this work completed permanently at another mechanic shop.

***UPDATE Tires Plus Capital Heights MD total spent $2270.14 Visit 1-` July 17… $635.11 oil change, cabin and engine filter, clean lube adjust brakes - tie rod ends one side (left inner) Visit 2- $1635.03… July 29 new tires, REAR BRAKE JOB (DRUM),RIGHT REAR HUB BEARING Visit 3 - No charge Aug 12 seized caliper and on replaced, no issues. I told Kwame and Usman if there were any other issues, I would just park the truck, it’s been expensive. Kwame offered a test drive with myself and the mechanic, in my opinion that should have happened on the second visit. I explained I didn't feel comfortable with that, and the money already spent. Old OX Auto N.E. Washington DC $3145.63 Aug 9 and Aug 12 - Complete Front and Rear Strut Assembly, Alignment ……….OLD OX found a seized caliper on the front left drivers side. OLD OX offered to check it out, but there would be a charge, and they would try to work out the price considering the amount already spent on the truck. Usman from Tires Plus in Burtonsville MD reached out, and in the end worked it out where Kwame at Tires Plus in Capital Heights agreed to the replacement of the caliper, and they also replaced the hose. July 17 – Aug 12 off and on without a vehicle, used my girlfriend’s vehicle but she needed it back. Had the vehicle towed to another shop. Paid for an ****. All that lost time, a customer doesn’t get back. Having a 2017 **** Compass doesn’t negate Troubleshooting 101, when steps are skipped you get what happened here. So far, no issues, work that was due to be done could have been pieced out. As a customer I would go through my report and ask questions before leaving the shop. Old OX Auto does that with text messages, phone calls and goes over the report with you. Green passed, red immediately, yellow it can wait.
