1 starWould give zero stars if possible. I took my ***** civic that I just purchased to a local store due to AC not working & this is 1 of the businesses my warranty company deals with. They fixed 1 small issue but did NOT fix the air, even tho they told me they did. The tech refused to come out & speak to me as to why the air still wasn't working. The next day, I took the car to a different location. They kept my car for 2 days to determine the issue. Manager there told me they'd contact the warranty company & call me. Then they wouldn't answer the phone for a week. Called my warranty ppl & they told me the 2nd location NEVER EVEN contacted them. I will be contacting their corporate office but WILL NOT BE RETURNING. I will tell anyone who will listen to avoid this business at all costs.Review fromDawn H

1 starNever take your vehicle to Firestone . I took my vehicle to Firestone 5620 Baltimore National Pike, Catonsville , MD on 4/16/24 AM. I needed a tire because I had a flat tire . Firestone replaced the tire and said they did a courtesy check as well. I went to my Aunt's funeral in Baltimore later that morning and drove to Laurel for the cemetery. On the way back from laurel, MD my husband said he smelled something. After we return to the church for the repass an proceeded to drop a cousin home , my vehicle began shutting off . We stopped . My husband open the hood and saw that the coolant top was sitting off to the the side. Obviously Firestone forgot or intentionally left the coolant top off . We called Firestone and they denied leaving the coolant top off. They lied because we know they check the fluids because they told us and the windshield wiper fluid was filled to the brim . Firestone cost me over $2000 in damage. This error caused me and my husband to remain in MD until May 3, 2024 do to fixing my vehicle in a timely manner. I am thinking on going to smalls claims court against Firestone. FIRESTONE is a fraud!Review fromTim P

1 starOn 5/4/24 I requested an appointment on 5/4/24 at Firestone on Main St. I recd a confirmation email for 5/5/24 2PM for a tire rotation. When I arrived at 120PM there was a lady in front of me who needed some tires. I overheard the guy at the front desk say I can take care of you. Here is 50% off and your car will be ready in 2 hours. She clearly didn’t have an appointment. When it was my turn I explained I had a 2pm appointment for today. He said “**** last appointment for the day It will be $22.80. I said I have never paid for a tire rotation and Ive been using firestone for years and bought all my tires from Firestone and have the warranty. He said he cant locate me in the system and I should go to Prosper or Preston location. He said “we can do it here but we don’t have ***** techs like Prosper. We can lift your car on jacks. It wont go on the lift”. I said Ive never heard this before, it is a tire rotation. He said he couldn’t locate me in the system. I then said if you knew I had a ***** why was the appointment confirmed. He told me to hold on. He went to a back room 2 minutes later the guy said he can take my car and they will try and get it done as we don’t have any tesla techs here. Come back at 5. I said no I will go elsewhere.
I didn’t like the behavior of the front desk guy. Ive been using Firestone at Preston and Prosper on 380 for years and never had an issue till today. I only went to the main street location today since my son had a class close by but I will never go back here again. I will follow up with Prosper and get the tire rotation done. The guy today could take care of a lady without an appointment but me, he tried to run me off to Prosper and then when I said no, he said he doesn’t have a ***** tech but he will try and get the work done. This made me furious and I am disgusted by this guy today at 2665 main St Frisco TX

1 starI took my 2006 ******* Altima in on may 1st 2024 for and oil change after they completed the oil change. They said they had a few recommendations on being the battery in which I just bought the battery a month ago when I told the guy that he looked at me funny he was like oh just have a checked so I went to ********* where I bought it from they checked the battery. It was perfect. Another recommendation they gave me was my alignment was off, which was perfect before I bought it and now my alignment is so off. It’s hard to turn in the front of my car. I am a single woman with two young children. There should be no reason why I should have my car messed up on purpose just going to get an oil change. I am very disappointed with this type of behavior. This type of service I will never go back to Firestone on 1340 Boulevard and Fairfield, CaliforniaReview fromJeff L

