1 starOn 7/15 they flushed out my brakes, and replaced the front rotors. On 7/22 while driving the brakes gradually went out completely. I had to pay a different company almost $900 to fix the mess they created and Firestone isn’t even communicating with me. I have photos and evidence that the complete brake failure was their fault. The brakes going out while driving nearly caused an accident. Never trusting a Firestone again. They endangered the lives of my husband and I and those around us and corporate hasn’t taken any steps to rectify the situation.Review fromGwen T

1 starI took my car on June 24, 2023 to Firestone because of a heavy choppy roaring noise, I was told I needed front wheel bearings replaced. Firestone kept my car from June 24, through July 1. Their explanation was they order wrong parts had to reorder. When I picked the car, I was told that they put new axil on the front driver’s side and would not charge me. I wasn’t told I needed a axil. While driving from their lot on July 1, I heard the exact choppy noise, I called them back and was told they needed to do a diagnostic test. I was told on June 24, they did a diagnostic and drove the car to hear the noise. I parked my car in my driveway and on July 2, I noticed a very heavy amount of fluid underneath my car. I called them again and was told a diagnostic test had to be done. At this point I did not trust Firestone and I took my car to the ****** dealer who found the left front axil seal was broken and leaking fluid. Firestone charged me $1,600.00 for wheel bearing repair that wasn’t needed. It cost $400.00 for tires at another repair service center, which was the cause of the choppy noise. The repair at the dealership for the broken axil seal was $900.00. Firestone would not accept responsibility for the broken axil seal, and I was told to bring the car back to them and they would do a diagnostic to see what’s wrong. I cannot believe the incompetence and disregard for the financial loss they have caused.Review fromEddie V

1 starHorrible customer service! My vehicle was supposed to be done by 12:30 pm, so I called an hour after and got an attitude saying we thought you said 2:30 pm by the supposed manager; she stated, "They were behind and not sure when it would be done." I asked, "So it won't be done by 2:30?" She stated, "I didn't say that. I don't know when it will be done." I then got upset, and they asked me to pick up my car instead. I asked for the district manager's name and number, but she refused to give it, told me to look it online, and hung up. I called back audibly upset, spoke to another attendant, and he stated the same thing and hung up. I called back again, and she immediately answered and said to get my car and that she called the police. An officer came to my house. I explained the scenario and stated my wife would pick up my car instead. I can't believe good service is this hard to get these days to the point that when you try even to hold someone accountable, they just throw it back at you as if you're the problem! Maybe they don't get paid much, but when I was a teenager, I had more common sense and decency than these grown, ill-mannered adults. I will take the blame for getting upset myself, but these people have worse attitudes than telemarketers or fast food workers. I have gone to Fire Stone for decades and WILL NEVER GO BACK TO FIRESTONE AGAIN!!!Review fromAllen A

1 starOn July 31, 2023, took my ***** CR-V, 1.5L engine (very common auto with low 25k mileage) to Firestone Complete Auto Care (95 N Moorland, Brookfield, WI) for an oil change, utilizing a Firestone $29.99 standard oil change coupon, valid Jul 06 - Sep 04, 2023. They would not honor the coupon & offered me a $66 oil change.
Definitely bait & switch. They were only interested in making a quick buck. I walked away. Would change to Zero stars, if I could.Review fromKadie C

