I spoke to the front desk employee, Mike S***, and told him I had a nail in my back tire. In which he responded “ oh you got it in the rear” and winked at me. He then asked me about my religion and later on when I picked up my vehicle because I was not paying this place to put a new tire on because of that behavior he made comments about what I was wearing. I asked for the manager and he was not there. I called and spoke to the manager the next day and he was not interested in what occurred and did not care. Mike and this location is very unprofessional and unsafe due to the sexual harassment they give their employees. I will never go there again and will never recommend. This behavior is disgusting

So I have taken my vehicle to the Maynardville location in Knoxville, TN 3 times first in November of 2023 for an oil change as it was a new service location and I used to use Firestone in the past. While changing my oil they come and tell me that my suspension was rotting out and i needed 2,500 dollars in repairs I did not have that money so was going to wait till 2024. When it came time for next oil change I took it elsewhere because I needed it done before a trip. The station could not get the oil plug off and told me to take it back to the place where i got it done last so I did so. I spoke with a Joe G. who informed me he was the owner and we argued back and forth about how his people couldn't have done it. In the end they replaced my plug but during the oil change Joe used intimidating language saying what he would do to problem customers and the like. I let this go because I he did what I asked and at the time he just needed to blow off steam. I had a scheduled tire service upcoming the next week so I used my Firestone card to pay for it. Joe said he could activate it and he used it to pay for the tires. 2 months later I was nearly brought to collections because my card wasn't activated but somehow I am charged. Called **** bank to rectify issue and was informed that store cannot active cards. called FS CSR and filed compliant on this store and was told the area manager would get back to me. The area manager apparently is Joe G. and he left a message to call him so now the person and store I complained about knows who I am. How does that make any sense?

I was told by their csr department I would be contacted by "upoer management" I got a call from the local store manger instead. Have not heard a word from any "upper management".'
50% mark up on "retail price" for parts and $220 per hour for labor
Numbers based on *****  OEM replacement parts, total for parts $1085 $1095 for 5 hours labor. total $2294.
Please find parts comparison and labor charges below. Since you do not warehouse parts at your location you are charging EXHORBITANT prices for parts being delivered from a local source.
Additionally I was told this store does not offer conventional motor oil because it is scarce and hard to find which is not true, as it is readily available from several local sources.
I am very confident that your technicians do not make 219.18 bucks an hour and probably no more than 25% of that amount. As I do not know how much they make I can not calculate a mark up % but suffice it to say I am confident your labor mark up is >100%.
My rating stands and will advise my family and friends accordingly. Do not take your vehicle here.

I went for a basic oil change, before going I've not had any issues with oil leaking. After they changed oil it started dripping from Drain Plug. They had a inspector who looked at it and stated, oil Pan seemed to have been cross threaded. But went on to say, cross thread caused Prior, they were no oil leaking from drain plug.If there would've been a tech would've pointed it out before changing oil. Also tech would've brought it to my attention. In there paper work states, car came in for oil change and now has a oil leak. They said I was to have it fixed, that's no fair to me or anyone else

I called for an estimate for ABS pump, Brake hoses, calipers, brake pads and rotors. Just to know what exactly I was looking at before I had my vehicle towed into the Firestone located at 2425 Iowa st. Lawrence, KS 66046. I had a conversation regarding ABS pump not being the problem unless there was a lot of liquid on the ground when the incident happened but the guy didn't think that this would be my problem at all because the brakes wouldn't have "just" gone out. Is what I was told. After talking about the brake hoses and calipers, it was recommended that they do a brake inspection which was going to be free but I explained that my insurance was paying for the tow so I needed to know if I could afford the worse case and I asked what I could be looking at paying and I was given an estimate of $300-$800 dollars, I clarified that would be for all of the brakes and the labor. I was told yes. I had my vehicle towed in and about an hour later I received a call with the estimate of over $3,000 for the work I asked for before which was $300-$800. I asked to speak with the guy that I had spoken with earlier and he just basically said that he never talked to me about half of what he actually did and said that he never said the quote that I was given was for anything but brake pads and rotors for the front. Plus he never spoke to me about the ABS pump. So if you are a single woman, do not trust this place with anything because they will do anything to get you in there but will find ways to charge you extremely more than you were quoted.

