1 starHad my oil changed by Tires Plus store # 244206 on Northdale Blvd in Coon Rapids. Got home and there was a large puddle of oil on my garage floor. They spilled oil all over my skid plate and I had to have someone pressure wash it off. Definitely not pressure washed by Tires Plus. I will never go there again. No more oil drips after the pressure washing. They are super careless and I would not recommend anyone take their vehicle there for anything.Review fromDebra C.

1 starI found online and out the door price for tires. I needed 4. These evidently were discontinued tires and they had two in their shop and had to get the other 2 from another store. I was charged $50 for shipping which I voiced my complaint of having to do so at the time of installation. Total out the door was supposed to be $345.99. I was charged $424.97. On further inspection of bill I saw I was charged $33.04 for Road protection which I was not informed about. I didn't have the screenshot of the out the door price at the time so I returned the next day. I was spoken to and treated terribly by the Manager Ray. He had the nerve to tell me I wanted my "Steak and eat it too". I have never been treated so horribly by a business. I filed a complaint with their corporate office about having to pay the shipping, so we'll see where that goes. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THAT ANYONE GO TO THIS FIRESTONE ON BROOKWOOD, IN HAMILTON, OH. I finally got a refund for the Road protection but he absolutely refused to refund the shipping cost. Furthermore, My appointment was for 10 am and they had it down for 3pm!Review fromCamille D

1 starReceived a rebait credit card that was already expired by the time it was forwarded to my new address. After hundreds of dollars in spending to receive it it isn't even valid. Customer service stated they have no way to remedy and that since the statement that came with the card (which I never read since it was sealed with the card) allows them to cancel cards prior to customers redeeming the funds.Review from.SLS Dawn

1 starWas sending review and like that gone. Now you get short review. Firestone did call me this a.m., in shower, left no message. Walk in at 11:00, told they called my cell phone not working. They were closed all day yesterday, for??
Had to National Firestone bad rating from BBB day. Can have lunch with other Firestone stores in county.
Was told can have an appointment Friday. Having surgery Friday. So thanks for the fixed car. Also told I don't have confirmation number which I do. Without number no service. And the rating stays.
This is a place I would stay away from. Was told any other place is going to be over loaded and no car repair or work for days. If I want I can leave my car and get to it at some point. Leave my car so you can "find more wrong" with the car.
Thanks for the help,

1 starI had an oil change back at the end of July. About three weeks later smoke started to come from my exhaust pipe. My car would have smoke coming from the exhaust pipe on and off every few weeks. Next thing I know last weekend my engine light came on and warning signs were on my dash. Went to the dealership today and I was told that I needed an oil change because my oil was dirty. Watch out for them on archer please they will mess your car up!!!!Review fromKayla G

1 starThey tried convincing me that 5 quarts of oil cost $87 (I have not seen 5 quarts of full stnthetic oil more than $30) for a total charge of somewhere around $110 for an oil change. I about had a cow when my niece came home and told me how much she paid. I went in to question it only to be told that's just what the charge is for all of their locations. I don't know how they manage swing that, but it is price gouging and they are taking advantage of unsuspecting people who don't know anybetter. They need to be held accountable and shouldn't be able to just get away with that. Honestly I know we have all paid the cost of learning to always get a quote first somewhere along the lines, but you don't expect such fraudulent practices from a large franchise you expect them to be at least somewhat respectable.Review fromKevin M

1 starAugust 11th thru the 15th 2022. At first these guys seemed like they were genuinely there to help should a problem come about. Talked me into a tire plus account, a credit card so I could stretch my wallet. Well it has not gone like that. Started out a simple repair. It wound up being something that led down to they weren't paying attention and didn't there job. My Vehicle wouldn't start so I had it towed in, they are just a mile up the road. I told them that;" it sounds like the gas filter to me, but the diver in the tow truck said it sounded like the fuel pump to him so I wasn't really sure." So they call me back the next day, which was Saturday and tell me that it's ready and fixed. I bring it home and it seemed to work fine coming home from the grocery store. But come Monday morning it wouldn't start at all, same symptoms as before. So I had to have it towed up there again. This time they said it was fixed in the same afternoon. They also said that it was the fuel pump instead of the fuel filter this time. They wound up double charging me and leading me to think they would take off the labor cost. My Bill show different, around about $400. plus bill to replace the fuel filter, and then turn around only to fix the fuel pump for $500 plus more. I'm having to pay extra charges cause they wouldn't listen, or do their Job. If the diagnostic should have been run then they should run it. I just simple suggested what sounded to be the problem. If Diagnostic are to be include along with the cost I really can't see why they just didn't do that in the first place. Then on top of that they acted like I was right. I wasn't treated fairly as a customer.. I was thinking Tire Plus was a Step above most not a side of the rode mechanic shop. I'm I being led to believe that I'm right again. I was under very stressful condition when they talk me into signing up for their credit card. I was just taking up for Tires Plus because my neighbor was complaining to me about them.Review fromAshley S