1 starI was 2.5 hours from home on my way to San Antonio when my timing belt broke and I had it serviced at the Firestone in Hutto, TX. The staff was friendly and accommodating, but 1 month later my timing belt broke again and this time it ruined my engine. I had it towed to a different shop near me who advised me that when my engine jumped time a month prior (the Firestone in Hutto never actually told me this is what had happened), it bent a valve and they never should have changed my timing belt because it wasn't if, but when, the engine would jump time again. The day after the engine jumped time again, I had it towed to the Firestone near me in Hurst, TX and contacted the Area Manager, Fabiola T******, to try and get the ball rolling on getting a claim started so the issue could be resolved as quickly as possible. I had to contact Ms. T****** multiple times before I was able to finally get ahold of her, and she has not returned voicemails or texts left since then. My car was sitting there for over a week before a claim was finally filed (I have yet to be given a reason why it took so long), and I only found out because *I* was constantly having to call my local Firestone to find out what was going on since nobody bothered to tell me. Now the Firestone is waiting on the 3rd party to come do their assessment to determine liability and I was told they should have been out this past Thursday or Friday and I requested to be contacted after they arrived and have yet to hear from them. I was facing losing my job due to not having a car and being unable to get one because the rental places near me were sold out. I was finally able to get a rental and have paid about $900 so far for it, on top of the $1600 I paid for a new timing belt just over a month ago, plus the cost of having my car towed multiple times. This who process has been absolutely ridiculous and it seems like half the people who work for Firestone are completely incompetent and don't care about customers.Review fromMichael S

1 starThe technician made the mistake of letting me see the computer over his shoulder.
Fortunately for me I was unable to answer the phone when they told me that the windshield washer pump and intake manifold needed to be replaced. They had already overcharged me for routine maintenance and a rear brake job to the tune of $1300. They said it would be an additional $2400 for the other two issues. I saw on the computer that the intake manifold original price was $500 but in the box next to it where it said how much they charged and it was $1000! They were doubling the price of the part. The same for the windshield washer pump which they wanted to charge me $325 for. I looked up and purchased the parts myself from VW and the intake manifold was $250, 1/4 of what they wanted to charge me! The windshield washer pump was $150, 1/2 of what they wanted.
THEY ARE PRICE GOUGING CRIMINALS!
I've been going to them for decades and who knows how much money I've lost by going there. They should be shut down or at the very least sued for unethical business practices.Review fromYizhou W

1 starI have an appointment at 1pm for tire change. I waited for two hours, and my car is still sitting in the same parking lot. I asked the manager, he says they are short of technicians. "Hopefully it can be done by 5pm". I mean I understand if you only got two workers there, but why you let people overbook appointments? The man waiting next to me came around 11 am and his car is also sitting in the parking lot waiting. Like, Do they really know how "appointment" works???
This is definitely my last time visiting FirestoneReview fromKristen M

1 starThere is a woman that works for them in the corporate office that is a vindictive disrespectful harpy. She’s difficult to get a hold of and is extremely rude and disrespectful when you finally do get a call from her. She violates lease agreements to fulfill petty pursuits. I will never spend my money with Bridgestone ever again.Review fromElaine T

1 starFirestone Marietta GA on Powder Springs Road. DO NOT GET BRAKES OR ROTORS REPLACED HERE!!!! Went in because brake pedal dropped slightly while braking but didn't have any other issues or noises. Firestone insists all brakes and rotors need to get replaced which I authorized. Upon leaving, the car proceeds to shake and "groan" loudly when braking over 35 mph. I get the technician to get in the car and she says the master mechanic needs to look at it and by the time we are back to the shop she admits she has NEVER EVER heard anybody's brakes that sounds like mine sound. The Master technician also says no he has never ever heard that type of noise before and they are going to replace the brake pads. They "replace" the pads later that day and when I go to get the , it was driving maybe 15% better but still grunted loudly and vibrated hard above 35. The service manager said they took the ****** ****** off and put on their "mid-grade" brakes and that if I drive it a few days it will get smoother. IT DID NOT GET BETTER. Over 10 days later it still brakes like crap and I am scared to not only drive it with my child in the car but I no longer have time to take off work so they can waste my time, risk my life and take my money. I took my car to the shop next door because I had good experiences with them in the past and didn't have more time to waste with Firestone. They replaced the brakes and rotors as there was NOTHING else wrong with my brake system and the car rides 1000% better without a sound or vibration felt. Firestone sells bargain basement brakes and rotors and they know that and will lie to you or try to get you buy more needless crap instead of fixing what you paid for. YOU AND YOUR TIME AND YOUR MONEY ARE WORTH MORE.