1 starBeware. I would stay far away from Tires Plus. I took my car in for two new tires. I was called 15-20 minutes after I got home from dropping my car off. They said that I needed two new struts for my car on top of the new tires.
When I asked about this, they told me that they had no clue why my struts were broken and why my car was not experiencing any issues prior to arriving. I drive my car everyday without experiencing any of the issues that you see with broken struts.
I did pay for service and when I voiced my frustration I was asked why I bothered to get my car fixed. I wonder why? Either I could drive the car off the lot and experience further car issues till the issue was fixed, or I could get it taken care of. As much as I didn't want them working on my car, I made the choice for them to fix the issue.
When I was asking for clarification; I was told that my struts were broken and then I was told that they were rusted. Initially they said nothing about them being rusted. I was told that they were broken. Maybe they were rusted to the point where they were broken, that's possible, we live in Iowa. I found it odd that they went from broken to rusted to the point of broken. Why not say they were rusted at the beginning of our conversation? To me, it seemed as if they were changing their story.
If you need any service, please go somewhere else and save yourself some money and frustration.Review fromWilliam M

1 starThey snuck in road hazard insurance without telling me, never explained it, never gave an opportunity to accept or reject that line item specifically, and attributed the higher than expected price to taxes. Not until out the door did I see this $60+ upcharge and not until I searched this on ****** did I find the explanation that Firestone offers this "optional" insurance on tires. Stay away from these guys or insist on looking through every line item before paying.Review fromAnthony P

1 starThe purpose of this email is to provide feedback for the Firestone Management team in Chesterfield, MO. Since moving to the area in 2022, I have spent thousands of dollars for repairs/tires at this location. I would continue purchase services from this location due to the level of customer service.
However, recently, I simply needed an emissions test for one of my vehicles. First, I made an appointment several days in advance to have the service completed. My appointment was cancelled and my wife was informed we should not make appointments, the location no longer wanted appointments for emissions. We were to drop the car off during a weekday for several hours to receive service. Therefore, this week, I made an appointment (just to give the store notification), and took a day off work. As I was arriving, a representative called me to inform me they could not service my vehicle for another week. Let's be honest, emissions testing takes a few minutes. Additionally, the representative completely contradicted the information my wife had recently received. So now, I have no vehicle tested and I took a day off of work for no reason.
Again, the purpose of this email was to provide feedback for the leadership team. Do not contact me, I will no longer be taking my vehicles to this location. There are obviously several operational opportunities the location must address.Review fromjohn w

1 starI took my car to this shop for a wheel alignment. I was told they had to replace the Rear Control Arms. They said they had to order the parts and gave me a copy of the "Recommended Services". The total cost on that document was $556.43.
I took my car to **** to get the same services and they completed the alignment without replacing the Rear Control Arms for $129.95.
I can't help but wonder how many other people have been overcharged by $400.Review fromMiriam C

1 starI took my 2015 Nissan Murano for an oil Change November 22nd. The general manager did an inspection on my car and some how he mentioned my car needed a new head gasket and for the valves to be changed along with a tune up. Refused to have me to take my car. I paid $2099.00. Went back in February for an oil Change only, and again they found something wrong and i paid $400. My car started shaking terribly for months until it cut off on me two weeks on the expressway. I got it towed to a mechanic because I refused to take it back to Tires Plus. The mechanic had to take my engine off right fix the coils to find out thar Tires Plus NEVER EVER did what I paid $2099.00 for. Due to their negligence my car isn't drivable at all and it wasn't like this until I took it to Tires Plus in November and February.Review fromEdwin G

1 starUsed their service for a tire issue repair-replacement this morning. Their website showed the tire I wanted in stock for $80. However, I was told at the store it was NOT in stock and was steered toward buying a more expensive one. What could have been a total $108 bill (including all the junk fees) became $157 for one tire. She knew that I had an urgent need and I was not going to say no to getting the service done. I registered a complaint with the client service department at Bridgestone and about an hour later received a message from the store manager (Name Rose) Stating that "I accepted to the price for the other tire and authorized the work". And that they could have ordered the cheaper tire from another local store (except that she did NOT offer that option to me in person as I was given the news that "the lower price tire was no longer in stock" Yet their website showed that they had 5 in stock after I arrived back home). I find this very unprofessional, unethical, and unfair. No apology was offered as she left the voice mail. I want to caution others to not use this shop. Otherwise, you may find yourself with a rude awakening. It is a shame that hard working people like me are taken advantage of. Shameful.
