      Do not go to Firestone. The workers cheat on the parts for the vehicle, rig parts together to keep you coming back, and jack the prices of labor. They also discriminate against women meaning if your a woman, they try to take advantage of you and think you don’t have knowledge of vehicles because of your sex and they mistreat the elderly as well. Don’t go to any Firestone…..soon they will be bankrupt for their wicked business practices.

      Very disappointed in this company. Went in for a brake change and a bearing and they ended up breaking a bolt which then stripped something else and they made us pay for it. Spent a total of 1600 which is ridiculous. They should be responsible for what they break. I have all the documented paperwork for any doubts.

      I use to go to this Firestone, ever since they took over from *********. Yes, that means I used to go there for almost 15 years. Today I went in and asked if they can just reset my computer, because I replaced the mass sensor airflow without disconnecting my battery. The manager “Joe “said he will not do that because it is “federally illegal”, and he didn’t like the fact that I left a bad review a while back when his mechanics did a faulty job. Well, guess what “Joe” here we are again. I reminded him of how much business I gave them, and he said “They would not help today, or ever again.” I told him that’s fine, I’ll just move on to another garage no problem . This manager “Joe “has no clue how to run a business. He is incompetent, and a liar. I would just like people to make sure that they stay far away from this location. The mechanics there, like Mike, who has been there for years is amazing. The other mechanics on the mist part are also good. The problem is that they have an incompetent management with no ethical or morals. I mean to blatantly lie about something isn’t even funny when you’re a Manager. I do feel sorry for this manager “Joe “who feels the need to try to push his authority around, when all he’s doing is making the corporation and businesses lose money. I did go to another garage within half a mile of fire stone. I explained what I did, and what I was asking for of them, they said no problem give us a minute. They hooked up the computer and just like I thought the mass airflow sensor was still the ones showing up. They reset it and told me if it came back on to come back and they would look into it. I asked them about what “Joe “said about it being “illegal” they laughed, and basically stated that he either doesn’t know what he’s talking about or he’s just incompetent. Well, I do know one thing when you write a bad review about him he definitely gets all moody . So here’s another one for you “Joe” at Firestone on deer Valley Road in Peoria.

      Hayward Firestone does not honor the Firestone online coupon. I’ve use the coupon in the past but today the customer rep refused to give me the online price for an oil change for $29.99. Talking with customer service they say the coupon should be honored and will report to area manager. It is not good when I store personnel are not familiar with the online web app and what’s there. That makes for bad customer service and a lot of confusion. The process should be smooth and without misunderstandings.

      I have been to Firestone Complete Auto Care in Steubenville,. OH twice in eight days. The first time was to fix/repair the rear brakes in my 2018 ***** Equinox. I believe I was overcharged.
      I was charged $600.88 for rear brakes and rotors. This is way more expensive than I expected to pay, and I did research online and found that to be true.
      The second time I was there for an estimate on the front brakes, and for one, I was not told that there would be a charge for the estimate until after everything was said and done, I was told about the $10 charge. Also the manager whom I dealt with on the second trip was very unprofessional in his comments to me, about the nature of my front brakes. His comment to me:
      "I hope you have your life insurance paid up", was very disturbing and for someone who was in a bad car accident four years ago, this did not help my ptsd one minute. He said he was joking when he made that comment and I told him that I did not see the humor in his comment, nor did I appreciate his "joke". I think this is in bad taste for someone in retail to treat a customer this way, and I believe it should have been handled better. I'm appalled that this person is a manager, and treating customers in this manner.

      I have been getting my vehicle fixed here for a couple years & at least once before thought I was over charged. Last week went in with noise in my rear brakes. Was told I needed two wheel clyinders & fluid change. I was quoted a price of almost $400. There was a $60 coupon available online which was not granted at that time. I should have never agree to the work but thought if I printed out the coupon it would have to be honored. It was not! $30 worth of parts were turned into nearly $400 & my vehicle still makes the same noise!

      TERRIBLE BUSINESS, THEY HAVE QUESTIONABLE WORK ETHIC AND INTEGRITY, IF AT ALL POSSIBLE TO AVOID FIRESTONE ALL TOGETHER IF NOTHING ELSE AT LEAST AVOID THE WEST SPRINGFIELD LOCATION, I WOULD DEFINITELY RECOMMEND A DIFFERENT LOCATION, WOULD LEAVE 0 STARS IF THAT WAS POSSIBLE.

      I would not advise taking any vehicle to Firestone in Merritt Island, FL. I have been a loyal Firestone Customer for 25+ years. However, the treatment that I received at Firestone in Merritt Island was deplorable. The issue was around an $80 gift card that was offered with the purchase of a set of tires. The offer had to be redeemed through Firestone's redemption site which did not work an several attempts. After a number of exchanges with the redemption website and Firestone customer service, I was routed back to the local dealer who flippantly informed me that I was out of the redemption period. I complained to Firestone corporate and they referred the case back to the dealer. Any good business would have apologized for the redemption issues and perhaps provided a "one time" exception to make good on the original offer. Firestone in Merritt Island did offer to make the reimbursement but only in exchange for me signing that I would not discuss the matter on social media. The same document asked that I acknowledge that I was at fault. Unbelievable!!! I refused to sign and challenged them to small claims court at which they told me that Firestone always wins in court and that I would lose. They also screamed at me that I was committing extortion. I have never been so outraged at another business! How dare they treat me that way after being a long term loyal Firestone customer. They lost me for good. What an awful way to run a business!

      Please don't waste your time by going to this location. Everytime I go there it takes multiple hours just to do simple repairs such as an oil change. They always try to upsale you and make it seem like they are providing fantastic service. On the most recent occasion, I recieved the call that my car was ready and when I went to pick it up there were new issues with the car. I took it back and then waited even longer for my vehicle. Another individual that was waiting had to bring their car back in as well. So they messed up two car repairs at the same time! I feel that I get taken advantage of every time I take my car in.
      I am highly disappointed with this location and will definitely not be bringing my car back there.

      If I could give zero stars I would ! I went to get my steering gear replaced. It was worse after it was fixed. I had to take it to another machine because they didn’t connect something in my steering wheel!!
