VERY UNPROFESSIONAL! Gave us a wait time and then continued to service other walk-ins (who happened to not be black customers) before us. We will be going through proper procedures to report the incident. He waited for over 2 hours to leave with our oil still not changed. When I called to complain, I was simply told that everybody is human, I explained that they gave him an incorrect wait time and took other walk-ins before him but they seemed to not care and gave me responses that made me feel like I was blown off. WE WILL NOT BE BACK.
There is no wonder they are not accredited through the BBB. Went to report them and sew that they already had an F. I will still be filing my review

Misdiagnosis of problems with the brakes. telling me it wasn’t a caliper and end up it was a caliper after I had got a new brake line which cost $200 and the caliper end up costing me $400. This was a expensive diagnosis.. I informed him I thought it was a problem with the caliper at first appointment. Bad mechanics, losing parts to your car.

I took my 2014 ****** Forester to the Firestone Shop back on February 16, 2024 for a Tune Up prior to my wife and I returning to NC. Firestone was the only place in the whole area that had an appointment available to do it at that time. The service technician (Dan, according to documentation) also convinced me to get a fuel system cleaning (PFI 3-STEP). I was advised that it would take a couple of hours for all the work to be done. Please note that I had a check engine code scan read prior to going to Firestone, as well as when Firestone took my car in prior to them working on it. Each pointed to a Cylinder 3 Misfire, as well as a few wheel sensor codes. There were NO INDICATIONS OF ANY OTHER ISSUES.
After some time, I was taken back into the shop to look underneath my car to view that I had a pin hole leak of grease from the front driver side CV Axle Boot and that I also needed 4 new tires soon. And that “other than that, the car looks great and we’ll be done soon”. Soon after, I was brought back again to advise me that “we were able to put it out, but the car caught fire”!!!!!
This occurred when my car was left unattended while the fuel system cleaning was running. They then tried to inform me that my catalytic converter was now bad and that I had “wires hanging down from the car”! I’m not sure why they didn’t do or say anything about it prior to working on my car, but my only explanation would be incompetence.
I went in for a tune up! Not for them to set my car on fire!!!! So, after two weeks of having to rent a car from the ********** ****** *** across the street from their location for 2 weeks @ $450/week, Firestone still did not have my car 100% ready to go! I still had a check engine light, hill start assist light and other flashing lights. I 100% REFUSED TO SIGN OR PAY ANYTHING BECAUSE OF ALL THE DISRUPTION THEY CAUSED!!!
Now, I need a new engine!
      $5,233.48: New Engine & Repair
DO NOT GO HERE, EVER! Not even for air in your tires!

I have had an ongoing overheating issue for the past 6 months and have taken my car to 2 separate Firestone locations (1502 Washington Ave Houston Tx and 5620 W little york Houston Tx) and paid almost $3,000 dollars just for my issues to not be resolved and had to tow my car multiple times because of these issues and every time I received my car back from them a new issue would pop up. THIS IS A DISHONEST BUSINESS AND THEY WILL TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU AND ROB YOU BLIND!!! The last time I brought my car to them because it was STILL overheating I told them I noticed oil stains in my driveway and asked them to look into the issue and they only replaced my coolant cap and sent me on my way. They never once looked into the oil leak I mentioned to them and the leaking issue still persists. This is absolutely ridiculous and at this point I dont even want Firestone to touch my vehicle.

I took my car into Firestone on 3/8/24 to get my car fixed. I explained to them that there's a knock over bumps, most likely suspension issues (shocks/ struts) They called back to tell me the knocking is a steering wheel coupler and swindled me into various other replacements. Although I did request an oil change. I assumed that they fixed the issue I brought it in for, but the front end still knocks over bumps and the steering wheel still clicks while turning. So I spent over $500 and still have issues with both suspension and steering wheel knock. When I took it back Saturday 4/22/2 , the manager said they'd look at it, but come up with every reason why they couldn't at least correct the job I paid for. They told me to take it to ***. Poor sales customer service and not qualified at all. Now I don't have the money to get my suspension done cause they totally ignored my original request to check out suspension. They also said I needed a battery, but called ******* and they said it's still under warranty. This place is a scam.