1 starIf horrible was enough that is all I would put.
Over the last 6 months my family and I have been left stranded due to our battery dying! We've had to call family, ***. My health isn't at its best and being left stranded in the heat due to a dead battery. So our most recent experience, our battery died. We had to contact *** and had to be jumped off! Waiting 30+ mins on someone to come and jump us off and tested the battery
and said IT WAS BAD! We took the car straight to our local store. Who told us that the battery was good! From there we went to a local
Dealership and had the battery tested AND IT WAS BAD! We paid $250.00 to have the battery replaced! We have contacted Firestone 1-800 number about 9 or 10 times now. Been promised call back after call back. And still no call back! The battery was just replaced in JUNE OF 2021! IT IS NOW SEPT. THE BATTERY WAS REPLACED IN AUG OF 2022. AND IT HAD A 3 YEAR WARRANTY! But because the car has been running for 30 mins the battery tested good! We have taken the battery to 4 other places to be tested and AGAIN THEY SAID THE BATTERY WAS BAD! good luck getting any service that's worth anything!Review fromBruce M

1 starDue to my recent issue with them I felt that I needed to warn people to stay away from this particular location(Firestone 1666 Boston Rd.,Springfield,Mass.) I have done business with them for many years and have several vehicles that I bring to them for service. Now ,I always felt that they are instructed to look for potential problems and up charge you especially on labor but being obviously a business to make a profit I suppose that is understandable to a degree. My latest incident was the final straw-I brought in my vehicle for an oil change, alignment, and inspection sticker. First of all, I realize dealing with the public can offer many challenges due to people's personalities and bringing your car in to an auto repair place is not what you call fun but you should maintain some professionalism for who you work for. I was told my car was ready so I paid my bill and proceeded to drive my car. I wasn't even out of the parking lot and noticed that my steering wheel was pulsating and one of my front tires felt off-so I got out of my car and noticed my wheel was awkwardly leaning inward. I went back in and mentioned this to the manager on duty and his response was are you sure it wasn't like that when you came in? I said no and he rolled his eyes at me-which I asked him why did you just do that?..this is about my safety, isn't it? After taking it back in and looking at the front end something happened when they were doing an alignment and the wheel assembly bent inwards. Now I know that it was an older car and more things go wrong as they age but I drove this to Firestone and there was nothing like this going on with my car prior to them working on it-also how could I possibly get an inspection sticker on it when it wasn't drivable? I was then told that the repairs needed with labor would be upwards to $2500 and he would not do the repair because it would take up to many people. So I had to make a decision to sell my car as is because it wasn't worth the work neededReview fromSherland Y

1 starTook my car in for a scraping noise under the car. When I pick up the car they said there was nothing wrong. I told them that this happen when i go over Speed bumps, he said they would check that. The guy at the front then called me back and said it was the shocks and he gave a price for repair of over a thousand dollars. I asked to speak to the mechanic about, he said ok and we hung up. When I when to the shop I told the young man at the desk that I was here about my car. He asked my name and just went out got the car and brought it out without asking any questions. Came back in the shop told me the price for the visit which I paid. And he handed me my key. When I ask to speak to a mechanic he said they were not available. When I went outside my mom who was with me noticed a piece of metal somewhat like a metal plate hanging down from the front. So I went back in and told him about that. He said it came in like that. Now how would he know that unless he was the mechanic... he then said the mechanic would not leave it like that. Now I would think that if the car came in like that I should have been made aware so we could address that situation, but nothing was said. So all I can think is that they left it like that. All I was asking is why it was hanging down and get that fixed since I was at the shop even if I had to pay for it. My problem is about that nonchalant attitude of your front desk employee. To date I have not been able to speak to a mechanic there to get a resolution to the problem. He was as unprofessional and really to not need to be dealing with the public. Customer service is very important. He just did not care about what I needed and just handed me my key. What kind of place is this. I am totally dissatisfied. I called the corporate office and have not gotten any solution to this not even an apology. spoke to a Sebastian at the store who say he is the manager but would give a last name just hesitated. HELP PLEASE. Austell Rd location.