I made an online appointment for an A/C refresh at 10553 San Jose Blvd, Jacksonville, FL. That appointment was accepted and confirmed. I know this is not completely done by a computer because I have received calls in the past to let me know that the day or time does not work and I need to reschedule. I arrive at my appointment 10 minutes early, and the person at the front desk informs me that I cannot get that done because they have no technicians there on Sundays. He is incredulous that I would make an appointment, let him confirm it, and then arrive on time. I asked if we could reschedule for Monday around 5:45PM since they are open until 7:00PM. He let me know that they close at 6:00PM and all mechanics go home at 5:00PM. He was rude and condescending, and the company wasted our time.
We visited the Firestone at 4628 Tropea Way, Jacksonville, FL, about 2 months ago. We finally had them do a synthetic oil change since we grew tired of the staff saying that it was illegal to get a standard one. Even with an appointment, this took about 5 hours. We got the car back, and about a week later, we learned that the car had no oil in it. When I called, they told me they would inspect the car to see if that was true, but they advised that the car was probably just broken. Broken? While I would love to bring my car back to allow them to break it and prove that the tank is faulty, we opted for a quick change place, and have been running fine. This location has a history of running behind, sitting next to the car eating lunch for an hour while we have been there for 4 hours already, and doing work without providing cost or heads up. The staff is rude and aloof; they seem just as unhappy to be there as I am to have my time wasted. Lesson learned though, we will be going anywhere but Firestone going forward.

What a horrible experience, took my truck there to get an inspection done and when I got home (I made no stops) there was a dent and big scratch on my drivers side panel above the rear tire. When I went back to question how this happend I was told that there was no possible way they could have damaged my truck because their lift is yellow and goes under the truck so I'm left to assume they must use rubber or soft foam tools which honestly is impressive because no one has ever slipped with a tool dropped something they didn't mean to, or have an accident. I commend you firestone on your 100% accident free record, I'm surprised that your rating here is below a two considering how perfect you are. Also while waiting for the manager I got the pleasure of overhearing the service advisor Paul having the most pleasant transposition conversation with a customer, if that's Paul's position there's not much I can do about that but to allow that kind of conduct inside a place of business is horrible. Then again maybe firestone doesn't like transgender people, at least that'll be my opinion from now on

On Monday, April 1, 2024, I took my 2020 ******* Palisade to Firestone Firestone located at 501 North Monroe Street in Tallahassee, Florida because I had trouble starting my vehicle over the weekend. Firestone said the battery would be about $250+ and that the tune up would be about $750+, bring the total due charged to my new firestone credit card to $1,079. After repairs, on the 3rd day, all the warning lights on my dashboard came on indicating there was a problem with the battery, alternator and power steering then suddenly all of the lights in the vehicle went off and the power turned off while I was driving over 75mph on Interstate-10. Later that afternoon, Letitia at Firestone called me to tell me the problem was the alternator and that I would need a new one for about $750. The price for the alternator replacement and battery replacement with discounts was $1,190. In a matter of 4 days I have spent $2,269.00 (1,400 on credit card and $869 in cash). Upon repair, as I pulled out of the parking lot I noticed my vehicle would not accelerate over 20 MPH. The technician gave my vehicle to a mechanic who hooked it up to his diagnostic computer and told me that their computer was not picking up any codes on the vehicle and that they could not tell why the vehicle was failing.

Today may 8th 2024 I scheduled an appointment for 9am. The service needed was oil change tire fix on new tires I purchased from them this year. When I took the vehicle in my mileage was 27,631 with a full tank of gas which was purchased yesterday May 7th. I noticed when I arrived to pick up my vehicle at 310pm gas was iff a notch the sunroof was open my windows were down and my mileage went to 27,634. So went inside and talked to a young lady who told me she must of entered the mileage wrong when Indeed they were correct at 27,631. She also had just hand written the mileage. So she also stated nobody drove the vehicle and if they did was around the back when there was plenty of parking in front. Soon as I left the parking lot the mileage jumped to 27,635. This is my second altercation with this company. The first was when my car was getting service they didn't put any cover protection on the seats or steering wheel. They got in with no gloves and left oily hand prints all throughout the car. They apologized and said they would pay for the cleaning but in all reality it cost so much to get a detail I can't afford it but feel like they should have done it