Let me 1st say, I've been a customer since 2020. I spoke with your representative on the 3rd of April 2024,making sure I have the correct information to pay off my account. Soon as I completed the call I rushed to the ****. It was less than 2 miles away. All this was done before 12:00 pm. Keep in mind, this was a cashier's check from my credit union. My payment wasn't due until the 10th of April. My balance was $103, minimum payment a month was $29, I always paid $50. When I did a follow up call,I received a recording, I owe $29, due on May 10th. When I inquired about it, I was told it was a late fee.
No problem, let's get ready to closes this account.
This is a Firestone scam, you can look a the date stamp on the envelope and see I sent payment in good faith from a reputable financial institution.
I'm disappointed you found more value in $29 and not a repeat customer.
Can you buy anything for $29 at Firestone? You do the math, I'll do the research and find a company, more customer friendly..............

Went to the Oak Lawn Firestone for screw in tire and was told I needed four new tires. That my tires were shot and that they couldnt repair the tire. I told them my tires were from Firestone and were three years old w a warranty. They told me my warranty was null and void. I was mansplained and duped into buying four tires that i did not authorize. I was taken advantage of because I am a woman. They never even returned my call. I showed up after work and my car had four ugly tires on it with a bill of $1000 and no one to talk to. I told the girl I felt llke I was being taken advantage of because Im a woman and she told me "Welcome to her world, everyday " **** **** *

I am a female who just bought a used car at a small local dealership in **********.It had a 30-day warranty so, doing my due diligence, I made an appointment at the 90th ************* a place I thought were reputable, to do a full inspection. Aside from finding regular maintenance items, their mechanic said the right front strut was broken and it would cost around $1,200 to replace both front struts. Because I had the 30-day warranty, I took it back to the dealer and gave him a copy of the ********* paperwork showing what they found. The dealer said they'd fix it, no problem. I left it with them for repair and went to work. Within a half hour, got a call from the dealer. Their mechanic had put it up on the rack to begin work, checked it out, then walked into the dealership office and asked the dealer if this was a test and if he was being tested. There was no broken strut on either side and shocks were fine. So I picked it up later that day, and took it to *** **** the next day to have them do a full inspection, telling them about the 2 conflicting stories . After a full inspection, they said they agreed with the dealer - there was no broken right strut and they took pictures to show me. A one inch minor split in the bellows was all they found and said it would not justify replacing it or the left side strut. After 3 inspections, it was evident that the scam mechanic at ********* 90th St was trying to get a $1,200 repair on a non-existent problem! Be wary of any opinion you get from the mechanics at ********* 90th St. Typical "scam a female because she won't know any differently" scenario." Guess they didn't figure I'd get a second, and third, opinion that would uncover their $1,200 **** Needless to say at this point, but I'm saying it...don't do business with ********* at 90th St.

I went to the one in Montgomeryville mall, and was told that I needed rear brakes and rotors. When I went there to have 4 tires done. Spent 1500.00 on my services to find out that I needed front brakes and rotors not rear. Please be careful with getting work done now, especially if you are a woman, and have a second or even a third opinion.

I spoke with Rick at the 7808 N Military Hwy, Norfolk, VA 23518-4011 store to get a quote on two tires, front and rear brakes and routers, two new tire sensors, and to get my brother set up with a Firestone account and lifetime alignment.
Rick was extremely rude when we initially came in and asked questions to start with a quote. He got upset when I wasn’t sure of the current tire size and was making comments under his breath when walking out to the car to check the tire size. I went with him and asked how to check the tire size for future reference and he scoffed and said, just read the side of the tire. Again, very rude and unnecessary.
He asked if I had disc or drum brakes. I wasn’t sure, it’s my brothers car and he wasn’t with me. I asked if we could look it up with the VIN or if we could go look at it to see. He said they would have to take the tires off to look or I would just have to know. He said he’s been doing this for 20 years and you can’t look it up by the VIN. I started googling how to check and he said “don’t bother. You won’t be able to do it”. Again, very rude, condescending, and also untrue. I asked if he could give a quote for both the disc brakes (since he wouldn’t bother to try and help me check), he said it would take a long time.. then only gave me a quote for disc brakes. Did not include the lifetime alignment or tire sensors in the quote. Only tires and brakes.
I left and sat in my car and googled how to check if it’s disc or drum brakes and it’s very simple and you can literally just look and now I know they are drum brakes so the quote is irrelevant to what I need.
This store is known for discriminating against non-white people, which makes sense for how I was treated and has harassed customer for filing complaints in the past.
